Great info, but one thing that you neglected to mention is for people going away on vacation how many days can you program these feeders for. But all in all, it’s a great source of information. Specially, compare all those different brands.
Nice video, and surprised the Marine Depot allowed a review of cheap "knockoff" that Amazon seems to be populated with to be in the video, even though many aquarium goods are coming out of the same factories overseas. One thing to keep in mind though, is how thick the glass something will fit on doesn't mean it'll fit if you have trim around the aquarium top as that will often be much wider than what even the largest of these mounting clamps will go on.
The question is that , my tank and most of classic tanks has closer at top , so where will i put this feeder ? Because the only way i can put it inside the aquarium.
You also as the other review I watched didn't mention the time a charge will last I'm going on vacation for a week so I'm looking for something that will last for atleast 8 days functioning..
Thx for the vid. Please provide link for the 3 in 1 feeding ring from innovated marine gourmet defroster. Cant find it on Amazon. Are you reviewing something you cant even buy anymore? Thanks
Eheim offers a connected version of this feeder as well, the Autofeeder+ WiFi, or at least in Europe they do. It's close to a 100€ though, compared to 30€ for the regular non WiFi version.
Ok I'm doing research on nano tanks..looking at doing a 40 breeder reef tank with a 29 gallon sump. One of the drawbacks I have is I go hunting and fishing a couple times a year and can be gone 2 weeks at a time. Feeding is my issue can any of these be programed for say twice a day for 2 weeks? Other than my corals I'll only have a couple clowns and a gramma. Plus a small cleaning crew. I plan on placing one of my security cameras on my tank so I can keep an eye on it and also have the neighbor check on it every couple days?
Question if I want to feed my fish for once every other 4 days because I m planing away like 3 weeks is ehiem one capable for that type scheduling thabksn
Never trust that opening to consistently release food. If you put food there to last 2weeks they will all clump up due to the moisture around the tank.
... or just get the Aquarium co-op version which is the pretty like the 50 dollar Lifegard but at the ugly Zacro price. It also has the power button like the expensive Lifegard version and not at the funny location of the Zacro.
nooo the one that seems perfect for what i need (the newer lifegard intelli-feed) is unavailable everywhere I've been searching for like twenty minutes and it's just not for sale anywhere I'm so sad now
anyways this is an extremely helpful and informative video thank you very much for making this! it must have been expensive and time consuming to make so it's greatly appreciated!
The only problem zacro no batteries the cheap Chinese one in it might last year after that you have toss in garbage. Barriers cannot be changed zacro I don’t think. Eheim could last forever simply replace batteries.
Thumbs down for bait and switch. I am looking for your view not Amazon review. Its like turning in your book report that you downloaded from online from some random person.
The most money wasted material in the aquarium product as well as electricity, if you too lazy or forget to feed your fish than why have it in the first place ? If you are going overseas just get someone to feed for you !
Not everyone has someone that can just come over and feed your fish! Let alone trust that person with your keys for a week! Like cmon now! Not everyone lives the way you do guy
Electricity? Majority of them are ran with batteries, clown. I’m not looking at these products because I’m too lazy or forget either. I am looking because I’ll be going on vacation at the end of the year. As another comment said, I don’t trust people coming into my house not knowing the proper hours and how much to feed. Not everyone has family/friends that are that reliable. So… Speak for yourself. 🤡
This video worth its megabytes in $$$. there aren't many individual feeder reviews on youtube. Thank you

Very detailed review, and very informative.
Love your videos!
This was so helpful! I forgot about the Arrow! I was like why isn’t the food dispensing lol.
Very nice review, thank you for posting this.

Thanks for this
Can the zacro be used for feeding beta fishes which don’t need a lot of pellets?
Great vid!! Thanks

Great video!
Thank u!
I was just wondering if you could put any bloodworms or brine shrimp in to any of these feeders?
wondering the same, did you ever figure out or maybe test this??
Great video
Thank you!!
It would be nice if these could connect over wi-fi for an interactive feeding while away.

I'm super new to all this, can someone explain to me, why we use feeding rings?
Could these be used for salt water fish?
Where can I buy the feeding station to place the auto feeder ?
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 great review

I can't have the top off my aquarium. No idea how I could use any of these :(
Even a small opening about 1" x 2" in the top will work.
NooDerky feeder works well for 5 years now
Zacro is no longer available on Amazon
ilonda wifi feeder?

I think the zacro is now petbank
It looks very much like my pet bank. I like the 12 hr, 24 hr, 48 hr buttons.

Should last longer as long as batteries are charged and not drained all the way every time
Mount it anywhere pfffttttt
