I have been getting absolutely clapped with my trial deck, thank you for this! I play a shit ton of TCG's and typically consider myself a pretty decently tactical/strategic person but man... i cant beat 7/8/8/9 when my highest values are like 4/5 on my starter cards LOL
Glad I am able to help! I remember my first foray into TT back in 2.5. Getting that early foothold was hell. Going at it with a clear direction definitively helps! Best of luck!
@@autumneagle I'm at max lvl and currently look through all the sidecontend quests. I still have a view years till I ran out of things to do. Still love it!
Magnificent video, thank you! Also, for those who wanted to build the Primal Ascension deck without spending MGP, you can get the cards (sans Phoenix) by beating some NPCs. The drop rate is about 13%, so it may take a few tries. I'll list the names of the NPCs and their corresponding cards if anyone wants to find them; Swift (Ifrit) - Ul'dah - Steps of Nald (8, 8) Trachtoum (Titan, not to be confused with Titus) - Lower La Noscea (35, 15) Marcette (Garuda) - Central Shroud (15, 18) Vorsaile Heuloix (Good King Moggle Mog XII) - New Gridania (9, 11)
So I just started exploring the Golden Saucer last week. Got about 50k MGP and I decided to buy 1 pack and got Zidane Tribal. I can now actually sometimes beat npcs in the world haha. Amazing side content that might become my main content if I'm not careful
Thanks for this video. I just set up my decks and it took a lot of silver buys to get all the beast cards you mention, but I finally got them all. Also , just won an open tournament. Now to go find that Phoenix card you mentioned.
Beast tribe starter ascension deck is probably the easiest to set up since many are in the bronze packs and sasha nm can drop sahagin card at the end. Once you got that you can start farming one of the kings in the gold saucer who had ascension rule. She'll give up godbert and urianger cards while giving an okay amount of mgp. What I did recently after having to restart after moving from steam to windows client.
Yes, it is typically the route I have chose when I did the same. I'd argue that depending on whether or not you have MGP to spend, you could built a primal deck in more or less the same time, which would be a bit stronger overall, but in terms of cost/convenience/resutls ratios, a beastman deck is better.
I loved triple triad as child on FF VIII. I join soon FF XIV. Really excited to play PVP. Triple Triad is really underrated. Simple rules with big fun.
I’ve always hated the advanced rules! In FF8, one or two them in play isn’t so bad, but as you continue playing through the game more and more stack on each other and becomes a pain in the ass to keep track of. Plus, those new rules are then implemented when dueling other opponents.
It really can turn into quite the complex combo. Personally, I enjoyed it, but I can very easily see why people wouldn't. My least favourite combos is Ascension+Plus and Plus+Same
Aww shucks, you're far too kind! I just have a passion for the game, and Triple Triad in particular. Wanted to pass what I've learned along, in case it might help someone!
I'm a new player and If I'd have ever known that there was a casino in the game, I wouldn't start in the first place, I've become a gambler and don't want to play MSQ other than gambling.
i agree but in this game u cannot gamble the in game gil currency it is a totally different currency altogether which u can only purchase a very limited amount with the game currency JUST to get u started and u pretty much dont lose ur currency i either gain it fast if ur lucky/skillful in games or super slow if the opposite so its weird to say but it is healthy gambling where ur pretty much always a winner its just a matter of how hard u win
That is odd. If either rule is in place, so long as one of the adjacent cards belong to the opponent, and the numbers fulfill the plus or same criteria, it should.
I saw it, it looks so cool. I mostly only ever concerned myself with functioning decks over fully completing the collection, but now it seems I am going to have to take some steps.
@@StellaKagami I can imagine, the rng for some of the drops are...rough. And thank you for watching and commenting. I hope it helped you in some areas!
Okay, from what I can see, there has been some issues with this NPC. Goushs Ooan (The Tempest, 32.2x 18y) should sell it for 250 bicolor gemstones. Some have reported needing rank 1 to purchase from him, which can be done by completing a FATE in the area. Others reported not needing to do any of those Fates at all. If you cannot get the card to appear in Goushs' shop, try a fate to reach rank 1 or potentially 7 for rank 1 to get the card to appear in their shop. You should be able to track your rank from the Shared FATEs tab in your Travel menu tab! I hope this helped!
The main way to play other players would be to select them and choose the "Challenge to triple triad" (Or something to a similar effect) option. Not all areas of the game have triple triad available, but most player hubs do.
have no clue how to appose my npc with Ascension. I already know that it means +1 what i do not understand is how an NPC is flipping my entire column by playing a 4 against my A gaining +1 to +3 on the entire column afterwards.
It is a bit difficult for me know what happened without seeing the screen, but the +1 stacks for each card of the same type. (i.e 3 beastmen equals +3 to all beastment cards on all sides) If one card flips several, including non-adjacent one, it could be plus or same as well.
This is a not a beginner's guide. You are going over every possible match you can encounter. A beginner guide should focus on the basics of the game. I am 6 minutes in and you haven't mentioned what combos are, which is why I am here.
I am so sick of these things being the only thing I get from alliance raids bro lol, I wish they weren’t untradable so I could give them to someone who actually cares about this shit
I am sorry to hear that. I've played this game for a long, long time, and as far as TT goes, that was as much as I managed to boil it down to. I am sorry you' didn't find it helpful, but hopefully, a few tips and tricks will come in handy by the time you're clapping those cards!
Hey! I am sorry to hear my explanation didn't help you. I went ahead and scrounged up the explanation the developers keep for their own rule book. "If the numbers of two or more cards are the same as the numbers on the adjacent sides of the card you place, you gain control of every matching card." Hopefully that makes it clearer! Hope you have a lovely day!
@@QuiteGG you should also making it very clear in your vids that the basic my number is bigger than yours is the first rule that applies THEN the other rule kicks in... once someone made me realize the basic rule was still active i understood how to play instantly... with all the descriptions i seen none of them (including the game one) lets you know the basic rule still applies and thats what causes all the WTF JUST HAPPENED bs lol
