Aye!! Daniil "The Octopus" Medvedev is just what the ATP needs right now in the sanitized world of tennis. No filter, a sense of humor, and the game to back it up. Keep going Meddy!!! My favorite player right now.

The irony is that he called him unfair while actually he is one of the most self-aware and fair players and his answers here prove it. He always thinks and talks fairly, always on point. When something is wrong he admits it and call it wrong, but at the same time he takes no shit from no one 👏

I was so surprised to read what Zverev said about Daniil. He talks about fairplay and behavior but forgets it also counts of court. There are many ways to express dissatisfaction with someone's behavior but he chose to do it in a childish way. He only managed to turn the guns on himself.
I will never forget his behavior during match with Lloyd Harris. Especially when Harris was on a roll and was about to win the set, and Sasha starts complaining about the billboard and throwing Lloyd of his game. Where was his fairplay then?

It is such a hypocrisy to talk about fair play from a guy who doesn’t know what it is himself. Zverev absolutely forgot Acapulco, USO match against Harris, his agression towards his father.
If you can’t serve for the match two times, if you can’t close the match having two match points, try to change something in your game and in your mindset. Medvedev studied physics and math at a specialized school before graduating early and enrolling in economics and commerce at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. He later dropped out to focus on tennis.[13] He then switched to the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth, and Tourism, where he received his diploma as coach.[14] With his family he moved to Antibes, France where he trained at the tennis academy.[15] His parents have been living in France since then, as retirees.[12] As a result of living mostly overseas after turning 18, Medvedev can speak French and English fluently, besides his native Russian.[11] there you go ! Love Daniil's responses, especially to the Zverev "incident." He basically told Sascha (nicely) he can piss off! Boy he is getting salty these days! I guess it's frustration.

Top, top bloke. So clear in his explanations and calm and rational.
I hate the mob crowd behaviour eg French, US, Aussie. Crass behaviour. I like crowds that appreciate good SPORTSMANSHIP and applaud the positive as opposed to baying and booing their delusional negatives.

I actually thought Daniil and Sacha were friends (maybe not Andre or Karen level of friends), guess I was wrong. Sacha took the biggest L on this one. Wish Daniil could get more points through clay season, or even a 250 or 500 title on clay for 1st time.

We as the public learn more about a players' charector when they lose. We can watch, listen to the interviews after a loss. Look at their attitude, choice of words, overall demeanor.
Some experienced players are a huge disappointment. With all that experience still lack composure n fail to give respect to people around them, to do a decent interview, even when its tough. You lost just a match Meddy, u have your health🙏. Good job Meddy👌

Zverev - here is an expensive free tip
Instead if trying so hard only on the tennis court, why don't you try harder in your personal life - cause you certainly aren't a "fair person" towards your partners.
