    Susie, I'm extremely grateful for your vids on how to sculpt and fill using your non dominant hand. This is an issue I struggle with as a nail hobbyist, building nail sets on myself. I'm currently using hybrid gels (from tubes) to build my nails, so it's taking a bit of testing to figure out how best to apply the techniques I've learned in those vids.
    I really appreciate the encouragements you give all of your viewers, particularly to be patient with ourselves as we learn how do the various techniques and build up our skills. You're a fantastic teacher and thank you for taking time to show your viewers tips and tricks of the trade.

    In retirement I returned to playing classical guitar. Because the right hand nails need to be longer and strong, I struggled to maintain my natural nails. Before COVID I started going to a salon to get acrylic nails on my right hand. Once stay-at-home started, I decided to learn how to do it myself. Suzie's videos and slow curing acrylic monomer gave me the courage to try. I'm still learning, but have been able to apply the acrylic using my nondominant hand. Thank you Suzie for your videos. I've learned alot about nail care.

    I was the only nail tech in the 80’s in all the towns in NY. I worked in salons and when I went to college I made so much money doing people’s nails by going to their houses. I did that all through college and years after even when I began teaching. Then I stopped doing my clients because teaching high school needed my attention. I did acrylics, wraps etc. but never did gels. So for years I have been getting my nails done with gels. I decided because of finding your videos to go to doing my own nails again. I cannot go without my nails domes ever! Thank you for the great videos and it’s like riding a bike. I still got It! Just need to practice gel and that Polygel as well. Xoxo

    In the 90s and 2000s, when I’d get acrylics done, no matter what salon I went to they would make the cuticle area so thick. I hated it. So I’d go home and use a hand file to file down that area to look more seem less from the cuticle area to the apex. It’s nice to see someone that actually looks at the side profile of the nail

    1.put a clear polish on your mail
    2.dip your nail in to the glitter jar
    3.wait it to dry
    4.repeat the steps again until you cover the hole nail with clead
    5.use super glue as a activator and put it in top off the glitter
    6.use a drill to smooth out the serfes of the nail
    7.let it dry and use a gel too coat to make it shine
    Hope you use it as an idea . And enjoy

    • @BexMcInulty
      @BexMcInulty 4 роки тому +4

      @@Skalyon2 the monomer is not the issue, it's the polymer that's just too gritty to melt into a smooth paste

    • @xOutsiderSuckz
      @xOutsiderSuckz 3 роки тому +4

      I find that highly pigmented acrylics often have that issue regardless of brand. They take a bit more monomer to go on smoothly than clear, white or nude acrylics.

      Its interesting that you say that because I’ve had a few of my students say that and I’ve even experienced that a few times myself. I think it’s because when we are doing our other hand we are not focusing as much over just doing too much with our hand and motion. But when we’re doing the opposite hand we’re not able to have a good motion so we make each move much more focused and less and I think that’s helpful when dealing with the product😊 I know it sounds weird but I know what you’re talking about it doesn’t make sense

    This looks so smooth. I’m really going to try to accomplish doing my nails at home with something other than polygel or dipping powder

    What color is on your non dominate hand? That color looks BEAUTIFUL on you. Hope you are staying safe as well as your family and thank you for making this quarantine a little less boring with every video. 🖤

    Edit* right after I posted this, I seen you just uploaded a video today about this e-file!! Going to go watch it now 😍😍😍 Suzie, I trust your advice so I’m wondering do you recommend the e-file you’re using in this video? I’m trying to buy a new one and I’m just so torn between which one to get but this one has some good reviews so I’m curious how you like it? I hope you see this and answer. Thanks so much for your amazing videos, they’ve helped me tremendously!! 💅🏼💕

    A really great lesson today as always 😗 I myself are often so focused when I am doing my left hand that I make it better than the right hand😉 Unless I am in front of the camera, then it's way harder 😅 Tfs sweetie 😘💕💕
