- INGREDIENTS:
1 packet of Lam Sheng Kee Vegan Black Pepper Beef Steak or Gardien Beefless Strips
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 thumb sized piece of ginger peeled and sliced
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
1 head of broccoli, cut into bite sized pieces
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon vegetarian/vegan oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon cornstarch
1. In a separate bowl, coat fake meat with cornstarch or potato starch.
2. Blanch broccoli for 1 minute then toss in ice bath to stop cooking process.
3. In a smaller bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, Chinese rice wine, and 1 teaspoon cornstarch
4. Now that you've prepped all the ingredients it's time to cook it all up.
5. On medium-high to high heat throw in a tablespoon of vegetable oil.
6. Once the vegetable oil is nice and hot, throw in the garlic and ginger, and sauté for a couple seconds.
7. Next throw in you vegan meat and let that cook until the edges of the meat get browned up.
8. Add in the sauce mixture and broccoli and continue to saute that goodness.
9. Optional: mix in a little sesame oil.

You have no idea how badly I had a craving for this hit out of the blue, mock meat I struggle with, but will be making this with either tvp or soy curls tonight!

Awesome Video! Everyone's question now to you... Where can we all find the Lam Sheng Kee Vegan Black Pepper Beef Steak?
That looks HELLA GOOD
Thank you 😀

You are so right. Broccoli and beef's combination has never happened in our dishes We cook broccoli most of the time only with garlic. But this looks very nice. Gonna try it. Thanks
Yay! Finally something my lil siblings will eat! They’re super picky but they loved this! Thank you 😊

I want try with wild rice to add to the healthy part of this dinner
As always, this looks so tasty!
Thank you 😀
Which Asian market did you find this vegan beef at? I am in Denver too!
Yum, looked so good!
Thank you 😀
yay you're back!
Yes!! Good to be back 😀
The vegan stripes u used it is pre marinated soya chunks in soy? I have soya chunks but they are not marinated..
Thank you for the tip about coating the veggie beef strips with cornstarch. I'll try it. Does it make them crispier? I've sauteed them, but they're still pretty soft, almost slimy, more like a mushroom.
@@Ali-pb6jb it has to be the brand, because I've had other "beef" strips that I liked
Excellent vegan recipe but if you're in the USA, the white sugar is not vegan; not even vegetarian since it's filtered with charred cow bones :(
Yummy 😋
Thank you 😀
Bomb bruh
The Gardein beef strips are awful, its soft and mushy. I tried it once and threw out the whole bag. The Asian brands are the best hands down, the faux meats are "meaty" and chewy even when its wet with sauce. Even Tofu, cut into strips and pan fried are better, it will also become chewy when pan fried first.
