🤨 - I assume the rust he referred to is the hardware, and the nails. Wood does not rust ~ is dirty and needs cleaning. Been put-off watching this video; the “Google induced” ego appearing 10 seconds of footage in the right hand corner of the frame 😠

Great restoration! Rounding over the top was a very good finish. Cleaning the materials before using the planer may prolong the blade life.
