    This is great work! A note about Bob Ross. He served admirably in the US Air Force from 1961-1981. When someone remarked about his "happy little trees" and everything in his paintings being happy, he said "That's why I paint. It's because I can create the kind of world that I want, and I can make this world as happy as I want it. Shoot, if you want bad stuff, watch the news." Good for him!

    Easter Egg:
    13:23
    Bob Ross is in his canoe. Hard to see
    He is towards the bottom left of the screen on the water in the canoe. An easy way to find this is to look straight towards the center of the screen and then under the dark pointy trees follow the water line that meets the land. Pass the rocky area moving your eyes to the left and then when the land of the left is starting to become out of view from the trees leaves in the foreground, you will see Bob Ross in his canoe.
    EDIT:
    This will be very hard to see on your phone.

    For what it's worth, Bob always did a copy of the painting he was taping beforehand and had that off screen as a reference. Funnily enough, he didn't stop there either, after the painting done for the show, he'd do a 3rd version, with a professional photographer looking over his shoulder taking shots at strategic points throughout to use in his step-by-step instructional book series. And even the first test painting would come after a day or so of painstaking planning. He may have made the process look effortless, but it was anything but. They are always the product of a thorough and meticulous mind that was always striving to perfect his performance.

      @@ako_0256 Unfortunately it is not that simple. Cycles is a Path Tracer, Evee is a Rasterizer. No matter how much you try, Evee will never look as good as Cycles. The plugin that cgmatter showcased brings SSGI, which is basically a worse Global Illumination for real time.
      Also, for the guy with the laptop with 4GB of RAM, this scene is impossible to handle. There is so much geometry here that it will fill up those 4GB in no time. Probably just the mountain is enough to crash Blender.

    • @ako_0256
      @ako_0256 4 роки тому +5

      @@vladchira521 As CG geek said, there are a lot of duplicates of trees and bushes and grass. In the video of speeding up cycles by Blender Guru, he told us about Object instancing. To do that, just use Shift+D to duplicate. What it does is that during the initialisation of the render, a cube for example is loaded into the memory only once but that data in the memory is used multiple times. This works well on laptops with 4gb ram and in projects where we have to mass-duplicate a mesh. Particles work in the same way. And yes the plugin I advised earlier enables SSGI in Eevee, but the output is fairly comparable to Cycles. Hope this is informative.
