0:40 NSF *Casually aim at the main character and wait until the conversation scene is done* lol at least the NPCs are nice about it lol meanwhile in Fallout 4. you get interrupted lol
Missed a few. There's another hidden chamber in the NSF helicopter base, in their break room. The moving bookcase is activated by a nearby pinball machine and a security computer. There's also a second medbot inside a shipping container at Liberty Island. It's further out towards the back of the statue. At Smuggler's, check behind the mirror on the second floor for a weapon mod and some armor. You can either use the keypad behind the adjacent bed, or just break the thing. In Hong Kong, you showed how to get to the flooded tunnel with the scientist and karkians, but there's an additional little area where you can pick up a couple rebreathers. At the bottom of the shaft you swim straight down to get to the bombed-out tunnel, there are some pipes, and underneath those, you'll see two crates, tantalizingly out of reach. To access those crates you need to swim around in the canal and in a tunnel area, find an opening in the wall just below the surface. Take that route to the spot underneath the aforementioned shaft and you can reach those crates.
There is also one more at the missile silo: Outside of the fenced area, there is a garrison house. You go upstairs and hack the keypad on the wooden column in the middle of the room, that lowers a stairs to a secret loft.
In the flooded 'canal road'-tunnel, he took a left, had a bbq and then got the aug-upgrade. Taking a right there you can find, below some broken pillars, a weapon upgrad and something else I readily can't recall.
I thought I knew every single secret, bug, and glitch in this game but the lootable body/Smuggler's elevator bug is a first for me. Dang this game is awesome, still learning new stuff after 20 years
If you have Jaime leave unatco instead of stay, and you repeatedly talk to him in Hong Kong with a full inventory, JC keeps pooping out upgrade canisters.
There's a conversation with Manderley's secretary (Janice Reed ) at UNATCO after escaping the MJ12 when she admits she stole among other things from Jacob's false floor. Of course this false floor is there from the begining and a good hideout for hide and seek with UNATCO troops at the begining of the game :p
At smuggler's place. You can climb the walls in the room he's in by stacking some crates (i think) and if you walk around enough you'll find a damage weapon upgrade thing.
one easter egg i found was when i used the ghost cheat code in hong kong and found a spot where a bunch of women were dancing near a large human skull that was near one of the loading areas
This video isn't bad but it could have been much better, because sometimes you don't understand if it's "hidden place", or secret, or game breaking or...
(and probably the area you need noclip to visit), but yeah, the secret basement is actually not that secret - shannon will tell you that she made it when you escape unatco, if you bother to talk to her.
There is another Easter egg in Vandenberg, where there are 4 bodies and among these there are 1 bodies that have resources outside the wall of the complex. To access you need to climb the tower of the water tank and jump to the top of the wall and deposit leap out of the wall . .
I found a new one, the second time you got back to Unatco HQ when the island is closed off there is a way to clip over the wall, at the top of the statue of liberty there are 2x grenades, very weird...
Crazy how i played this game atleast 4-5 times and still there is a bunch of stuff i missed. Sadly there will never be a Game like this anymore. And dont get me started how the Story is basicaly a Prohpecy.
today i found something new in deus ex...in metro station in paris after killing gunther and before meeting everett there is the seller and if you Find out his notebook and his secrets jcdenton tries to Bring down prices By threatening..daamn..feels good still alot of thing to discover in this game.
There are plenty of TNT crates around the first map to crack the sunken ship, no need to get the GEP. However, because the crates float, and because you cannot push floating stuff under water, you need to toss them into the water, and before they have risen back to the surface, push them deeper. Then retreat to solid ground quickly and shoot them. Pop goes the hatch.
In the Paris Cathedral level, there is a plant trellis on the right side of the cathedral that you can climb to get on the roof. I think it's the only climb-able wall in the game.
It took me YEARS to find the way into that flooded road section in Hong Kong. Dont know how many hours I spent combing through the area looking for the way in. Hong Kong still ranks as one of my all time favorite video game maps. Thick atmosphere and the sense that there is always more secrets to uncover. Maybe I should reinstall it...
there are multiple ways to get inside (as always). The obvious "main" one being the secure bunker topside which is guarded by bots. This path is the sneaky less-combat-oriented route
@@JadeCordova Wasn't as sneaky for me, since the MJ12 troops spotted me right away. Thankfully, a LAM and a few pistol rounds were enough to take them out.
@@BlindBosnian Yeah, that area was the "human enemies" choice. I remember sneaking in so didn't do much shooting. The main door bunker is protected by electronic surveillance/traps and bots with a very long elevator ride down. For those who dont want to "waste" all this good exp into hacking and electronics early game ;-). Just drop some of the items to the ground u want to duplicate and use the mousewheel fast to pick them up again.

Anvilshock you can get a sniper or crossbow from enemies on liberty island but no gep gun though.
