Turning the ribbons into charms is such a good idea! I might do that in some of the notebooks where i don't use them. I'm slowly trying to go back to reading (in a more regular way) so i'm looking forward to your videos about the books you read, one of my goals is reading more in my native language too because I find myself reading everything in english these days.
So glad to hear it! Please do let me know if you charmify any of your journal ribbons, I'd love to see. And yes, here's to more reading in native tongues in 2024! I am with you on this journey ❤
My book recommendation is "All Creatures Great and Small" by James Herriot. It's part of a series of books where a vet recounts many sweet and funny stories of his experiences with animals in the British countryside. It's such a wholesome book! ^_^ The heart-warming and funny stories have the ability to heal one's tired soul. The writing is lyrical and light. The message of acknowledging the difficulties, while still savouring the simple pleasures of life shines throughout the book. I'm making my way through the series and I'm really enjoying it so far. The audiobook version narrated by Christopher Timothy is pretty good too ☺️
Since you have a goal of reading dragon books, I would recommend A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan. It’s also a series and you could gold eggs to your series page!
i like the cover page idea, adding stickers to represent each one you finish. i’m interested to see how that cover page looks at the end of the year! can’t help with the book recos 😅 - i got a little too excited since I watched this video while sipping on my honey citron tea like you have in the video 😆
I'm so very much looking forward to seeing your January reading log 🥰 Everything looks so fab, I love your creativity! What you did with the ribbons from the journal? 🤯 I never would have thought of doing that 🤭 Such a great idea 😊
Looking forward to see what books you read in January 🤗
Yay thanks! Part 1 of my January books is already up :)
A book recommendation!! 😱 I would go for The Song of Achilles or… The Binding! Or… Strange the Dreamer 😁
Oooh I did like Song of Achilles! Will check out the others! Tysm!💜
