NEEWER Follow Focus - Is it any good?

If you’ve ever searched for equipment that falls in the “budget” category then you’ve probably come across the brand NEEWER before. They’re a company that specializes in making film, audio, and photography equipment but at a significantly reduced price compared to the rest of the competition. I’ve bought a few other NEEWER products in the past and I’ve genuinely been impressed at their quality. And that definitely holds true for this follow focus.

I tried running this Focus follower on my Meike Cinema lens and the L bracket arm prohibits the focus gears from connecting with the gears on the lens. In my personal opinion save your money and get something with a little better quality.

I do have a problem with this item : the follow focus keeps sliding on the 15mm rods where I mounted it... do you know a way to fix that ? Thank you

mine stopped working after 1 day's use. definitely not going this cheap again haha

Dang. What happened? Mines held up pretty well so far.

The gears lost traction inside the housing so the knob spins freely without the gear turning. It was a hefty lense though so as long as you stick to light weight lenses you'll probably be fine.

@@AllTheBeef Na it's the housing of this trash. Just poorly build, received mine yesterday. As of now, my dad is fixing it - hate retuning stuff 😂
