I'm from Atlanta originally, and I dearly loved her character in Designing Women. Miss Dixie was the perfect southern lady. She could tell you off without using any vulgar language 😉, I loved that. Rest in peace Miss Dixie 🙏

Designing Women , as Julia, the episode where they went camping and stayed in a Cabin and went Dancing. Fun episode. Her Husband Hal and Delta’s Husband Jerald played in that episode too! and that made it even more fun!❤️🎬👏👏

Also on that episode was Richard Gilliand who was portraying Mary Jo’s (Annie Potts) boyfriend, but in real life was married to Jean Smart (Charlene).

Thank you and I'm Glad to see the Channel Growing. 👍👏👏👏. I Remember Designing Women. Her Role as Julia Sugarbaker was refreshing and she was so classy. She played that part, but no suprise she was Very Talented. I spent a lot times just laughing and enjoying that show. No doubt you knew who was the Boss.🙂. I remember she was married to Actor Hal Holbrooke. He was a fine Actor as well. That kind of cancer was hard to detect. I'm told very painful. Sad she had to endure that. You did a very good job. Don't worry about it. Take your time. Glad to see her final Resting place, glad you took us there. I got no notification. Luckily I was on my phone, saw you were live. I just rewatched so I didn't miss a thing. Take care. Love, and Blessing to you and your family. Love, respect and positivity always. Neita,Ace and family. ✌🖖🕯💕🦋🌠🌻🙂👋👣.

I loved the episode of Designing Women where she was defending her sister to someone who had made some snarky remark about her sister's pageant history. She was vicious, but she never said an ugly word!

I always enjoy your cemetery walk-throughs. I’m always fascinated by the above ground crypts and wonder why people prefer that to regular burials. Another note, I wrote to Dixie Carter, and at the time I was collecting I would have celebrities draw a picture of themselves and sign it. Mrs. Carter obliged as well as sent me a signed photo. Thank you so much for showing us her final resting place.
