On one of my runs I went to shotgun a pinky point blank and all of the pellets missed and hit a barrel behind it and it was kind of far. I was like wtf and then I hear coincident's voice talking about the blockmap bug and then I get a brain blast 💀

Dropping from a tall enough height makes the player do that sound, but they never added a check to see if the player is still alive so it plays regardless. I find it charming somehow.

At that time, the appropriate sound effect I had in my mind when you said, "that beautiful Arachnotron you have a crush on..." was the "Wow" from the "Fairy Tail" anime. 😆 (Actually, it originally came from Konami's old game, "Parodius". 😅) And yeah, being the lucky sod to take down Doomguy would gain you massive points in the Underworld, for sure. 😆

@Quadsword Yep, confirmed by Bobby Prince himself: "The Archvile is an evil healer. Anyone getting in his way is blasted with fire and disintegrated. But, after he has wrought his destruction, he then goes around and reanimates all of the demons. Because of this interesting dual personality, I decided to give him a very evil laugh as an active sound. For his death sound, I recorded a young girl saying 'why,' pitch shifted it down and mixed it with other sounds. The Archvile just doesn't understand why anyone would want to kill him as he sees himself as only doing good for his fellow demon."
