That Dr. Strange looks great! But the gummy knee plastic sucks! I've had him on the shelf for about a year, and took him down to find him bow legged now.

Aside from the Spider-spam, most of this list was pretty reasonable. ML has made some massive improvements in the last 5-6 years, so it makes sense there's going to be a lot of new figures.
I am by no means a gatekeeper or elitist, but this list seems like it was voted on by the Covid collector boom collectors…I didn’t know the rules for voting or nominations so I don’t know if Toybiz classics lines counted or not, I mean the Spider-Man classics, hulk classics, fantastic four classics, X-men classics lines. For example: McFarlane Spider-Man, Red Hulk Tigerstripe Wolverine, Dragon Man, Sentinel BAF, Galactus BAF, Wave 11 Hulkbuster Iron man, Fin Fang Foom, Face Off Captain America, a recent one..3 pack Daredevil, and such…I mean this is a 20 plus year line, and all there is here is Spider-Man from pretty much last year…
Walgreen's Moon Knight was available literally by the dozens at multiple Walgreens near me. Many of the stores blew them out for $5-$10 on clearance. It's wild to me that some stores never got it at all.

Thanks for having the polls and making a video! For me recency bias is hard to tell bc I think the paint apps and sculpts have been improving for ML. Although I think the materials and tooling has been dropping. For example retro Spidey’s butterfly joints work way better than RYV. If only retro ver didn’t have pins I think it’d still be no 1!
My top Legends figure is Modular Ironman followed by Movie Venom and 20th anniversary Captain America. Surprised no Modular or Movie Venom on the list as both are spectacular figures.
Gotta go with the 80th Captain America and RYV Spider-Man over here. As for no MCU stuff... to be honest I can count the MLs that caught my interest this year on one hand, and so far 2024 doesn't look any different.

My personal pick ups from this year differ significantly from the list lol. I have none of the spider men (I do have the MAFEX comic one though). I mainly collect my favorite heroines like the very very good Retro carded rogue and ‘97 Rogue.

Depends on the business type/model. It would make sense for something with weekly releases on the same day (like comic book Wednesday). Overall though I think the killer of it is like of scalability. If your shipping once a week your output is 1/7th of its max potential

I am more of a WWE figure collector, but I am a huge fan of marvel legends! I love collecting Hulk figures, and she Hulk figures, and huge figures! My favorite one in my collection might be the Hulk from the avengers video game wave! Although I also love the Stan Lee figure which is just incredible! It's a tie!
Not a knock against any particular collector, but results like this are why I don't feel very connected to the Legends community. First off, I've been collecting since wave 1. The anniversary Cap with the Paul Harding head sits right next to my Toy Bix wave 1 Cap. I don't need more Caps than those two, though I somehow find I have like 5 more. In general though, I'm not interested in the "Hall of Costumes" style collecting, I like what I refer to as my definitive collection, which is to say, figures based on my favorite artist's rendition. But I refuse to, and always have, buy every Wolverine, buy every Spider Man, buy every Venom, etc... so in a "top Legends" style list, I have a favorite execution of every character, but only one. No recency bias, no "but how do I choose my favorite Iron Man from all 156 armors in my collection." And then to boot, my interests are evidently too deep for most Legends collectors. I'm beyond pissed that we're fargin 20 years in and STILL no In-Betweener, no Stranger, no Champion of the Universe, only 1 costume for Quasar, no Enforcers, no U-Foes, no Living Laser, no Haslab Living Tribunal or Celestial (pick any one, I beg you). I just can't do 25 Peter Parkers a year for 20 years and not see a more diverse offering

Renew Your Vows Spidey and Spinneret was not a Fan Channel exclusive. I bought half a dozen of them at Target and they were stocked pretty deeply for a few weeks on it.
I dont think recency bias is such a bad thing because a lot of my old figures with pin joints are starting to get pretty gummy. Pinless joints (so far) seem to be the cure for that and seem to be holding up better.

I still don’t think Hasbro has ever given us a good definitive Spiderman. The retro and RYV spiderman are still extremely overrated in my opinion. Even with the toe articulation for the RYV, the atrocious neck articulation will always hold it back for me. Plus i need a lighter shade of blue for it and accessories that are actually good.
