Hi Chico(?) Steve a jeweller from New Zealand...thanks man I will be looking at more of your videos.
I am watching from the UK, I want this machine.
Quick question did you connect it to a compressor? Or just electric?
Hey man! Thanks for posting this! Could you give a little update on how the unit works on the job, so to speak? Cheers!
I dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid forgot the password. I would love any help you can give me!
@Patrick Elijah instablaster ;)
@Dariel Kenneth i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out now.
Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Dariel Kenneth it worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my ass !
@Patrick Elijah you are welcome xD
He doesn't answer anybody, he must have sent it back to noisy he hates noise😅
Hey man would you do another video overview of this artgraver? I'd love to see the range of the power and speed and you'd make my day if you disassembled the handpiece like you would for cleaning and show the piston and spring configuration. Your video is the only one on this version of the machine and people would love some more detail.
T Free will do
How are you liking this pneumatic engraver???

How's the machine
Is it worth buying??
I would like to start engraving to start doing lowriders
Is this machine worth getting
@@palmbeachchico4873 bro, we’re waiting to hear about how this machine works. Do you still use it? Does it work well? Let us know man. Don’t even need a video but some comment will help us decided if it’s good, great or a piece of junk. Thanks
My man, we’re waiting for an update on how well the thing works. You don’t even need to do a video, but some sort of comment would help. You still use it? It works well? What’s the story bro?
enjoyed the unboxing. So, three years later what is your opinion of the machine. I cannot find any customer reviews anywhere. All the best. Santa Cruz CA Custom Jeweler.
Thank you, watching this from Miami.=)
Hey! how it goes with the machine? Should i buy it?
I make grills in Spain!
Saludos!
You must have bought extras . I dont see same model that comes with all the stuff your showing. Did it?
Thanks for showing us this system. Do you mind giving us some update with this machine, and what kind of work that can be done with it? Thanks!
I’ve had mine for several years now, it’s a good machine. No problems thus far. The only thing I wish I had maybe bought the version that also has the Micromotor. I got the graver only.
@EJguitar1 hey! I'm planning to buy this machine very soon. My work will mostly be very very fine lines (I don't care about deep cuts). Have you had any problems with this?
@@theOdin-odin no problems at all, it cuts any lines like butter. At work I use a GRS gravermate and at home I use this machine here, and I much prefer mine I have at home that is this model in the video. Get the proper tools to sharpen your gravers well, that makes all the difference of not having any problems vs struggling with getting smooth cuts
@EJguitar1 thank you so much for your reply. Someone mentioned that GRS QC is 6.2mm, whereas thulis is 4.5mm. How do you sharpen your graver? What extra stuff should I buy?
thank you for review greeting from indonesia
Did you purchase extra gravers? I dont see any of this on internet.
Watching this from The Netherlands!!
Honestly I dont see the difference between chinese and grs.... I have a chinese unit and recently have used a GRS unit. And see some differences but it wasnt enough for me to make the leap... LAS Vegas in the house!
I read a forum where everyone advices not to buy a chinese "Graver Mate or Graver helper" which seems to be the replica of the GRS. But I've seen videos of people making some serious designs with them so I'm bordered line honestly
@@groundupbuilds8643 you know im also on the fence about it too.... I seen how the engraving commuinty rips the chinese knock offs... Ive also seen seasoned engravers tear guys apart for using them..... I feel like these guys need to chill especially when guys like us are new to the game.
@@stylisticsinc Thats right I mean, all I want to know is what is a decent set up for me to try it out, I’m not looking to buy the best tools and end up not being good at it. Many guys on the game hide what their tools are rather than simply giving you some helpful feed back. The machine is the tool but how good you are with it is up to the person using it, it doesn’t mean we’re going to steal their art or something like that
Tapping in from Plant City, FL carnal. I was originally only planning on engraving for lowriders but now I want to look into jewelry as well
Hi could you please tell me, is this working without compressor? Is it good quality... thanks

Hello brother please tell me where to buy this machine please I want this
I will be very thankfull
Thanks
Did you try it out yet?
RD Buford yes of course works great
Helpful! Thx from the top of the world Norway
Hi. What you re feedback about that machine?
Where can these be purchased, Scotland.?
Can you use this to engrave aluminum and brass?
Sydney Australia! thank you.
hola mi amigo podrías indicarme como lo compraste puesto que parece que no necesita compresora y la marca??? Saludos desde Bolivia
Awesome!
Watching from Melbourne, Australia!! Thanks for making the video!!
May I ask how this machine is treating you 2 years on?
Watching from near Manchester UK.
Have u checked out whats on the inside of the box yet? Thatd be awesome if u took a video of the inside and how the Handpiece works..i have a similar setup that i built myself, and im super curious too see if that one works the same way. Thanks for sharing dude!
Tyler Prince yeah I agree with this guy lol. I’d love to see inside the machine itself and the hand piece internals. You’d get a ton of views if you did because there’s a lot of us engravers who love to tinker with building new machines and hand pieces !
Queensland Australia.
Very helpful, planning to buy one of those machine and the GRS are so expensive, greetings from Mexico
I'm from Brazil.
Is it still working OK? Thanks

Like all others from the far East; not up to grs standards. Or Jura's. Or mine. You can't really reach your full potential, or get professional satisfying results with a device like this. Engraving can be learned on a dyi pneumatic engraver, like Shaun does in his many UA-cam videos. He has pro skills, on any engraver. For deep cutting like you need for setting gemstones it's not powerful and precise enough.

Hey bro, nothing wrong with starting on a budget. I started with a hammer & chisel 30 years ago. I just need to let you know that 1st it's GRS not GSR lol. But seriously, GRS doesn't make this type of machine at all. That's more a copy of a JURA which is a very good machine used mostly in Europe but there are a few floating around the states. Now with that said you may or may not be aware of how important it is to sharpen the gravers correctly. It's almost more important than the machine
The angle of the face the size of the heel all matters a ton. If you just sharpen a face on a good aver without a heel it will just dive straight down into the metal and will be pretty much impossible to control. A sharpening system from Steve Lindsey is probably the cheapest but used by most pros. A power home is great but not a must. There are tons of videos on how to sharpen a graver correctly. Good luck on your engraving journey. Do research on everything. A great site to get on my s called the Engravers cafe . Tons of info.
I Engrave in stone now , I want to start engraving on car steel parts would you think this is the engraving tools to get? I have been looking at other engravingtools that needs a air compressor , any suggestions?
About $4000 to get set up correctly. Check out GRS. You will be very disappointed with chinese tools.
Good and cheap ! 😁
hi mate whats the engraver called?
Artgraver Chinese they have very little info that’s why I made the video
GRS not gsr
Yes thank you sorry 😐
I bought one of these too - it's a great little machine - quick shipping from China to the USA.
Would you mind sharing where you can purchase one of these unit's,
TYIA. Scotland.
I was interested in this engraver, maybe you can make a review about it?
Yes I will try it out !
Hi you reached England ,I've just ordered one of these ,I'm a UK designer goldsmith .
Surely a goldsmith could afford better.
Did you end up getting one? If so, how is it working? Thanks.
@@djahnrathernotsay6271 I have a similar model. It will engrave but you won't have super fine control like pro's. One could just as easy develop techniques on this machine given enough time and practice. If you get one clean the hand pieces and you'll have to set them up. I've taken apart the rotor valve and cleaned it to. NO OIL! On anything. Worked much better. Having a proper sharp graver bit really made a difference too.
@@anti-popfpv4638 Thank you for the quick reply - are you saying that I should oil the rotor valve?
@@djahnrathernotsay6271 no no no! Don't oil anything. You don't want any kind of oil getting into your airlines or system at all. And bearings run better on their "race" when dry. Took me almost 2 weeks to tweek everything so i got the gel i wanted. Before cleaning I couldn't even notice the bias knob helping me start out slow and soft after cleaning that bias knob had a purpose! I think the foot pedal could use some tweeking too but i haven't assessed what exactly could be improved yet but maybe flanging all edges in air system as a start
This is actually not like the grs machines, it's supposed to be like the Jura art graver I believe. Possibly even the enset machine.
Jura Artgraver is Jura by GRS
Jura is its own company, has nothing to do with GRS. JURA is a native Russian guy who is a diamond setter and machine tool builder, he has or had a course center here in the Netherlands.
It’s a rip off off his machines, great looking and seems to be working ripoff though
@@EJguitar1 no, it isnt
@@Aurorumokular yeah, thank you. that’s what I was saying, by my comment from a couple years ago. It’s supposed to be like the Jura art graver.
Interesting video. I have a GRS GraverSmith. I have had to work on a few GRS machines and I have to say the two build wise are actually not the same. That being said I get asked all the time what someone should find on a budget. So I would appreciate it is you offered a bit more insight as to how well it works and if it is holding up? Also the graver tips , are they tungsten? Do they hold up ?
Do you engraving at all ? If so what materials? Or did you only purchase it for setting stones?
Thank you for the upload.
NYC here, is the machine any good? Durable?
