The most impressive thing is that there are no cuts in the video or audio. It's a real live performance, with no interruptions, from start to finish. Your cross-picking skills are outstanding as well.
Yeah, along w Zappa, Mahavishnu, Yes, ELP, Crimson was/is one of those bands that you can't see how they can be so good live considering the complexity.
Nicely done , SIR This must have taken six months or longer .. i commend you i learned some of this , long time ago .. but Zero cuts thats ; Discipline ' !! 🤘
It is easy to understand the adrian part first. The first half is 5/4 and the second half is 15/16. Robert's part sometimes pulls out eighth and sixteenth notes from there.
Respect and admiration for the accomplishment, and gratitude for your share. I'm currently working on both parts, so I especially appreciate the separation into right and left channels. Is there a backing track, or did you play over the original at a lowered volume? Thanks again for making such a useful educational video.
trying to cover Robert's part myself. I can play each part flawlessly but the last segment is a resistance test. My hands get tired from all the motion
@@astroguitar No worries! I'm working my way through. I've played some hard stuff, but this is next level! I had no idea how intricate the parts were. 5 on top of 4 on top of 15 on top of 17. Brain melted. Again, excellent job!
This is great! I'm working on this as well. What program did you use to synchronize the videos? I wanted to give the recording a test run when my hands needed a break, but I couldn't find anything great. Thank you!!
It's a real treat seeing the two parts being played side by side. So ornate... Like a pair of freaked-out spiders

My hands hurt just watching this. Good job. Hard to believe King Crimson played this live.

it takes discipline to play this
I'm a guitarist . That looks like work. I'll leave it to you guys and Rockin Robbie. Great job !
So cool
The brilliance of King Crimson
Absolutely. It's deeply hopeful but at the same time extraordinarily sad.
Impressive. I’d try learning this stuff but I just don’t have the discipline
Wow, fantastic. A good workout for both hands.
Just wtf my dude. Masterfully played.
Just awesome...really appreciate your devotion to the integrity and accuracy of their work in all of your covers.
one of the greatest cover of the song! And I think I heard each one on UA-cam. Congrats!
Please cover "Sheltering sky".
Phenomenal
incredible
well done
Amazing work, sir. There’s a reason why this will NOT be part of the Beat Tour set list…
thank you for this visual
great job! can someone explain to me the time signature's for each part? having trouble to count. thanks in advance!

@@astroguitar thats helpful. thanks alot. cheers
....and if that's not confusing enough, the drums and bass play in 17/4.
Nailed it - wow
this really made me smile - thanks
Who the hell gave this a thumbs-down??
Great work! Thank you for sharing.
Assurdo, complimenti
Awesome!

Thank you for your comment.
The backing track is a tonal adjustment of the original track.
Amazing!
the best cover. perfect👍
Quite phenomenal indeed !
So please, keep going !
Wonderful. I’ve been working with the recently published transcription, but your fingerings are far more logical and playable.
Incredible!
You should do a clinic on crosspicking. That must be brutal on your right wrist.
hi, can i use your cover to make my own cover with my drums?😊

Great
Tremendo
nice!
Great job 😁
incredible
BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!BRAVO
Fantastic. Keep up the good work. ;)
Very nice
Bravo!
Exciting play, very enjoyble! What`s the tuning on the guitars? Thanks for this cover!
Both are normal tuning
How did you get that tone? Sounds very close to the album
Just add a little compressor and a little chorus
Fantastic!
nice job! ;)
We need some tabs right here! 😂
Imagine how much better you’d play if your 4th finger was independent from your 3rd
This is fantastic! Do you have a tab for both parts?
I'm sorry I don't have it

I use ableton Live for sound recording and Adobe Premiere for video editing
Sick! Do you use the 4th tuning for the fripp part or standard. I'm trying to learn it and both are challenging in their own way.
I use 4th tuning in some cover videos, but it was very difficult to use in this song.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What were the tabs for this?
wwwヤバイw
Tutorial plz
Bro tell me pls, whats efect??
I'm using a UAD amp simulator to add a little compressor and chorus.
So you had to go in the deep end eh, couldn't do some Status Quo or Nickelback?
sorry
I don't know those groups
