If you really want to do this, then you're correct There ain't nothing on this earth that you'll be afraid of The only truth we have It's in our bodies so true and so beautiful
It really is! My absolute favorites (while the first 2 are not in order as my mind cannot seem to wrap itself around the notion on numbering greatness) are THE HEALING, REAL TALK, and V.A.L.I.S....the truth. Oh, and speaking of...you can add that to this here list.
Glad to see there's more Strokes fans out there :) What I would recommend would be to check all there albums since many good songs like "You only live once", "Reptilia" and "Under the cover of darkness" are spread across all there albums. Also check some of there B-Sides like "Hawaii" which are really good and can be found by looking them up on youtbube. And yeah "This is it" is indeed awesome :D

Good point, but Little Thoughts and Two More Years were released on the deluxe edition of Silent Alarm. I'm sure songs like this will probably have something similar.
Just as Four was just released, there was an option to purchase the "normal" edition or the "deluxe" version...same as other albums. Perhaps you did not purchase the bonus track version. The 2 bonus tracks are Leaf Skeleton and Mean are on Four. And let me say, MEAN is extremely Nice!
ah now that would be HAM! athough i think chinese burn's riff was used to bass the solo in like eating glass, scratch that, they were made at about the same time ug nm xx
I'm just glad they got some of their old stuff out, even if it's just as a B-Side, although, i wish it could've been Chinese Burn instead; that song is the sex.
Same here, although that might just be the American version of the album. I'm not sure if Little Thoughts was ever included on any British version of the album.
well, the one line. Just because "this is not a competition" shares a line with "so here we are", does not mean they were the same, but i see where your coming from
listen to the demo, its a lot easier for me to udnerstand because im on the forum and there is a thread for this and EVERYBODY agrees and comments, so i know liek a mash of oppinions, and it just matches perfectly
uh, not really... why woulod they make a song just like a song that already officially exists? And Kele even said himself he would like to officially record LOTP, and now were here. Tulips is to Tulipish
As much as I love this song, I can't stand the static that comes in when the guitar starts playing. That annoys the hell out of me and I'm surprised they didn't remove it.
i wish they said 'life of the party' atleast once...
like tulips, so here we are, and this modern love all wrapped up in one. LOVEIT.
Always a great tune from block partay:) happy sounding guitaring and matt tongs drumming is bang on:)
Gordon killing it on this track!
"Life of the party" anyone?
Cain Said To Abel is one of my fave bloc songs!
Yes!
"Bloc Party's lyrics make you feel like you're floating on a cloud of ecstasy"
I have to agree that this is completely true.
If you really want to do this, then you're correct
There ain't nothing on this earth that you'll be afraid of
The only truth we have
It's in our bodies

Bloc Party, How you make my day better Everyday.
"Nearly any band on earth has great songs that aren't on their albums." SO true.
But as far as American indie bands... we have none. lol.
I bought the musikexpress too, Lean and Straight thru cru are so amazing!! I just love the More Four EP
It really is! My absolute favorites (while the first 2 are not in order as my mind cannot seem to wrap itself around the notion on numbering greatness) are THE HEALING, REAL TALK, and V.A.L.I.S....the truth. Oh, and speaking of...you can add that to this here list.
Again, I love the b-sides more than 80% of the actual album. Bloc Party, you...
Closest thing to "Life of the Party" :(
Sounds just like the early days. I'm talking pre-Silent Alarm days here.
SKELETON! How could you miss that one :)
Glad to see there's more Strokes fans out there :) What I would recommend would be to check all there albums since many good songs like "You only live once", "Reptilia" and "Under the cover of darkness" are spread across all there albums. "this is not a competition" was actually taken apart and used to make "so here we are" but your point still stands
Yes. Bands like Foals and TV On the Radio.
Bloody killing it!
FUCK YEA. Foals just got a new fan!
I love all their songs but "Tron" is my favorite b-side.
Good point, but Little Thoughts and Two More Years were released on the deluxe edition of Silent Alarm. I'm sure songs like this will probably have something similar.
Why this is off Four? This song is freakin' amazing!
Yeah, it fits perfectly with the Angel Range demo
Wow, that was different.. but it was awesome!!
Are you serious? because it is. I bought another copy the other day (because I'm cool enough to have like 8 copies), and it's track #10.
Or Kate Bush. Kele did say that one song that would define him as a person would be 'Hounds Of Love'
You're absolutely right
any chance we could get a 320kps mp3 of this track? sorry if i double-posted. really love this tune, and don't live in Germany :(
this is a great the cure love song
THE PRESENT! And even though you have it there, SKELETON has to be said again! Oh, and Say it Right
ah now that would be HAM! athough i think chinese burn's riff was used to bass the solo in like eating glass, scratch that, they were made at about the same time ug nm xx
I'm just glad they got some of their old stuff out, even if it's just as a B-Side, although, i wish it could've been Chinese Burn instead; that song is the sex.

Little Thoughts is in the Silent Alarm
well, the one line. Just because "this is not a competition" shares a line with "so here we are", does not mean they were the same, but i see where your coming from
Only on the bonus edition, not on the original album that was released
listen to the demo, its a lot easier for me to udnerstand because im on the forum and there is a thread for this and EVERYBODY agrees and comments, so i know liek a mash of oppinions, and it just matches perfectly
It was a bonus track on the UK release. So it's kind of subjective.
Your probably right. I wouldn't know because I'm not from the UK.
:) I bet that was the best thing you've ever bought with hard earned money, wasn't it?
hey man, any possible way we could get a nice 320kps rip of this track? living in america has its disadvantages... ;)
How do you guys not realize this is a modern version of "Life Of The Party" -,-
Have you got the actual EP that you could put up for download ? I'd buy it, but i'm kinda not from Germany :(
Oops. "Tron" isn't one of their b-sides. Disregard that.
ash now i turn it up i can hear it!
Life of the party turned into Tulips, this sounds more like a Tulips part two
when's the EP out?!
FUCK DEBATING! I LOVE BLOC PARTY!
any chance you can send me a high quality mp3 of this?
...storm and stress?
Is this song on the album?
uh, not really... why woulod they make a song just like a song that already officially exists?
And Kele even said himself he would like to officially record LOTP, and now were here.

Sorry buddy that's where you've got it wrong, there all as good as each other.
As much as I love this song, I can't stand the static that comes in when the guitar starts playing. That annoys the hell out of me and I'm surprised they didn't remove it.
