did you use sony godox trigger? I found mine to be glitchy with zv-1 and often misfires 9 times out of 10. I suspect it was because it's using the leaf shutter?
@@ericfernando4296 I used a normal trigger yes. Maybe it’s faulty
Do you think smartphones are outperforming the more traditional DSLR-type cameras nowadays? If so have you or would you consider doing future photoshoots with a high-end smartphone?
Nope not even close. As far as sharpness and resolution comes yes. But there’s no replacement for a 1.4 lens. Portrait modes are getting better but still have a fake look to them. Also things like low light photography like weddings and stuff your phone won’t cope. They getting very clever and they have replaced the point and shoot era. Even the zv1 can be replaced by a phone. But a full frame camera is worlds better than a phone. Maybe one day if they put a bigger sensor in it and give you a lens attachment option.
I think editing software will make phones viable before phones on their own are viable.
@@OpticalNoise Thanks for your perspective appreciate it, so I'm no expert but I do know the ropes regarding DSLRs. Is there any camera and maybe accompanying kit that you could recommend for someone wanting to take their photography to the next level? Let's say mid-level kit in terms of price.
@@920400706 for me iv been loving the Sony zve10. Great stills great video and it’s not so expensive. Then I bought a sigma 56mm 1.4 we use this kit for low light dance photography
My main kit is a a7iv and a7c. Which are amazing but more moola. Budget wise the Sony zve10 is so good. The kit lens will be equivalent or better than the zv1 anyways and similar price. With the option to get new lenses
