I never hold back tears, I do some at first lol, but nah I'll let it out, and never have I had a anyone think I'm weak or whatever, but I'm not an average male and there's no question lol, plus usually I get angry when I start crying or whatever, growl and crap lol, for as far as females it'll usually break them... especially when they know I'd hunt someone down for them or whatever being their protector, same as guys....I hold everything on my shoulders for anyone close to me...same for animals lol which I'm guessing why I'm so good with animals, especially dogs, even if not mine, or little kids the parents aren't the best of taking care of

Man having served for 5 years, I've lost one of my closest buddies form suicide while we were in Afghanistan,being a veteran it's hard man, when they tell you, you have PTSD, anxiety, depression, it hits you different, this song man, this song is a master peace.
I know you posted this 2 months ago but living in the same area I wanted to get in my car and come give you a fucking hug. I'm not sure what was harder to hear the song or that you didn't think you were worth enough. I may not know you personally but you are a human being no person should ever believe they are worthless. God loves all his children and each one of us matter to him. God knew what he was doing when he gave you your son. Becoming a parent makes the world look different the big things don't seem so big and the small things become much more important. You seem like a good man the fact you took the time to go to parenting classes speaks volumes. Always remember you will never be worthless to your son and he will always need you even when he's 60. ❤ 🇺🇲

As a single mother with 3 kids I had to learn how to be a man and it was super hard to try and keep up. My boys needed things it was difficult to provide. From working 2 jobs to provide, sports, fixing vehicles, household repairs/ remodeling, protecting my daughter, and much much more. With my father a veteran also and brother over 1500 miles away through it all. Luckily, I was able to have them during the summer to take over the role. I feel you. I too have been depressed (...) Most my single life. There is too much weight and society's expectation. BIG hands up to all men who can carry the weight. Don't let self-care slide. You can't do the job without it. ❤

Older Army Vet here and when I first heard this song I didn't realize how close to the surface this is.I wanted all women to hear it and listen and understand. Life is hard when you carry the weight as expected every single day. My mother said to support your wife's feelings and dreams above my own. Tell her only what she needs to know is what my father told me. Sometimes it hard being on that wall but I do it proudly. Sometimes its hard when the hard times come which are more often than not it seems. The Army taught us to complete the mission so my family has always been mine. Keep Strong Brother you got it!

Older Army Vet here and when I first heard this song I didn't realize how close to the surface this is.I wanted all women to hear it and listen and understand. Life is hard when you carry the weight as expected every single day. My mother said to support your wife's feelings and dreams above my own. Tell her only what she needs to know is what my father told me. Sometimes it hard being on that wall but I do it proudly. Sometimes its hard when the hard times come which are more often than not it seems. The Army taught us to complete the mission so my family has always been mine. Keep Strong Brother you got it!
