You have a great heart. To see a woman come to realization of what men go through AND to see that woman understand it and appreciate it, it's the best thing to see. It gives me a comforting feeling and tells me that it IS ok to feel the way that I do.
As a man I felt unappreciated most of the time. As though all the time and effort; the long work hours and not getting enough sleep were just expected. On top of it all coming home to find the house trashed, and being expected to help clean after a long work day because we were "a team". I almost ended it all because I felt that life wasn't worth living. Now I FINALLY found a woman who never fails to show her appreciation. She wanted nothing for Christmas this last year because she told me "everything you do for me is a gift." Guys, please don't give up. If I had, I'd have never found the greatest love of my life. Be strong. Support each other. Love you guys.
Brother I'm right there with you. When my ex told me she wanted a divorce I was devastated. I tried to be strong for my kids but I found myself drunk daily... I almost ended it also. But then, I met the person I'm with now. And finally, for the first time in 20 years, I actually feel loved, appreciated, and cared for. I was taken for granted for 20yrs and never felt appreciated after all I did. I too am happy I didn't end it. Not only do my kids need me, but I would have missed out on finally being happy. Stay strong, bros.
Also, you pausing the video and mentioning how you just wanna call your dad and talk to him... that was so endearing and adorable ❤ youve earned my sub 😊
The men in your life are always talking to you but often without words. Our hope is that you are truly listening to us with your heart and not just your eyes and ears. Simple creatures we are.
What i have learned about the reason y so many men bury their emotions deep within is because the moment they show their vulnerable side is because it becomes a weapon to be used against him at a later point in time
This is the MEGA remix, There is an original with just Dax and a music video. He shared a sound clip on Tiktok for people to write their own verse and these people in the video are some the submissions.
If you didn't do it right after you filmed this video, do it now. Call your father. Time is precious and fleeting and we're not guaranteed anything. It's not easy being a man. That's not to say being a woman is easy. I don't think it's easy at all. All I'm saying is that we need to remind the men in our lives how much they matter. I'm a guy and this song always hits me like a baseball bat in the stomach when I hear it. I have amazing parents and took them for granted for way too long. When I got to be an adult I was able to see what it means to be a good man in this world. My father worked for literally my entire life to give my sister and I what we needed and never let us hear him cry or complain or speak to my mother in a bad way. He's the most amazing human being I know. As I'm sure your father is to you. Give him a call.
It's not that we are not taught to not express our feeling , its when we do it some women lose respect, so we don't , we express our feeling with our close friend group all the time, at least ig you have good friend that care .
It's not a "taught to hide emotion" thing for probably most men, at least in the western world. It's FAR more of a "we are punished, mocked, or criticized every time we do it" problem. And you might be horrified by the number of times the women you THINK would be there for the men in their lives who are the worst ones to do it.
I loved this reaction, this song deff speaks volumes to so many of us out there and I know 100% so many times I wanted it to just be over, but my 2 kids keep me moving...
Here is a list of the artists in order of appearance: 1. Atlus 2, Ben Becker 3. The Mediary 4. Hailey Dayton 5. Brutha Rick 6. Phix 7. Skywalker DaVinci 8. Shane Fraenkel 9. TheGreatWhite 10. Kaveman Brown This is the megamix, the original version of the song is definitely worth checking out as well. Excellent reaction. This song moves me emotionally every time I hear it.
Thanks for reacting to this! I grew up in a progressive culture that made a big deal about how men should be able to share their feelings. My entire life, the people who preached this value would turn around and make fun of men who shared their feelings. Girls we are interested in will lose respect for us, because they all want men who will be their rock. Men in our lives often won't have patience for our feelings either. And this all serves a purpose. We harden men because life is hard, and life isn't going to pull any punches. They need to be able to stand on their own. No one is coming to save us. We are expected to throw ourselves on the grenade to save our brothers. We are expected to sacrifice ourselves for the women and children. We are raised to be the heroes other people can lean on. And some of us break under that pressure. It doesn't change the fact that men need to be resilient to survive out here. They beat the weakness out of us because weakness doesn't have what it takes to survive. I don't know what the answer to this problem is. What I do know is that my wife can sleep soundly at night because I'm the one white knuckling it trying not to kill myself under the pressure. She can't save me, but I can save her if I stay strong.
3:23 is the moment that i saw on ur face that this song was gonna break u just a little bit i was the same way when i heard both this song and depression #ICANTFINDMYSELF
Love your reaction, this is how a lot of men feel, ill be watching you , check out Tom MacDonald, he has done colabs with Dax , your channel will blow up with views ,
I think its a slight misconception, people tell men not to be emotional, but i think thats bcuz its easier than teaching them about “controlling emotions.” Emotions are fine, when theyre valid.
There's a video on UA-cam how soldiers fights with a knife in Ukrain, and neither asked to be there but that is what we men do. We do what must be done even when it's very ugly. The last word of the dying Ukrainian soldier to the Russian "you were the best fighter, please left me so I can die alone". The Russian respected this wish and left. That is what it is to be a man. Protect and provide. Much love!
To me the whole "feeling" conversation is very complex....I get where you're coming from but yeah complicated and nuances...glad still can feel tho, keep that innocence
Hi could you please 🙏 check out my Homie Playboy The Beast "Bout that Life" Or " F Peace" .. not asking for a react , they are audio only videos , just want to turn ya onto him ... he is awesome 🔥 Thank you so much if you tap in .
Call your dad, I never was able to say goodbye before he died. Saying I love you is so important before he dies. 😢

Ty your reaction means a lot to me
I have to remind my wife every month to call her Dad. She talks to her Mom nearly daily. This is the contrast most men face.
The men in your life are always talking to you but often without words. Our hope is that you are truly listening to us with your heart and not just your eyes and ears. Simple creatures we are.
definitely call your father, for no reason but to talk, it will mean more than you can possibly know
