- Callum Walsh a Irish Boxing Prospect, has not long ago been signed by Dana White. Alongside this has been him featuring on UFC Fight Pass "Hollywood Fight Nights", with this Dana has been getting more involved with what was considered previously as filler boxing for the fight pass. We look at whats currently going on, the history of Danas involvement and what we could potentially see in the future.
Damn… these boxers are gonna be paid in peanuts and can’t fight other boxers outside the UFC contract.

@@Manuel_Chinaski that’s a poor attitude my bro. Our aim is supposed to be to lift UFC fighters’ pay UP to the level of boxers, not drag boxers DOWN to the level of UFC fighters. Boxers aren’t overpaid, how they are paid is how it SHOULD be where the fighters get most of the money when people buy tickets to see the fights. Dana is corrupt.

@@Manuel_Chinaski you might be a fight fan but you obviously don’t train. The work fighters do is not the few minutes under the bright lights. It’s the hundreds and thousands of hours pounding at the gym. It’s the hundred and thousands of sparring rounds, which is where CTE actually comes from. There are a lot of sacrifices made beyond the reach of onlookers’ eyes, my friend. I don’t know what you do for a living, but I sure as hell hope you are being compensated fairly for your troubles. If you are not, you should try to get yourself paid for what you are worth, instead of petitioning that others get their pay lowered to match your level.

Dana established zuffa boxing when golden boy launched their MMA promotion. If I recall correctly at the time they signed Mikey Garcia and were working on a few others. But I think it all got pushed aside when they decided to sell to endeavour.

Great video. But I have to disagree on the current state of boxing. Massive fights being made, cards are absolutely stacked. Big fight weekend after weekend. Showtime didn't just pull out a boxing they pulled out of all sports.

Honestly if they did it would be good to me because boxing needs some regulation and unified rules, it’s a joke the stipulations boxers need to accept fights, soy ass sport, boxing with unified rules and guys needing to fight the best would fix the sport… and less corruption

Boxing has a very long History, it is more dramatic when the opposition is there as there is no way to > through another tool during the fight, it is only punches.
Most people who dont like Boxing doesnt know the sport as well : there are many big names nowadays in Boxing but those big names are not necessarly proven or that good .. lesser known names can be much more exciting to watch.
Again, when Boxing is done right, there is nothing better .. and its Icons are beyond the most well known in all combat sport.
I personnaly find muay thai and Kick Boxing boring as the only aspect of fighting i am interesting in is Punching 😊
There's no fight in Muay Thai or Kickboxing that can surpass what Boxing has done, Boxing is just more technical and iconic than those 2.

this wont happen because then the ufc would have to submit to the ali act and allow their mma fighters to be bid on by other promotions and delegitimize their own championship rankings and submit to an outside sanctioning body for title fights.
