Have to say I enjoy watching your videos. Having been in consumer sales since 1979, I can say your presentation skills are quite impressive Tomi. I have purchased many cars & trucks by locating them on the internet. I laugh when the sales rep says we can finalize an out the door price when I come into their offices - travel hundreds of miles and once in their showroom, I've basically given up all buying "leverage" I had while at my home. When I agree to by the vehicle, I make it very clear to the salesperson I'm bringing a certified check for the truck and necessary fees. I will NOT be buying paint protection, fabric protection, extended warranties, etc. Last car I bought for me son had the dealership owner tell me that my approach to buying was rather smart.

I have dealerships in my area offering me 8-9k back from msrp and no add ons, just TTL and doc fee. 2. He gave you a blowout deal so that he could still get that clout and shoutout on SM. And the dealership was able to cut their losses. Negotiating a tundra deal is child’s play. Now if you could get below invoice on a sienna, Land Cruiser or an actually hot selling car, then we talking real negotiation skills.
Plenty of dealerships are advertising 8-9k off on these cars with rebates included. That would equate to a 5-7k discount. This was a 10k discount. So a big difference. The last dealership did not get his name on social media, and never once got a "shout out". He was watching my stream and called me to get the deal. He has never once got a shout out before, just wanted to sell the car. I do most my deals live. Land Cruiser we just did 3k off on live. That will be coming to a video soon. Siennas I get about 500-1k off. This is an incredible deal in the market today.

I love playing em against each other with the same inventory number. That's an entertaining day. I once called 2 Nissan dealers back on the 5th of july 2005 for $500 less each time until I got the Murano for 31k, down from 38k. The dealer that DIDN'T have the car said "I can"t go any lower because I have to go get the car to sell it to you". I called the guy that had it back, and lied, and he lowered it another thousand.
@@rogergeyer9851 What? What does it matter? Sales people lie ALL the time. If they can cut the deal, it doesn't matter why they don't do it. They're literally lying to EVERY other person they sell a car to by charging more than they're willing to sell it for. Go into a burger king and tell them the other burger king is selling it for the same price, can they beat it? Get the best deal you can because that's exactly what the dealership is doing, but even at the best deal they're still making money and moving inventory regardless of how it might hit their commission.

In the Seattle area they are offering maybe almost 10 percent off tsrp, not msrp on the tundra i force. So that’s about 7k at the most and even less in the regular tundra
I don’t think so. That’s happened to me. I tried to buy a Corolla hatchback XSE for my son. I went twice to the dealer and they don’t want to sell me the car. A lot of dealers don’t want to sell cars if you not willing to pay them what they ask ridiculous.
I finally learned if they don't want to come down, at ANY point in the deal, they are famous for taking away in the beginning to get you in the door and get you there for a few hours to work you down, then at the end in financing they add back with "fees", or high interest, jokes on them I come with my credit union interest that is 1/4 what they are offering, and if they don't want to come down or take away those fees, then now I just walk out calmly and say sorry we can't come to an agreement and sorry you can't take away this added rediculous fees. But I also have a list of backups with the exact truck I will be buying. My point is always know that is not the only one like that vehicle and you can get one exactly like it shipped to your house from another dealer, for cheaper. So if they add to the price or wont come down just leave and tell them where you are going and after you get it, go back to that dealership and show that salesperson and salesmanager the paperwork and say I hope next time we can make a deal. Getting mad never helps and getting a cheaper price is winning enough, no point in being a bad winner.
They're only doing that deal because Tomi can keep using their dealership for his clients. They won't do it for the customers who buy once every 10 years.
