I've heard that people put these bodies on the SCX24 chassis, and it's a great idea. It's something I may have done myself if I hadn't seen this for sale. I don't think it's being a cheap skate either. These new are way over priced and I've refused to buy one. But I only paid a third of that for this lightly used one from eBay, complete with everything except the box. Apart from a few minor scuffs on the pumpkins it looks practically new.
Hi Derek, Beautiful Mini Crawler. Love the suspension action over the garden rocks. Looks like England and the USA tied. It was a good game. I always cheer for England when they are not playing the States. Take care Derek!
Hi Derek! That's an excellent looking little crawler mate, the body is gorgeous, especially for this scale where most are like jelly moulds! Love the Union Jack! Hope all is well my friend. 🙃✌🤝👍
😄 Jelly moulds made me laugh mate 😄. But you are right about the body on this. It's one of the best I've seen on a micro, and has a very nice detailed interior. It's a hard body too. I guess that's reflected in the price of these new. I paid a third of that for this so I'm a very happy chappie. Thank you very much for watching Mark, and have a good weekend.
Thank you very much. This version with the black D90 body is discontinued, but there's a blue D90 with white wheels, a grey Jeep, an orange Jeep, and a yellow Bronco, which are available from Wheelspin. Personally I think a new one is over priced at £279 to £314, depending on which hard body you get. I've liked them since they were released but would never pay that price for one. I got this on Sunday for a third of the price on eBay. It's been lightly used, in mint condition, and came complete with everything included that you get with a new one, except the official box. Happy days!
That was a joy to watch! Last video I watched was a 78 mph speedrun, so it was good to get the pace down a bit. Looks really nice this one, I got the impression that RC4WD is really high quality! I'm quite happy that now Traxxas and Axial have joined on 18th scale, hopefully it becomes popular, I am watching out if Element makes one also, I might join the fun... This was nice Saturday morning entertainment for sure, have a great weekend there, mate!
Thank you very much. I'm happy you enjoyed it. It's quite small for a 1/18 scale RC and I think it should be called a 1/24 scale. I've seen this D90 body on the Axial SCX24 chassis. Element have four 1/24 scale micros but they use the same chassis as the FTX Outback Mini 3.0 Ranger (RGT V2 Adventurer). Have a nice weekend my friend.
Thank you very much my friend. No, the garden was already like that years before I got into the hobby. We're both getting old and it's low maintenance, and a good testing area for my RC's 😀👍🏼
Yup I agree I think it looks pretty amazing. Sorry to hear about the ESC but I guess not completely surprised. BUT a couple little changes and that can change. :) Great run my friend. I would like to know where some of these rigs get their scale size?? This doesn't look 1/18th. Thumbs up brother. :)
Hi Nick. Thank you my friend. Scale sizing seems to be very hit and miss these days. People buy this 1/18 body and fit it to 1/24 scale Axial SCX24 chassis. This D90 is only a tiny bit bigger than my 1/24 Deadbolt which has larger wheels! I'll email you some photos I took for comparison. But the detailing on the RC4WD body is excellent. It's literally a scaled down version of my 1/10 scale RC4WD D90 and has a very scale interior too. I have a different esc on order which I'm going to try. Someone put in theirs and said it improved the slow speed throttle response. It will be interesting to see if it makes a difference.
Good looking little truck
Hi Brent. Thank you very much. It's certainly is. I love it !
Great looking defender. Really nice detail. I bought one of these bodies to go on an SCX24 being a cheap skate! 😁

Cool run and what beautiful scale detailing. I never knew RC4WD did micro crawlers.

Very nice, great clean lines nice rig
Thank you very much Julian 🙂👍🏼
Does go nice over the pebbles, nice articulation it seem to have.
Thanks Mal. It was nice to get a break from the rain to do this run.
Great little rc👌🏽🔥
Thank you very much my friend 🙂👍🏼
Great run. Had you thought of this usage when you made this garden😉
