For me, the Opus 88 Mini is the best pen to throw into a bag and not worry about leakage. As well, this means you're able to carry a truly good fountain pen with you. I carry two: one with a medium nib and the other with a 1.4 stub. It took me a long time to find the ideal quality fountain pen for EDC. For me, THIS IS IT! I am a bit of an Opus 88 fanboy, but these are truly the most stylish, rugged, functional pens I have found.
I feel ya. The only thing is, I can’t bring myself to toss it into a bag. I fear scratching or scuffing it because the art work on the surface. I’m sure it’s resilient to minor scratches, but my bag has a lot of hard rough edges.
I don't need any more Opus 88 fountain pens, as I already have about nine of them. But I'm a sucker for good celestial artwork. P S. -- The new set looks good to me, and I like the shorter length of your videos
