- Fellow vegan bakers, this is a vegan sandwich loaf that will not disappoint you. Despite no egg, no butter, the loaf taste so fluffy soft! Give it a try and leave me a comment on your feedback!

~Recipe yields 2 sandwich loaves~
Ingredients (sweet stiff starter)
60g starter
180g high protein flour
80g water
30g sugar
Ingredients (dough)
350g high protein flour
110g wholemeal flour
40g sugar
8g salt
330g plant milk
30g olive oil
All the sweet stiff starter

Hi Autumn Kitchen I tried the recipe yesterday & it turn out nice & soft. Only thing it tasted a bit sour. I used soy milk & rye flour
Wholegrain flour (rye, spelt, whole-wheat etc) usually will be more sour than white flour

I'm trying this recipe again causezst time didn't go too well, and for some reasons this time the dough looks very nice! The windowpane is looking good and dough already very stretchy. It's currently proofing for 2 hours... So I'll see later how it goes.

Hi there is no egg wash for this bread. Snipping the dough just for asthetic, you can skip it without any issue 😉😊
