I have a good friend that is a drummer, black metal/heavy metal. He read a study that drummers often is compared to professional athletes when it comes to endurance. I can tell, because he is also in great shape, like El Estepario Siberiano ;)
My favorite thing about this guy is that he is able to play with such a high level of technique while still making listenable drum tracks. Some drummers are so technical it just ends up sounding like impressive noise.

i think they’re more worried about finding a drummer that can for live shows lol. i get it because i played drums my whole life and recently started playing guitar and singing so all of our recorded drum parts are me and so live we struggle to find any drummers that will play the part lol

I have played drums since I was 6 years old so I can clearly confirm this man is what you get when you really hang into something and try to get better every single day ! And even if he does not believe in it he has to have a decent amount of talent but still talent is not a vip ticket to getting this good. You have to put everything in it!
I have also played since I was 6 and can play pretty much anything at this point being 34, but this guy has some of the best improv grooves and fills. Such a talent, and you're right, if you stick with something for the years that it takes to get good you can really enjoy the passion of it
I've whacted this dudes videos hundreds of times and most of the times I feel like there is lag between video and sound but then I realized it's only happening in this dudes videos. Than I get another realization there is no lag, just my brain cannot comprehend what's going on. This guy is total amazement package.
I've always had a nack for rhythm, and as a guitarist always loved drummers who play to the music like Jimmy Chamberlain, Dave Grohl or Joey Jordison. Estepario makes you listen hard to appreciate the complexity of what he is doing. This man, in my humble opionion, is currently the worlds best drummer.

Every video I see of yours I can't help but get my feet going to a double kick, and my arms flailing like I'm hitting the snare and cymbals and toms. I'm happy to say I've recovered. To me, the originals are so boring after he covers them. He takes the original song to a whole new level.

Grandioso despliegue de talento desde el principio. Pero cuando al final había que dar un subidón de intensidad para acompañar a la guitarra y la voz, ya no se notó porque la batería estuvo intensa desde el principio. Es mi apreciación simplemente.
