From what i can see cpu heavy games will lean toward 5600x but gpu dependent maybe around 15-30fps better for zen3 Ryzen 2700 shud be good for 144hz 1080p gaming tho,by looking at that warzone numbers
Thank you. This is what I was need. I have a 2700 and it's awesome but yes. Some games have troubling with 144fps. GTA V really bothers me about it. Really is single core dependent to achieve 144fps avg.
Happy that I had found this video. I will continue to use the 2700 until Zen 4 is released. By then the price of the 5000 series should drop even further. 😁
Is it worth upgrading from a 2700x now? Because I really don't want to buy an AM5 set for $500+ just because my CPU can't keep up I have a 4060ti if that helps with the question
Damn i'm really going to have to consider my temps before upgrading because those 5600x temps where kind of ridiculous in comparison to the 2700 almost 20c higher! like holy shit
Those temps are fine, these new chips are designed up to 95 degrees however you don’t wanna be reaching that really but 70 degrees is fine when underload, you can always undervolt the cpu iswell if your uncomfortable with those temps :)
Thank you so much. I have a 2700 paired with my 3060Ti, which is similar to your 2080S. I felt like I was getting bottlenecked in some of my games and your video confirmed my suspicion. Just look at the GPU usage! I really need that single core performance, the 2700 is holding me back in CPU heavy titles. I'll definitely see about getting a 5600X.
@@OdinHardware Yeah! Would you believe me that, when I told supposed PC enthusiasts about my problem, nearly all of them doubted me? Yeah! @@OdinHardware Ok. Games need to optimize more for old 8 cores cpus. I have a Ryzen Threadripper 1920X and 12 cores are not good for gaming, because they are slow by today's standards.

Damn, been running 2700 since late 2018 but it looks like it might be time to upgrade, either to Zen 4 or secondhand market Zen 3 cpus that drop in price when that happens. Thanks for this
It's really worth to upgrade if you have the 5700xt? I'm trying to get as much out from the GPU but in some games the 5700 won't go over 69-70% usage :/
@@zhila5958 I saved the money and got mine 2700 to stable 4.2ghz. I think best you can do is wait for prices to drop unless you need 1080p/144fps but not a thing with a 5700...

Yes, single core performance is great with 5600x and 2700 will surely limit higher fps in games like gta 5,
can we set 1 core of 2700 to constant 4Ghz to solve this issue
