- Following on with the JDM theme at the minute, this time we take a look at something incredibly special - an imported DC5 Integra Type R that's been restored with exceptional attention to detail.

Absolutely beautiful! This example is giving me a few ideas for my very own DC5 Type R. 🥰
That engine is insane! Attention to detail is legit. I actually spoke to Josh and yourself at Japfest whilst drooling over that bay :) You came and had a nose at my little project EJ9 aswell which was cool. Very nicely edited video, and a lovely car, will be next level with an external respray aswell :)

Mkaes me miss mine , i build 2 of them a 03 model and a 06 model , both were feature in some magazines , this is all around the 07 time or so . i was big on clubrsx , i wonder if its still around . .
I've just bought a 25k mile championship white dc5. And although the underside is mint..i now feel I have to pull back the underside and respray it.

what cameras are you using quality is bang on
i also do youtube got a canon m50 but the quality is a bit naff now
I love the look of bonnet vents but I always worry about the engine getting soaked in the rain.
We didn't get the rsx type R in America
If you used aftermarket cams with that specific set up you would be pushing nearer to the 300hp mark
I think this is on the cards early next year!
That’s the goal. Already spoken to an engine builder who will be doing the work. Springs, Retainers, Flat Faced Valves and some Stage 2 Cams. 👍🏼
What are the wheels and specs?
Lovely motor and vid 👍 but nowhere close, I spotted several tiny panel imperfections in the first 60 seconds 🤷
Thanks! Full respray is coming in December this year to sort any paint imperfections.

@@celliott16 I can assure you. The underside is cleaner than 99% of DC5’s in the UK. Then again, good job I didn’t do it for anyone else. 😊
