I'm very sorry for him that he lost a leg... it's obviously a terrible thing to happen. He won a lot of money because of it. I'm very sorry for him that he lost a leg... it's obviously a terrible thing to happen. He won a lot of money because of it. No amount of money can bring back your organic body part.... but I'm so happy for him that he won such a large amount of money. This was fate in an odd sort of way.
I have a large amount of money, but it doesn't cure my early-onset arthritis (very painful) but having money does help with ongoing treatment/hospital bills/doctors visits etc.
Winning something in a show like this is always a confidence booster. I'm very happy for him.
Well maybe eventually an amount of money could. I know if I had a trillion dollars and a missing leg you'd better believe there's be some major advances in personal organic prosthetics in a hurry.
But regardless totally agree. Good on him for getting the 125k.
I was so hoping he was right god bless him well deserved 👏👏👏👏👏👏
It’s a good job you only used one p in hoping as well !! 🤣
.......after my husband lost his leg in a microlight accident 32 years ago .... saw the lawyer afterward to pursue suing the hospital for negligence and was told 'you haven't got a leg to stand on' ... funny but not funny.
Try to help someone...get sued. The joy of the current age we live in.
Tax payer to pay for his microlight negligence
@@dddddbbb loosing a leg due to negligence is not helping someone. It took 6 months before amputation. Dressings were not changed and the experimental cross over flap went rotten. He was a young man.
@@conradcodfish8638 no. When you have an accident and the resulting hospital care is negligent than that means the hospital should be held accountable. Rotten flesh and dirty dressings mean someone is not doing their job.
Haha
Before you come down to the comments to claim it’s set up, it’s not!
Source: we produced it 😎
It’s staged 👍🤡
Yeah I know its not Gaz is a good friend of myne lives 10 minutes from me 😂
Yeah, that's exactly what I'd expect a sus production company to say 🤣
Source: because I said so. Nice source. Staged.
Can confirm. Source: My dad works at Nintendo.
Watching the man’s walk as he exited is what impressed me most. His walk looked so natural. You can only imagine how much work that took. Serious kudos there.
That’s some slumdog millionaire stuff right there! What a coincidence
I doubt it's a coincidence. They were making a big deal about his leg throughout, so this is clever scripting.
@@EffableLemming they are not allowed to script gameshows.
so well-deserved. lovely guy.
It's good to see Clarkson is still kicking on tv over there, I miss top gear
Appropriate choice of words
Is it not a telling about the values of ITV that, while Clarkson kicks and insults women and people of other races, they continue to pay him as a presenter?
@@antispindr8613 What is a woman?
Okay, Mr Petrol Head needlessly insulted women in general, and one woman particular.
Nooooo you can’t insult queen Megan!! Never mind that it was an innocuous GOT reference
My neighbor has the same situation with a lost leg. His tattoo has the same pointing finger but says "I'm with stupid". I was in tears the first time I saw it.
Well done 👏 mate, you deserve every penny 👍
Spoke to a guy a few years back who had a Porsche Boxster with the number plate HA 51 LEG he was in a wheel chair and yes he only had 1 leg :)
Great win and just love JC great that he took over this game show.
Full of admiration for this man
dies 5 times, loses his leg, makes an internet famous joke, and wins 125k on a question about the very place he lost his leg!
this guy is definitely the main character!
and he needs another tattoo about how he died 5 times and still made it out alive with a 2% chance!
He definitely prepared himself to go there, most people dont make it that far, props to him
Good for you buddy! Glad you're still with us!
Amazing segment - sorry about the loss of the leg - but incredible how it happened in the vicinity of Loch Ness related to the question! Likewise I knew the answer since I've long been a Loch Ness monster enthusiast and knew the name of the castle (fortunately lost no limbs in the area)...j/king. Your tattoo is amazing too...and your personality and sense of humour intact is really something. All the best...congrats on winning. Cheers!
I hate it when the crowd goes aaaaah when the candidate would have won. Even when they don't even know the answer or the question they have to pick an answer and the stupid responds comes anyway. No you've done an great job and by the looks of it it's an life changing experience for the bloke. Well done mate, enjoy it
What a lovely and amazing character this gentleman has.
“One foot in the grave”. …….hilarios!👏👏👏👏What a great sense of humour.
"Is this your final answer?"
"Just as this is my final leg."
Wow what a man,I love people who make a joke about their own misfortune it breaks the ice and gets them over awkward moments. I hope he has and still is enjoying his winnings and has a happy life
I understand how that guy feels on that last question, that’s like going all in double or nothing in poker, but with the side option to back out and keep you earned money before showing the hand… and it’s worse when you know you backed out and could’ve won that one more bet, so I felt it when he said he didn’t wanna know 😂
How to face up to adversity.
This man is my new hero❤❤❤❤❤❤
God bless our fighters. Winners. I'm crying.
I always admire people that suffer horrible mutilations like this guy and still are so positive and have a great sense of humor. I can only hope if (god forbid) I have an accident I can still mantain my humor and positive attitude
Now that’s a good old Yorkshire lad. Fantastic sense of humour and a head screwed on as straight as they come.
The one foot in the grave tat had me in stitches. Never let anyone tell you humor aint a healthy coping mechanism. Sometimes, it's what gets you through a really tough time.
When he had his accident, he didn't think it would lead to winning £125000. Every action causes a reaction.
An equal and opposite reaction.
@@TheWorldListens125k is not equal to losing your leg though, not even close
@@WreckedRectum I was just correcting the op's half use of Newton's 3rd law.
*Depends how much you price your leg for*
Have family friends in Scotland and have been fortunate enough to drive around the lochs. Been to Loch Ness and when he was describing the area I started remembering it. No Loch Ness monster. Still a beautiful place.
0:52 Great tattoo for my neighbour!
Of course the Loch Ness monster exists, it ate this lad‘s leg
He would have had a hard time kicking himself if he missed that last one.
There a guy, in Norwich, who also lost a leg in a car accident. His number plate is HA5 1 LEG
I know a chap with one leg and his plate is Y2 LEG. 😂
Wonderful!! I hope he has a fantastic time spending that money.
I didnt think it would be my favorite part, but when I seen him walk, I just was happy. Not jumping for joy but, truly just, happy.
I remember watching this as it was aired and I literally could not believe it when he said he knew it because of his crash. This is why I believe everything happens for a reason.
The reason he lost his leg is so he can win 125k on a show a few years later?
It’s more a mentality of there being a silver lining to it - an unseen benefit. Not that in the grand scheme of his life he had to lose the leg so that he could later win the money
your a bit thick
Strange Things Do Happen.......I Think He Was Rewarded For His Strength Of Character Creativity And Inspiration .........The Tattoo Is A Stroke Of Genius...... He Survived Because Of His Capacity To Inspire....He Was Already An Asset To Us All....But The Dosh Will Of Course Come In Handy.

First time watching Jeremy on who wants to be a millionaire and he suits thr role
The crowd was so dull, people are so afraid to offend others these days they can’t laugh at a simple joke. The tattoo was funny, Jeremy was funny, why is everyone so dull and cowardish?
I thought Jeremy was going to leave a joke after saying the lochness monster had been spotted there, thought he was about to say “it’s not real is it, but you never know maybe it’s just your leg floating around the lake” 😂😂😂
Almost had me in tears
Lol I thought the same thing !!
"I found a joke funny, but no one else did so they must all be cowards."
Well people end up being targeted and harassed these days for what they think was a harmless joke, so people avoid these things out of fear of being turned into some kind of villain. A simply apology and recognising your mistake should be enough, but some people cannot accept that anymore.
I'm not the biggest fan of Clarkson, but he definitely has his moments and can be funny. I thought this video was quite amusing.
"There is no but is there?"
"I only lost my leg, I've still got that!" Would have been the A+ reply
"You just won a hundred and twenty-five pounds" bruh.
Clarkson is genuinely happy for him.
That must have been an intentional question. The show's researchers wouldn't have missed that.
Fancy being asked a question for so much money about a place where he lost his leg to the Loch Ness monster. Crazy.
The producers knew what they were doing surely

I didn't see this one. Lovely man. God bless him. I hope he spent his money wisely.
I'm so happy for him, having this mindset! ❤
This guy is taking life like a champ! Side note: Clarkson on who wants to be a millionaire? He's perfect for that
Maybe only time in history a contestant wishes that they DIDN’T know the answer…
"One foot in the grave" is a brilliant tattoo, glad he's handling it well
Considering it was £125k it was a simple question to anyone who knows anything about the Loch Ness Monster.
Every single question is easy if you know answer
@@bartz4439 Yeah, but some answers are more likely to have been come across than others. Given the amount of programmes on the monster over the years, and the fact the castle always gets a mention in them, means I can't see how it's worth 125,000. Although saying that, Pat won his million answering the final question on American triple crown horse races, which to a massive racing fan should have been a £2,000 question.
@@csb7376 i had no idea what's the answer. It could be 1 quid question and had not a clue but I can give u isotope of uranium used to construct Nagasaki bomb. Dead easy.

Amazing!! The man just refused to die.
What a great piece of TV.
"your leg has gone viral"
Thankfully that wasn't a complication.
Getting that money almost cost him an arm and a leg!
As if the producers didn’t know where he lost his leg?! Just giving free money away ffs 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Even Clarkson works with box tickers.
That's more money than you get in Croatia for answering the final question. 😂 Also, God bless this guy, we need more people with his mindset.
A good sense of humour is a life saver the best medicine you can have.
The best family or friends are those that can make you cry with laughter😅.
i knew the final answer . but too risky for him .
I remember a soldier in the falklands had his leg blown off by a mortar. He was screaming I ve lost my leg. After about 10 seconds a droll voice said " its all right mate. I ve found it. Its over here.
