Absolutely pathetic. They probably are smarter than me but I couldn't live with myself lowering someone's prize by a significant amounts especially if you don't contribute in the final chase.

Yeah I think, unless you take the big offer, you should expect +/-50% (if you get more, you had good teammates and if you get less, youre being leeched off) of what you earned supposing you win - its funny these guys were telling him to go for the high offer too just so they could leech a bigger sum off him - good news is he's made it all back and then some now thst he's on the program

The chasers don't actually get paid a huge amount. I read that they only get paid if they're in an episode, and even then it isn't big bucks

Cannot believe Georgia and Michael took minus offers. Carole was clearly smart aswell, she was about 0.5 seconds behind darragh pushing the button most times and answered the ones he didn't know

I only saw it yesterday and i was like damn he stole the show, and i wanted to actually search him up or find a repeat of this episode after seeing it on TV as it was a repeat but didn't know he became a chaser as i don't think i've seen him on the repeats in Australia.

It’s the way the game works and three getting back meant three extra points plus the two or three the others answered between them meant Paul was under pressure having to beat 23. I never got to see this when it aired so I don’t know how the other three did at the table but I guess they did what they had to to get back.

In the latest set of series, it is possible for Chasers to offer negative amounts i.e. you can get back to the team for a chance at the final chase, at the cost of your prize fund.
