- You don't hear much about Kaohsiung City, do you? It's the 3rd largest city in Taiwan though. And it has a lot to offer. From beaches to temples to modern skyscrapers. Lets take a look at Kaohsiung Taiwan in 2019! #Kaohsiung #Taiwan
Kaohsiung is indeed one of world's most underrated cities, I had a great time doing a video on the city as well. Glad to know you had a great time in Kaohsiung! I could move there ☺️
Thanks man. I watched a lot of your videos. You're doing a good job!
@@realcoolvision thank you, so do you! Keep up the great work 😉😉
Saw all your vids too!! Please post more Taiwan......I’m sure you have plenty of more unseen footage.
I consider Kaohsiung as top rated city
welcome back.
Kaohsiung was the only city I've ever visited where everyone I saw was smiling. And not just to me, but with each other. Various cool things to see and visit (Guang Shan!!)
Really great city!
Taiwan seems like one of the best countries that I have never seen. I always like seeing videos about Taiwan. This city in particular is a must if I get there. The people seem really nice.
It is amazing. Kaohsiung changed my life. I had some misty eyes reminiscing on small spots in this video I remember spending meaningful time at.
thanks for your great comment on my hometown, if you do visit kaohsiung in the future, I will show your the New sightseeing spots after 2020~
I am from Kaohsiung
I recommend tourists for sightseeing, November-February is the most suitable, because Kaohsiung's summer is really hot
I am from changhua …can you please recommend some best place to go, riding mrt ?we will go there maybe this February …thanks …
While it is pretty hot, I still prefer April-June and October-November. In the winter, winds blow from China and the air is quite polluted.

Thank you for this awesome video about this oft-overlooked city! When I bring my friends from the States to visit Taiwan, most of them actually prefer Kaohsiung to Taipei for its beauty and nature. It has changed so much since I left 12 years ago. I especially love all the unique buildings and architecture that have cropped up just within the last decade(!) like the library, the Weiwuying arts center, the China Steel building, the exhibition center, and the Dadong Arts Center. Taking the light rail is a really easy and nice way to get a good view of most of these buildings!
Kaohsiung literrally giving its best definition of 'Living'. Thanks for your vid.
I lived in Taiwan for 2 years. Mostly between Tainan and Hualien, but I have been all over Taiwan, and Kaohsiung is only a half hour by car from Tainan, and I came here often. Taiwan is my favorite place in the world. I miss it.
Welcome to continue living in Taiwan
Hello, how are you doing😊
You worked as a teacher?
I lived in Kaohsiung for about 1 year. Local Taiwanese food was so good, I want to try it again.
The city is spectacular great video.
Place has changed a lot since I was there Feb-March 1973. Love River is still there, though.
My next destination after pandemic, been to Taipei and Taichung, love them both
I agree Kaohsiung is beautiful! The dragon tiger pagoda is a must see. And the street food is delicious!
As always...OUTSTANDING..! Exemplary tour and very well articulated...Very Much Appreciated and Keep Them Coming...!!! 😍💖👍
Glad you had a great time in my hometown! I enjoyed your fantastic video about KH so much. Hope to see you on the street some time once you come back for another visit. You are always welcomed :)
I'm heading here on the 11th for work in like 3 months, pretty excited! Thanks for the video😊
Your videos are always so informative and well filmed.
lovely video .I felt myself physically in Kaohsiung while watching. Please keep it up .All the best my brother
Thank you for showing us such a great video like this!
Thanks for filming such a great video for my city💓
Love it. You explain well about kaoshioung. And i learned a lot about the place i used to visit every holiday of my work
Kaohsiung used to be the 2th biggest city in Taiwan but it's population was caught up by that of Taichung in 2018. Many foreigners prefer living in Kaohsiung to Taichung because their administrative levels used to be different. Taichung hadn't been authorized a metropolis until 2010 while Kaohsiung has been ordained a metropolis for more than 40 years and developed much earlier. Besides, Kaohsiung is a port city with beautiful mountain sceneries and Love river runs through the city. All make it more attractive.
Thank's for the explanation, may be one day ill visit Kaohsiung.
A must visit place here in taiwan 😊
I love your videos, thanks for sharing!!! I visited Taipei but not the rest so i want to do it soon once the dust settles!!!
Enjoyed this video, keep coming more and more
Great info, well presented!
Thanks for sharing! I need to visit and film some footage 🎥
I like Kaohsiung too. Thank you for this awesome introductory video : D
Only one thing I noticed in the video is the Kaohsiung Martyrs Shrine...
the year when it was demolished triggered by the diplomatic relation with Japan is actually 1972.
Anyway, it is a great clip :) Thank you again!!!
Thank you so much for your amazing videos. It gives a sense of almost like staying in the city and knowing it well. Hope you will be bringing more videos like this in future once again thank you so much.
The people are so friendly ....:) , thanks for the video
Thanks for posting. valuable information
PS - I super love Taiwan!!! Love from the Philippines 🇵🇭!!!
Love you too from Taiwan!
Just went there last week and guess what? I followed exactly where you been! Thanks for the video bro!
Great exploration video🙏👍
Wow! Kaohsiung is beautiful!👍👍👍
Long time no see your video, I was so excited to get your video
Here at 400 views, a first for me. Also, Kaohsiung looking like a place I might visit in my future plans.
I really like to watch your videos!!
Thanks for the beautiful video! I used to spend 6 months a year in Taiwan, being Gaoxiong as my basis. There's a huge Latin colony there, so sometimes I used Spanish more than English or Chinese (Taiyu local) -- did you know that it's locally called "Coyong" (ko-heong) -- much to the amusement of many Latin residents!? Well, the local speaking residents, especially from Fengshan like it too!
ive been to the museum when i was really little. so proud of my city and country
Really am enjoying in your vlogs
Taiwanese food is the best in the world.
Such a great summary of this Kaohsiung City. Just come from a trip there for the third time and always feel i missed something to do. Greetings from Taichung City !
I think I'm going to make a video about Taichung City as well:)
@@realcoolvision There is a lot to say about Taichung ! I am here if you're up for some collab
i was there last year, beautiful place but the sun is like a laser, 10/10 would walk around with an umbrella again :)

Great video, only knew the city because of the Tuntex Sky Tower.
Too bad I missed it during my visit last year yet gives me a reason to go back ☺️
Awesome video.
40 mins to xchange $100 , so what's the record ? Mebbe the calci broke down .Great vid as usual .KS is really a beautiful City , to think that they went about and beautified it after it was industrialized is something impressive .What I like best was that there were no crowds in most places and it was surrounded by nature.
謝謝 CoolVision.
Thank you CoolVision.
Wow, thank you for this. I’m going for the first time in October. I will watch this vid many times!
oh my god! I miss Kaohsiung!
Clean. Safe. Civilized. NO GUNS. NO DRUGS. Looking at some of the utterly useless and corrupt governments throughout the world You can't help but ADMIRE just how well run this country is. Absolutely mind blowing.
I currently live in Portugal, but I really miss my hometown, Kaohsiung ! :) Love it!

台湾是一个干净富裕友善高素质的国家,
@@user-ch6bk6vc7s 不管怎么说,台湾比中国好多了,台湾国是一个民主自由的国家,人均GDP比中国高很多,贫富差距低

I'd been dying to go to that Pier 2!
NIce video. thank you. I wonder, why doesn't taichung as the 2nd largest city in taiwan have MRT subway, but on the contrary Kaoshiong as the 3rd largest has it?

Previous Ofw in Kaoshuing Taiwan so many beautiful places to go they're friendly and hardworking . I miss the night market ,street foods, taiwanese celebrations and using bike. The country quiet strict implemented medical check up for their employees safe and can be for safety of their country people . I'm not surprise they seperated in Communist China and became democracy country and progressive.
please review your camera setup...how to mount camera on bus or car?
i use a special mount on the windshield

Japan did not switch recognition in 1910 as the PRC did not exist and Taiwan was a Japanese colony. I assume they switched in the 70s around the same time as the US.
