- Full Length Freight Trains part 2 takes a look at more freight trains in various parts of the country. In a departure from my usual editing style, this video shows freight trains in their entirety from the locomotives to the last car on the train. While the focus is in the Pacific Northwest region and Southern California, several other regions and a number of different railroads are featured.

Oh boy, imagine the coal trains... those are one of the longest types of trains EVER.
Hahaha, thank you!
That's when the lawn chair and thermos of coffee come into play......
@@thealmightydoge5653 Double coal trains on a grade, like 20 minutes handheld
Gallup NM my home town is a railroad town and whenever I get lunch I always wait in the station parking lot n eating and watching trains go by, although just intermodal and container most of the days Lol
Greetings from Australia, Mike, An excellent video on many different types of freight trains in USA, also great scenery shots, Good Job, Well Done !!!
Hey I’m Australian to
I live in Oscar electric train area and I haven’t seen any nr class locos because the freight trains I always see are usually 81 classes or 82 classes and 93 classes and tt classes
Awesome video mike
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Watching here from Philippines 🇵🇭. Hoping my country would have freight trains someday.
So cool! I like freight trains
Great video mike
Thank you!
Nice catches, cool scenery!
Impressive video, I went back to Lincoln, and to my surprise coal trains were rolling through town ever 2 hours, and each one easily exceeded a mile long with up to 5 engines 3 MPUs leading and 2 DPUs shoving up the end
Me too I love so :)
If only I could ever see long trains like these in my part of town... here I only get two or three locomotives with five cars maximum.
Hi
Wow! That must be some sort of local?
@@CoasterFan2105 well you see, I live on what WOULD be Modern Day Conrail, but the freight service actually connects to multiple towns and cities in NJ, and including the Northeast Corridor. But yes, we do locals. It's rare to see even ONE modern GE locomotive in one of our yards.

I have always wanted to catch trains like this. How do you do it
Recording an entire freight train is a great ordeal, especially with longer trains these days. I’m in Florida right now and I’m gonna try and record some full length FEC trains here.
Nice! Good luck!

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was when it said “will you take me to funky town” that part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionises the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the chip go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and i don't think I can ever be the same. this chip has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. i will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the chip is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on chip. hail chip. hail chip. The spinning chip, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a chip do such a thing? Im struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the chip spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the chip scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavour, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathising her love for this rotating chip. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any chip I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a chip I have ever seen especially on 17:24. I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any chip I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a chip I have ever seen especially on 57:42. and This film has wonderful character devolepment. If you pay attention you can see him speeding up and then slowing down multiple times. This shows that he is getting confident in his moves, gaining more energy then losing it from pushing himself to far. This made me shed a tear I believe that this chip has feelings and us watching this, and commeting on his video is making him inspired. I think that he is happy that so many people are shedding tears because of how good his moves are. I saw a comment saying that this video saved his marriage, and I can only imagine how good that made this chip feel. I am so happy that this chip is finding happiness and I could help get him more by posting this comment. I hope that in the future we will see more of this chip. If we do I will likely cry because this cup is so inspiring. me personally, I think that this chip is showing that we can do anything no matter what we are. To me he is saying "Look, I am a chip, but I can still accopmplise my dreams of dancing" Thinking off how motivated this chip must be made me sob. One day I hope to spread the same message to hundreds of people, just like this chip. and What a beautiful story that everybody should watch. Our journey starts at 3:57 where our protagonists are introduced. Then, we see our antagonist at 6:39, where he is crying in his room after another bad grade on his very important exam. This part made me shed a tear when we could see how vulnerable our antagonist is on the inside. Then, my favorite battle is around 12:53, where everyone encourages the main protagonist and the antagonist to battle. The main reason this is my favorite battle is because we can see our antagonist and his main weakness, speed. After that, we can clearly see him get damaged physically and emotionally, and maybe even mentally. This truly made me cry, as I can see the pain he goes through and how we can apply that in our lives, when we get knocked down. After some time, we are introduced to our first injury, one of the protagonists. His rotator cuff was turned the wrong way, and now couldn't battle with the antagonist. Then, swiftly, we are introduced to our second fight scene at 34:21, where our second protagonist gets majorly hurt. After the paralyzing emotions I go through in this fight, we see a training sequence with some comedy relief at 41:38, before the final battle at 49:41. This is really where we see the antagonist and main protagonist go through some pain and determination. The main protagonist ends up on top, even though he is majorly hurt and was about to perish. my favorite quote is at 58:21, where our main protagonist goes, "Really, you went for the arm instead of the head or heart?" I was brought to tears after we see the city in shambles after this fight scene. This gave me many emotions, but I can say that this was a masterpiece of a movie conveying a great message, and I would totally recommend you watch it. and This is a cinematic masterpiece and helped me when I was in a dark era in my life. When I was in around my first year of middle school my parents died after eating too many potato chips. I visibly remember the day I went back to my house just after school. I was coming home on the bus at around 4 in the afternoon right after my classes ended. I was talking to my friend who at that time was sitting next to me. We were talking about all sorts of stuff, for example we where talking about the scores we got on our last math test. At that time I was completely oblivious from the things that were about to transpire. My bus stop was one of, if not the last, bus stop. As soon as I arrived at my bus stop I rushed home getting ready to hop on my PC and start playing some games. But, when I came through the front door I saw my parents on the ground. My mom still had the bag of chips in her had. I was so shocked, all I could do was just stand there and watch. I felt helpless watching my dad still trying to shove those chips in his mouth before he passed out. After a few minutes of dreadful silence, I got my act together and rushed to get my phone

Indeed!
Does the third train have two heritage units or is it just the livery of the railroad
By the way mike, how does your videos put in great 60fps
0:54 it’s the horn from one of those games? Urmmm I can’t remember
For a true freight rail experience use headphones! 🎧 😉
35:25-DPUs Alright!
Why is not trains solar charged and tracks. So too with wind and solar panels. If you want like free rides and have maglev trains, and no moving components?
So that you don't have to replace damaged rotating stuff?? Must be so much more efficient. No oil or stuff braking down like cogs and you name it.
I look at today's autoracks with the clamshell doors and think back to all those brand new Chevy's made here in Oshawa shipped with no protection to speak of ...brats like me throwing rocks......about 1972......
No these trains are full length no freight train in the US unless it’s a local is as short as this?!?
