I don't drink much milk and I used to waste milk if I bought much or find myself not having enough if I bought a smaller amount. Hey, Mr. Tom! Well, I see what broke the bank--those Le Seuer tiny peas! Love 'em. Grew up on 'em. Haven't had them in years because of the way they jacked up the price. Last time I looked (a long time ago) I believe they were $2.89 at the cheap store. Fairview is delicious, and it lasts me a long time, too. Best of all, they didn't take advantage of the opportunity to jack up their prices. It's been $4.49 here for a long time, though lately $4.49 has been a sale price. I can respect that. Thank you for sharing your life, Mr. Tom! Have a great week! Hugs~
So good to see you Mr. Tom. Thank you for sharing with us, its always a pleasure! Praying & much love for you & your family & Princess Gracie & your Kitty Krew. God bless y'all & thank you for your kindness .🙏💞🙏😊
Many prayers. Hugs and love to you and the kitty crew. I need to restock and am afraid to get it done. We need to stockpile now before November. Best wishes. I love Fairlife!
Hello Mr. Tom. We have the same problem with milk so now we only buy the cartons of shelf-stable milk at the Dollar Tree. $1.25 They have Whole, 2%, 1%, Almond, and Oat milk. We love it and it lasts a long time. God bless. 💙
@@rejeannagwynn5665 I keep at least 20 cartons in stock. Sometimes I even find Chocolate. I went to restock today and found no milk at all.😞 Hope it's not going to be harder to find. Best of luck.👍
I have stage four bone cancer, use food pantry in your areas. Frozen meals are expensive and full of salt. Get a rosted chicken clean off bone separate into meals, rice, potatoes, cook beans, frozen berries, even roast beef in a can, rince cook with boulion broth, carrots, potatoes and onion. Frozen mixed vegetables mixed with minced canned chicken, chicken broth. Thicken and serve on biscuits.
Hello - this is my first time visiting your channel but I wanted to say hello and thank you for sharing your shopping with us. You showed the smaller cans of biscuits for biscuits and gravy - IF your store (mine is Walmart) has a bag of frozen biscuits, you can literally take out only the amount you want to eat with no waste. I believe that a bag of the store brand frozen is $3.59 but as I said, no waste - they go straight from frozen to golden brown in 20 minutes. Just something that might be helpful for you. I also use them to make a mean chicken pot pie which is delicious - if you want the recipe for that I'm happy to share. Blessings to you from Missouri 😊♥️😊
I can hardly wait to see what you're going to cook next. I shopped for just myself today and my groceries totaled $99 using their coupons. Good thing that I'm currently dieting... 🥴
Mr. Tom, your prices are usually cheaper than ours here in Southwest Missouri. Nothing we can do but pay it. We are battling the heat here and trying to do our outdoor chores in the early morning or later in the evening. We are in our 70’s and have to be more careful now. Thinking of you and your health often and hoping you are doing ok. Waiting as patiently as we can for some cool fall weather. ❤
Our produce is much more expensive in the small town I live in but the other prices you have are about similar. But my store this week was running chicken buy one get one free and I felt like I won the lottery😢😊
I use the Fairlife milk and really like it. I know it recommends use within 14 days but it has proven to last longer. In my area it’s about a dollar more than you paid. I agree the prices keep going up. My grocery stocking will be in a couple weeks when the ss check comes in. I got just a couple of needed items like bread (bogo) and package salad mix. Kind of depressing but necessary when trying to eat healthy. I currently dealing with kidney disease issues so trying to adjust the diet to focus on their health. Finding “fresh “ and “frozen” coming back into my life. I don’t mind the cooking but still find myself “mentally” challenged cooking for one lol😊. Take care Mr. Tom see you on your next video. Much love and prayers 💕🙏
Wish I could share some of my extra produce with you. I some great succeses and a few fails. I think the zucchini and tomatoes are a bit late. Some tomatoes just turned red and have 64 plants. Usually overwhelmed by now.
It's sure gonna be hot this week Tom. Thinking of you, and ready to help with two strong hands, a good Caravan, a strong back and a warm heart. Your friend across the way in MS. Lovely video, as always.
Bless you, Mr. Tom!!! I wish my prices were as good as yours. We seem to run at least 10 cents more per item here in Fort Worth, Texas. Have a great day!
It’s disgraceful how obscenely high grocery and petrol prices have become. As a new subscriber, I want to express my appreciation for your honesty and poetic style. I value it greatly. Wishing you all the best with your health, and I look forward to seeing and hearing more of your work! Thank you.
Mr. Tom, I always thought the fairlife milk last long until I read on the side of the milk container to use with in 14 days of opening. Sell by date is different from open date, just an FYI for the future. God bless you and the kitty crew.
You are eating what you like…that’s okay. Would only add three things…be out in nature, drink lots of clean water, watch something that makes you laugh…sometimes that is just outside your door. I found what is called dry bar comedy channel on you-tube…can get a kick out of those comedians. Do everything that brings you joy!
Hey there my friend this is my first time watching your videos and I love it, I am from Jax, Fla and a proud southern native, I love your style and your country accent, thanks for sharing, love you stay blessed ❤❤❤
Glad you’re doing well still cooking can’t wait for your new recipes don’t look at the prices of coffee I actually put it back today I will be going on my stockpile for a while now
Hello Mr. Tom your videos don't come up often but I hope your feeling well during your treatment plan. I didn't catch if you mentioned what your total bill was but it looks like you did smart planning out your menu. Grocery prices are high everywhere unfortunately but meal planning like you are doing definitely will save you some money. I have been working on my menu for the next 3 weeks maybe longer today with what I bought at the store ( I use Sam's Club alot) and what is in my deep freezers, blessed that they are full but its time to start using that up and not spending anymore money looks like my homeowners insurance went up this year ouch. Everyone be blessed. Anna In Ohio
Hi Tom, so nice to see you. You look really well. I'm praying for you, and know things will be fine. Your prices are better than ours are in Ma. Hard to believe when I look at the receipt, with the small amount I buy. All you can do is to try to stretch it. Waiting for the cooler weather so I can make some beef stews and such. That shrimp scampi made me hungry.
I sure wish you lived closer! I checked the jungle that we call a garden and although the tomatoes aren’t ripe yet they are so big that I swear some of my Romas are as big as baseballs. I only planted tomatoes and peppers this year. The potatoes are the big fail. Oh well there sure aren’t any guarantees in gardening! We’re hanging in just praying for better times. Praying for you and the kitty crew.♥️👍🙏🇺🇸
Looking forward to seeing your cooking sessions, Mr Tom. Your videos always cheer me up. Love seeing your garden and the kitty crew too. We all pray for and care about you!
You did very well! Here in Connecticut you would have paid much more!!! I’m in my 70s and on a fixed income. I have an hour round trip to nearest Walmart and I go the first of the month. I basically don’t buy much meat. But I find I don’t really miss it. God provides well and I have backyard chickens so my protein needs are covered!😁. God bless you. Thanks for sharing
That was a good price on the shrimp. My cherry tomatoes are doing well but my big tomatoes are not doing great. I went to a orchard recently and the big tomatoes were $4.00 for one!!! Yikes.
Hey Mr Tom went today and pickup a few items yes the cost is up everywhere the gas is up to 4 Bucks a gallion the oil company they are saying because of Heavy Storms it should go down in about a month so much B / S Stay Safe Take Care !!!!
Lovely haul Mr. Tom. I know the prices are high for you folks, but the folks in WI would love those prices! We pay 2.68 for the bread you bought, same pork 5.99/lb, michelina 1.59 on special, fairlife milk 4.49, same bag of shrimp 9.99. I live in one of the poorest counties in WI and our food prices and property taxes have been going up since 2017. Rent is outrageous--800 sq ft in a 30 year old building 1400.00/mo. There are grain shortages, hence high prices for wheat. Vietnam is one of two countries that supply coffee beans and because of rain and flooding--coffee production is down. Hence, coffee is expensive and may be hard to find in the coming months. We stocked up! I work in commodities and daily see shortages because of weather, wars, and worker shortages which equal higher prices. I'm hoping, if you can, you'll film some of the food you plan on making. xoxo
You made a good haul at the grocery store. Yes, prices keep going up and it has made us, in a sense, better shoppers. We tend to leave the junk food for those people who tend to eat more of it, and we are constantly looking for the better quality for the lowest price...it seems like a game these days. It won't get better, I'm afraid to say. We have to do the best we can and be thankful for what we do have. Wishing you the best on your road to good health. God bless you, Mr. Tom.
Looks good to me, I cut way back on highly processed foods. The closer to nature the better, at least that's what I'm hearing. Gotta hand it to the food manufactures though, they come up with some mighty delicious tasting chemicals.
Thank you for sharing Mr Tom, my last visit to Kroger had me so frustrated but I did also find bacon on sale for 3.45 a package so I went ahead and bought three & put them in the deep freeze. God knows that will be hard to find again in the near future. I like to go over to Save-a-lot in between trips to Kroger. It's a discount grocery store here in Ohio similar to Aldi's. Blessings to you 🙏 💜
Nice gorecy haul Mr. Tom had got some groceries yesterday at Walmart in Opelika. Had went to super foods about 3 weeks ago still praying for you also for good health and speedy recovery.
I bought Fairlife milk at Walgreens for $4.79. Really like it due to less sugar and good shelf life. Went good with coffee and a little sweetener. Think you should go to Buddies and buy several chicken tenders with gravy. Freeze, thaw, make rice and include some sliced tomatoes. Quick and easy! PRAYERS!
You are a very good shopper! I find that milk does last longer. Also, I don’t buy organic, but I do find organic milk lasts longer. I always look for the best date and it seems to last beyond. I freeze some in a small container. Im behind on videos. I’ll try to catch up. Wishing you well, Mr Tom. 🥰
see if a church near you has a food bank. some is 2x a month. others are 1x a week. i went to 1 a few yrs ago, alot of stuff was already expired. can stuff. so i started going to another 2 yrs ago. it is farther. they use to give good stuff & milk. now they cut back & down. so many ppl go. over 100 cars lined up. thing is so many want to get there early to not miss out, sometimes they run out of certain things. another reason is if you go later the longer you have to run your car & stop & go. which is why i go earlier. it is over 2 hr wait. if you do go early. but even thow not much. it helps out. i go each 2 or 3 wks coz its far.
Hi Mr Tom and kitty crew. Always so interesting when you do your grocery hauls. Prices are a lot higher where I am in Florida. Just using all my knowledge my mom taught me on how to stretch a meal these days. You and the kitty crew take care.
Glad to see you again, Mr. Tom! You are looking well and I am happy for that! Your super foods has the lowest prices in the US! I have the same problem with milk, so I buy the small size! I am looking forward to your recipes. Here in upstate NY, prices are going up so much, that it is impossible to shop anymore! Gas still 3.59$. Even Walmart's prices are up! Mr. Tom, do you know anything about locusts appearing this Summer? I just saw one today. It landed in my driveway in front of me! I hope that is the only one. Praying that your treatments are successful and painless. God bless you and the kitty krew.
❤ Hi Mr. Tom and Kitty Krew I used to make instant pudding to use up milk before it went bad. Maybe make some as soon as you buy it and then drink what's left.? ❤ Love all of your videos!
I cook about the same each week for my son and I, spend on average 150.00 a week. I live in Southern California. Remembering not very long ago I was spending 70 to 80 weekly for the same stuff. I'm not suffering at all eat like this. But eating and cooking the same stuff weekly gets old quick. Bright Blessings 🎉🎉🎉
If you buy a package of Bisquit or Jiffy (biscuit mix) you can shake out a little, mix it with some milk, put it on a baking sheet or muffin pan for 10 or 15 min. and voila! you have biscuits. You can make any amount of them you want. The box of mix seems to last forever using it like that. I think it's cheaper in the long run than the cylinders of biscuits.
Hi Mr. Tom. You aren't kidding groceries keep going up. But I buy Fairlife milk also and for the same reason. It lasts longer and of course tastes better. The first time I tasted it I was reminded of how milk tasted back in the 60s. I'm 73 yrs old so in my days milk at school came in little glass bottles with the cardboard pull top! 😅 it always tasted so good. I live in Oklahoma, small town. We have one grocery store and a Walmart superstore. They're both smaller than what I'm used to. They're higher priced being in a smaller town. No competition. A head of lettuce is $2.00. Well anyway I'm trying not to complain because we're all in the same boat! $50.00 is the what I uses to pay $20.00 for. I feel blessed being able to have what I do. God is good. Feel better, rest, and don't quit. I know its hard.
prices are twice (literally) as much here in Jackson/Ridgland Ms. i mean a can of soup is like 3.99 + loaf of cheap bread is around 3.00 up too 7.00, your lucky Mr Tom , those prices are super good imo
Hi, Mr. Tom 👋 I went for my 1st of the month shopping and actually found #1 packages of Black Angus ground burger usually $7-$8.99 per #....but I found it at $4.99. so I got 6. Now I can make me some chili, burgers with onion slices , and goulash and finally meatballs and meat sauce for my meals. I also found 2 packages of chicken breast boneless marked down half price. I got those. That gives me 8 meals with chicken. I'll cut some into "nuggets" & "strips". Then I'll probably pound 2 real thin and fry one side and then turn it over & while it Frys " fill it with tomato and cucumber. I'll finish it off and eat it like a meat taco shell. 😆 So I got mostly meat but I got a real nice bunch of very large radishes with the greens ( they weren't going to put them out until they "cleaned & trimmed off the leaves ". I like the greens and washing them is not a problem for me. So tonight I had last month s marked down to $4.98 chicken baked on a bed of onions with a few of those radishes quartered ( yes they were as big as potatoes!), carrots I was gifted, baked kennebec red potato. Dessert was bird's pudding made with almond milk from last month. Those radish greens? I added those to my last 3 limping cabbage leaves ( I chopped into fine shreds) cooked in oil and ate with salmon cakes!!! Yessir I've gone through a bunch already and money is REALLY TIGHT this month again. But the chicken will give me 4-5 meals and the leftover veg from it will help. I might make a "NOT POT PIE" WITH THE LEFTOVERS. & The carcass & peels will make a good batch of broth down the line. I bought some zucchini and peppers for relish making for next week & some eggs with my first of the month "bounty". Now it's back to tight but I will manage as will others. You're right. Those convenience meals are great when you don't have any energy as they give you something to put in that very empty tank. I used to like both of those brands you chose. No gluten plus my other allergies makes it difficult to buy the cheap stuff. Hope to see you for your meal videos Mr. Tom. Hang in there, Dad! We still need you! Hugs
Thanks!
Thank You ever so much for your kind and generous gift to us. It will make things easier here and we appreciate it. God Bless You.

I love that brand of peas as well, can't find them in my area anymore
@@Oliverthecat1964 They weren't stocked at my grocery store this past week, either. Can't get them on Amazon either. 🤔
Why?
Hello Mr. Tom. We have the same problem with milk so now we only buy the cartons of shelf-stable milk at the Dollar Tree. $1.25 They have Whole, 2%, 1%, Almond, and Oat milk. We love it and it lasts a long time. God bless. 💙
I use that too
@@rejeannagwynn5665 I keep at least 20 cartons in stock. Sometimes I even find Chocolate. I went to restock today and found no milk at all.😞 Hope it's not going to be harder to find. Best of luck.👍
To help out.
Ah Kathie, your so kind to is, Thank You so much, May God Bless You
I have stage four bone cancer, use food pantry in your areas.
Those biscuits make good donuts. Just form a hole, and throw in some hot oil for 1-1/2 minutes a side. Then dip in cinnamon sugar. 😋
Always did that when my kids were little. So good!!!!
You are looking well. Havv be e good week. God bless you. I’m 200 miles north of you can my prices are higher here too
Hello - this is my first time visiting your channel but I wanted to say hello and thank you for sharing your shopping with us.
Blessings to you from Missouri
😊♥️😊
I can hardly wait to see what you're going to cook next. I shopped for just myself today and my groceries totaled $99 using their coupons. Good thing that I'm currently dieting... 🥴
Greeting from WV! Our tomatoes are a disaster here, too! Speaking for several backyard gardeners. We have a bumper crop of peppers though!!🙂
Nice haul. Those peas are the best. PR ices are high here to. God bless. 👍👍😃❤️🙏
Man, that's a lot of ultra processed food for someone fighting cancer. Good luck and Godspeed to you! Sincerely
I too am from SW Missouri. I was thinking those prices are better than here.
Not a bad haul Mr.Tom.Some if this prices were better than Around here in Ky.Thanks For Sharing & Have A Blessed Day.Continued prayers for healing.🙏💕🙏
Our produce is much more expensive in the small town I live in but the other prices you have are about similar. But my store this week was running chicken buy one get one free and I felt like I won the lottery😢😊
It seems like every month when I get to the store the prices seem to keep going up month to month God Bless you and the kitties from Oklahoma
Proud of you. Mr Tom. Maybe check out a local food pantry. I go every 7 weeks to my local pantry. God bless you. Your friend JW
Mine was small too Mr. Tom. This heat is really bothering me. God bless you. Praying for you and the kitty crew.
Chopped shrimp wrapped in lettuce leaves is nice if you wanted to use leftovers as such. Take care, Mr. Tom 🏵️
It's sure gonna be hot this week Tom. Thinking of you, and ready to help with two strong hands, a good Caravan, a strong back and a warm heart. Your friend across the way in MS. Lovely video, as always.
Thanks 👍
Bless you, Mr. Tom!!! I wish my prices were as good as yours. We seem to run at least 10 cents more per item here in Fort Worth, Texas. Have a great day!
Thanks for sharing
Nice seeing yah again , Mr. TOM....PLZ take Care..U and the Kitty Krew 😺
Just retired 90 days ago! Trying to get my footing down.... Always love the food hauling videos! Yard work better now? Praying for you Mr. Tom!!
It’s disgraceful how obscenely high grocery and petrol prices have become.
As a new subscriber, I want to express my appreciation for your honesty and poetic style. I value it greatly.
Wishing you all the best with your health, and I look forward to seeing and hearing more of your work!
Thank you.
I thought your shoppimg was very thought out and complete for your plans. Have a good week. Patrice
I think your haul looks great....prices are more in Va....it is sad how expensive everything is!! God bless❤
Awesome! Thank you!
Glad to see you looking good Mr. Tom 💕 Our food prices are higher in South Florida especially meats. Love to the kitty crew 🥰
Glad you’re doing well still cooking can’t wait for your new recipes don’t look at the prices of coffee I actually put it back today I will be going on my stockpile for a while now
Excited to see the recipes Mr. Tom❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing. A head of lettuce here is $2.19. I feel your pain. I'm praying for and the kitties.
Great job. I live in Illinois. Our prices are twice as high as yours. Be blessed
Prices are much higher will I live in Pa. You did great.
Hey Mr Tom! You still had a lot of multiple meals you can make there with your haul. Lifting you up in Prayer. Hugs from East Texas
Hi Mr Tom good to see you again food is higher in my neighborhood God bless you and the kitty crew
You did a good job Mr. Tom. Things are higher every week. GOD BLESS YOU'LL.
Prices are high up here in Massachusetts too. Hope you feeling better each day. Been praying for your healing.
see if a church near you has a food bank. some is 2x a month. others are 1x a week. i went to 1 a few yrs ago, alot of stuff was already expired. can stuff. so i started going to another 2 yrs ago. it is farther. they use to give good stuff & milk. now they cut back & down. so many ppl go. over 100 cars lined up. thing is so many want to get there early to not miss out, sometimes they run out of certain things. another reason is if you go later the longer you have to run your car & stop & go. which is why i go earlier. it is over 2 hr wait. if you do go early. but even thow not much. it helps out. i go each 2 or 3 wks coz its far.
❤ Hi Mr. Tom and Kitty Krew
I used to make instant pudding to use up milk before it went bad. Maybe make some as soon as you buy it and then drink what's left.?
❤ Love all of your videos!
That's fine haul, but we don't have jowl bacon where I shop,God bless you
Sorry to hear that
Good to see you blessings to you and the kitties crew🌻
I cook about the same each week for my son and I, spend on average 150.00 a week. I live in Southern California. Remembering not very long ago I was spending 70 to 80 weekly for the same stuff. I'm not suffering at all eat like this. But eating and cooking the same stuff weekly gets old quick. Bright Blessings 🎉🎉🎉
I wish you the best Mr. Tom. I'm glad people have youtube to communicate with eachother. You seem like a very sweet man.
Our tomatoes haven't done well either. I got a 2 lb bag of shirmp in my senior box thes month and last. Love it.
Can't wait to see what you do with the shrimp!
Love to watch you shop and cook.Your prices seem to be lower where you are than here in Cumberland County NC..God Bless you and Kitty Crew Mr T❤
Hi Mr.
Thanks for the Content Mr.Tom...Always a Pleasure.Cheers from Oregon Family&Stay Blessed🌲✨👍😎💙
Freeze the milk in ice cube trays and put cubes of milk in a freezer bag. Then you can thaw a cube or two at a time.
prices are twice (literally) as much here in Jackson/Ridgland Ms. i mean a can of soup is like 3.99 + loaf of cheap bread is around 3.00 up too 7.00, your lucky Mr Tom , those prices are super good imo
May God bless and keep you. Food prices have humbled us all. ❤
So I got mostly meat but I got a real nice bunch of very large radishes with the greens ( they weren't going to put them out until they "cleaned & trimmed off the leaves ".
Hugs
Howdy maam !!!! You been busy!!!!
Looking forward to your next cooking video. Good job! 👍
