I am grateful that I don't have to grind my own corn, much less grow it. I'm glad I don't have to milk the cows, plow the field, pick the wild berries, draw water from a well down the mountain in freezing weather, and have to hitch up the team for an all-day trip to town, where I would buy kerosene for heat, more thread to patch clothes, more yarn to knit new gloves, and a big bottle of castor oil for everyone when we got sick. I'm glad that I don't have to slop the pigs and feed the chickens because in the spring we do the slaughter of them, and "can up" the meat over hot boiling cauldrons with paraffin. Perspective is everything.

Mr. Tom, I want to say to you, that you should never think twice about how you make your videos and what naysayers go on about. I won't go into it, but you touch people's hearts just the way you are. Thank you! As for the prices, I think you stepped back in time, lol. A pound of 80/20 hamburger in the plastic roll is nearly 5 bucks here in SE GA (at Walmart). You have a blessed and wonderful day, sir.
Hello Noreen and many Thanks to you for such a nice and generous blessing. We so much appreciate you for making our life better here. May God Bless You.
Mr Tom We have a foot of snow and not going anywhere!! This makes me so hungry!! All looks great!! I know how expensive kitty litter is but they are worth it and you know you want her to be happy!! You know you deserve a nap. It was a full day. Rest well my friend and God's blessings!!
I only get groceries once a month, about 300 dollars. I order Walmart pickup and my sweet son in law and my grandson pick it up and carry it up to my apartment. A lot of the expense is cat food and kitty litter and that's ok. I only eat when I'm hungry. I never eat breakfast unless I'm at a daughter's house. I hate my cooking these days but I'm trying to cook more instead of the convince foods I used to go to. My sprit people gave up on me with my cooking🤣. I'm actually looking up recipes 😳. I want to make dishes large enough for a few meals then put the rest away in serving sizes in the freezer. I used to do that when I was working. Yesterday I made some yummy stromboli but I think the olive oil I used on the pan was rancid. Rancid oil won't hurt you but it doesn't taste good 😞. Last week I made a great dirty rice. No gizzards or liver🤮, just ground beef and Italian sausage. So good!!! Mr Tom, I'm praying you get great news this coming week❤️
I'm a older Gen X ( 1965 ) I still prefer oatmeal or eggs, when I can afford them. I have a very tight budget , too. Happy New Year . Mr. Tom. Glad you remembered the bananas.
Gen X here as well. Mom would make us kids cream of wheat with a bit of brown sugar and a pat of butter on top. Grandma would make me apple and cinnamon oatmeal with golden raisins in it, yum! Still make them the same way today 😊. Hopefully prices go back down soon, these have been possibly the most exhausting years of many folks lives in a long time.
The prices in the small town where I live are higher. I usually buy store brand because name brand has gotten insane in price . most of it is just fine. Once in a while on brand specific but not too often. And I definitely think you are right we are getting screwed on egg and milk prices especially🤦🏼♀️
@@Debbie-b1yoh no! I’m in Indiana ne. And i didn’t hear that yet. I like to get my eggs from people selling them in the country, they taste better and they’re cheap cheaper.
@@nicolemiller8314 We are also fortunate to be able to purchase "home grown" eggs from a friend of ours. She has just raised her rate for a doz eggs to $3.00 from $2.00. She said the feed is getting so expensive. We really do enjoy them. Liz
Morning Ruth your so kind to the kitty krew they and I send our many Thanks to you. We do hope your keeping warm and all is well in your life. God Bless You.
Your prices are pretty good there. They are higher here in Oklahoma. Sounds like you have good menu planned. I had a bone in turkey breast in the freezer, thawed it and cooked it this morning. Couldn’t wait for turkey sandwich, was so good! Now have turkey for the next few days, will freeze some too. Stay warm!
I went to the kroger today ahead of the snowstorm we are supposed to have here in east central Indiana. The flakes are very small, which may keep the totals down. I spent $195 just for me. I will stretch it for 2 weeks. Only meat i got was some honey roasted turkey for sandwiches. It was that or pestrami. Apparently, people got sandwich meats for their emergency preps for the storm. Eggs were on sale 2.49 for large eggs, limit 5 with coupon. I have plenty of meat in the freezer and in cans. The stuff i got is mostly fresh, like those salads, berries, extra tomatoes, apples, and bananas. I did get extra canned pumpkin and sweetened condensed milk for a pumpkin apple dessert that has evolved from a 1796 recipe i saw on youtube. Also, I had to get my pints of ice cream, pudding, chips, and gluten-free bread.
Mr . Tom I think you did great . Nothing is shocking me price wise anymore, because here in Central N.Y the food prices are outrageous and no need for it outside of greed . God Bless you and your family and the Kitty crew 🙏❤️ Everyone God Bless 🙏
Don’t worry, friends! Our grocery prices are all going to come down immediately in a few weeks! Finally. And all of our gas and electric costs will be cut in HALF at least by the end of this year! Prez Trump has promised and guaranteed it! 🇺🇸
Great score on that meat Mr Tom 🙌 (no shame in taking a nap! I have to too after groceries. It’s hard when your ill 😢🙏 for better, healthier days ahead for you)
Hello Mr. Tom you did well with your shopping. I shop Aldi not fancy ,maybe you don't have one in your location. $3.52 for a dozen of large eggs, let me tell you if some reason Aldi would close I would be in a sinking, any other store in my area are outrageous, HY VEE, Price chopper and Walmart are out of reach even for sale items. Sending this from Kansas City, Kansas. Under snow storm and blizzard. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Always a pleasure to hear from have a great day .😊😊
Another great video Mr Tom! I think you did really well at the store. I kid you not I saw a dozen eggs at the store last week for $5.99😖 Not organic or special eggs just regular large eggs!! So a couple other prices: Gas is :3.09-3.19, hamburger is $4.99, bread$3.25, 1/2 gal of milk was $2.89. I live in UP, Mi.
So glad you got your stock up done! If we loose power or you get caught up in the ice/snow storm feels good to know you are covered with no need to go out till the sun comes back out.❤
We are having an ice storm in Southern Illinois. Our electricity is out.I have a gas fireplace that's keeping us warm.I have oil lamps burning. Its suppose to get around 9 degrees this week.
Hi there Tom,prices are steep in Melbourne Australia, depending on what you buy, I buy bulk meat although I’m on my own then break up for each recipe then freeze, much cheaper that way, stay safe Tom and kitty crew, keep out of the storms
You did good! I got a few thing last week since we knew the winter storm was coming. Meat is still high, but I may hit up a butcher shop when I can. 28° with snow and ice in KY. You and the kitties be safe and stay warm!
The price he paid for eggs is crazy though. I get them in the country, size large or better for about $2.50 to three dollars a dozen. I’m thankful for that.
Mr Tom, since you are a gardener, consider planting some thyme in your yard. It comes back year after year and it’s super easy to grow. Virtually no maintenance and the “varmits” don’t eat it off. It has been great for me in MO.
I pay allot for my spices too but it lasts a long time so in the end it worth it. Maybe this spring grow some thyme for yourself. maybe put a pot on your of thyme in your kitchen window.
Hi Mr. Tom. Banana's here are never less than .59 lb., organic even more. You have great pork prices back there. You might want to try growing a thyme plant. I know that bottle will last you a long while, but growing it is better. Avocado toast is a real treat, use plenty of salt and pepper, even a little garlic powder is great. Wish I could find Swaggerty here. Take care, Karla in Cali.
Good morning Mr Tom , you look good there, Happy New year to you and your warm and loving fur babies and the possum we have one too that eats the dry cat food lol, glad your doing well. I love all the goodies you bought at the store, I to have some good items this month that I had delivered this week . Howdy 👋 Mr Tom! Your shopping list looks great 👍! Yes groceries have gotten so expensive, so I try to stockpile with items that we eat on SALES ! Here in Hawaii, Walmart shelves looked cleaned over! 🥓🧈🥚🥔🥒🍅🥫🌭🥞
Hi Mr. Tom. Bananas are a great price at 35 cents a pound!! Didn’t sound too bad to me. Lakeland, FL is between Busch Gardens & Seaworld, really close to Tampa. It’s pretty costly here due to the close proximity to the big parks. Right off I-4, so easy to get there or East or West Coast Beaches. About 45 to Clearwater Beach & Couple no c hour to Daytona. So, pretty touristy area $ pricey. You did good on your grocery haul!! Well, hope you know I love. You dearly & your like family, so you’re definitely in my prayers & heart. God bless you & yours (fur babies as well). Take care, be safe. I don’t say bye anymore to my loved ones. So, later.🙏🏻💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Howdy Mr. Tom! Good to see you and that you did an awesome grocery haul to boot after your treatment. Overall, the prices you noted for us are (for me) shockingly LOW! It's good to see that there are still grocery stores that provide quality at decent prices nowadays. I'm up in the Northwest Arkansas region (originally from south Mississippi though), and prices on everything at every store are ridiculously high up here, definitely much inflated compared to some of your items that I also buy...particularly the meats. This evening (Sunday, 1/5/25), the cold has hit me here at my little cabin, but I am blessed to live way up in a mountain holler (I named my place Crow Holler Homestead) where I get some protection from high winds and such. Even so, it's now 16 degrees with a wind chill of -4 degrees! We had a little light dusting of snow earlier, the 1st snow of the winter season, and its gonna be even colder by morning...down to 9 degrees here in the holler. Forgive me for blathering on so, but I feel as if I know you and you're my neighbor. I just love you, Mr. Tom! You encourage me so much in my own cancer battles. Yes, that was a plural...my 1st cancer was 2015. My 2nd was in 2022. And so far, to date I am cancer free. Thank you for all you share of your life. You are such a blessing. Nan from the Ozarks
Hello Mr. Tom and Capital Cu thank you very much and I enjoy watching you yesterday’s price either Cesar day I think we are being put put up on my pain arm awake but all we can do is protest stop by now but then we all love eggs but I just enjoy every time you go shopping without us know what the prices are down there So far eight so not that pricey well I’m gonna let you go and finish join your soul. God bless you and the kitty girl.
In Canada my 12 eggs LG cost $3.12. The high incr. of eggs in the states lately is because of the avian bird flu and they had to cull a lot of birds I hear ,therefore less eggs to go around mr. Tom. Nice grocery haul!
Mr.Tom; u r one of realest, most genuine man on utube. Luv the hominess of your videos. Just a real life down to earth “dude” By the way your grocery haul is superb!!
Mr. Tom, 👀👀👀 I enjoy watching your Pantry of Food Haul, on your channel. Mr. Tom, you pick out some good stuff from the Grocery Store. Take care Mr. Tom! - Keyneisha Wells
Hello I just found your channel and I really enjoyed this video I just wanted to say I love that stuff you had got you could have gotten at your local food pantry so that might help your food budget some try finding one utilize that as well 👍❤️❤️❤️
You look like you got a nice grocery haul. You look good as well. I'm glad you have your kitty crew and Gracie to keep you company. My son is in South Carolina right now for a job. When I get over there to visit him I will get in touch with you maybe we can get breakfast or lunch together. You take care of yourself 😊😊😊
Everything here is more expensive than where you are. I'm in Florida, and avocados at the local Walmart are .88 each. That mustard is 8 oz. for $1.67. I know prices vary in different parts of the country, and I guess it has to do with wages in the area and cost of living locally. But it's frustrating when not everyone in a more expensive area has high wages, but must pay more for living there. The service industry (hotel maids, waiters, cleaners, etc.) don't make much money, but they don't have any choices on how much they spend on food.
Hello Mr. Tom. I'm glad to be back in Mr. Tom's neighborhood viewing at the little ole country kitchen. That's a nice grocery haul with good prices of each item especially the meat.Well you started the new year off with the right food choices. Also you included the kitty crew treats. They're gonna appreciate you for getting the treats. Well I enjoyed your short video. You & the kitty crew take care. From Texas. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰
Hi Mr. Tom! Groceries are high here. Bananas are 68 cents a pound, pork cube steak $4.98 a pound, eggs $6.98 a dozen, almost double from the summer. Milk $5.99 a gallon, green onions 88 cents a bunch. Apples $1.28 a pound, no matter the variety. Cut out cookies and such that needed to happen anyway!😊 All the best to you and the kitties!!
New subscriber here! Your meat prices are great!! Those pork chops look amazing!! I’ve started shopping at Aldi’s to save money. Eggs at my Aldi’s have been $3,96 for the last month. Your grocery bill was great! I’ve recently retired so my Social Security is all I live on these days. I’m learning how to make to grocery money last for the month. Thanks for your video! God bless!❤
I have noticed a little bit of change in the meat prices. Aldi just reduced their ground chuck to a newer price. If fuel prices go down...then the grocery prices should fall a little at least not go up much! Please Mr Tom check out the eggs price situation for us. Thanks!
Thyme is easy to grow. Cut stalks of it, use a rubber band or string to make a bunch of it, hang it on a hook, and when it is dry, put it into a glass jar and crumble it off the stems as needed.
You said you should be able to get through the month with what you have in the house and what you bought here except for milk and bread and I don't know why, but that just slapped me upside the head and made me feel better! I thought I can get through the month with what I have in the house right now except for milk and bread too and maybe a fresh vegetable here or there. I was just feeling down because as you know getting by on social security is tough! My bigger dog damaged my little dogs eye last night and now all the extra I've saved plus some of my grocery money will have to go to my little pups vet care. It'll all work out. Thanks Mr. Tom. Yes, the cost of herbs & spices is crazy! If there is a spice that you use a lot of it's cheaper to buy it in bulk if you can. I get mine from Amazon. I agree, Heinz Ketchup is my favorite too. I've been thinking about trying to make my own. I unfortunately live in California and I paid over $9 for a dozen eggs just about 5 days ago! I about had a stroke! I've been eating a lot more pork in the last few months because it is so much cheaper than beef. I'll have to look around for the higher fat ground beef. I don't think I've seen it in a long time. Bananas here in California are around 69 cents a pound. I think you did pretty darn good for your first haul of the year!
I was about to tell Mr Tom the very same thing about the eggs. I also live in California and went to the store 4 days ago and I had to pay $9.98 for a carton of a dozen generic large eggs. It was like being back a couple years ago when egg prices were high like this. Food in general here, like gas, seems to be so much more expensive than most other states in the US. I’m on S.S. and I’m so afraid to even look at the meat prices. I try to go early in the morning when they put the manager’s specials out. If I’m lucky I might find something I can make stretch.
Good evening, Mr. Tom❣️Many of your groceries had very reasonable prices compared to ours in mid-Michigan. The lettuce and green onions were a great deal! Stay warm and safe with all of the storms coming in. I'm sure we will get a whopper soon....and we are due😊😊
All your prices are fabulous Mr. Tom. Eggs are high again here as well. I'm paying just under $5 at Walmart. Thanks for sharing your haul. Hugs to you and the kitty krew xoxo.
Mr Tom I would love to get your meat prices here in Missouri! I bought ground beef the other day and had to pay almost $6 per pound, pork I paid $2.59 for the same cuts you have, 79 cents for bananas and our tomato's don't look near as good as yours. Oh yeah those avocado go really nice on your lettuce salad too. Prices here are so bad I try to get at least 3 meals out of everything I cook. Stay warm Tom, mother nature seems to be hoarding all the heat!
I watch Adventures With Dano. He has been talking about spices going up for a while now. I slowed way down on using spices but yeah I'm shocked. Also eggs:( $4.53 current for large at Wolly World. Unreal. I do the same thing almost every time I get grocery. I shove it all in the frig and separate the meat into 1 meal bags the next day. Pantry spread out over that day and the next. Such a physical drain plus the mental strain of continued sticker shock, wondering when they slow down on raising prices by almost every trip. Disgusting. Everyone stay warm and safe!
I'm trying to teach myself how to cook for 1 and it's not easy. Don't feel bad Mr.Tom I took a nap... just woke up and thought it was morning 😊. Eat well and stay warm and safe.
Hi Mr. Tom so good to see you !! 🥳 Happy New Year! Those prices are shocking! We are stunned! 😳 We no longer have anything much for a dollar plus here! 54 cents for onions?! Wow. The food has got very high. Eggs over 7$ and thats regular eggs. Houston is very expensive these days. Blessings and Healing And Praise for us All and all our lil fur babies too! And especially the Kitty Crew! God Be with Us Amen ❤❤❤❤
God bless you Mr. Tom. I'm just resting today & enjoying your video. You and those dear furbabies are so blessed to have each other, thankyou for reminding us to keep on keeping on & to not give up 🐾🐾🙏💙.
Mr Tom I think we r definitely being taken on the price of groceries. There is definitely an effort to increase prices. My grocery store Ruler had a sale on eggs and they were completely out!

Mr. Tom my Navy daughter is stationed in WA state. She told me she just paid 1$ an egg! She said some produce is cheap cause they are near Cali but everything else is outrageous. She can barely pay rent etc..she has a roommate and isnt eligible yet for offbase housing allowance ..shes a Nuke..🙏🙏 for our Country all Service members and each other. Stay safe and warm
Hi Tom, from what I heard the bird flu has a lot to do with cost of eggs theres plenty of chickens being raised that’ll take time to produce eggs that’ll come down in cost. Eggs here in the North are expensive and for extra large organic free range eggs they cost around $5.27 but the quality is excellent.
On the 9 lives kitty food 12 pack at dollar general is $7.and something but if you go during the week a buy something you will get a $5 off of a $25 purchase coupon for Saturday so usually hit there on Saturday pick up kitty food and litter and may grab something for myself and get a coupon for the next week.
Happy new year from Gen X here Mr. Tom! We like avocado toast too. I just use extra-virgin, cold pressed olive oil with some Himalayan salt and mash it all together. Goes great on any toast.

Red Gold brand is great, have here in KS. The prices are nutz, but Ive always been a thrifty shopper. Uugh, a dozen of eggs cost me 4.99, UNREAL! The pkg.says large, but if thats large did not come from a chicken. 😅 As a cancer survivor, 18+ years, that rad/chemo is barbaric sorry youve gone through all this. Just so you know, you must ASK your Dr. Next labs you have, check the vitamins in your blood. They will NOT do it unless you ask. Do it at least every six months! Bcs the treatment delpetes your blood, I had 2 seperate blood transfusions bcs of this. Much love and praying for you Mr.Tom, drink plenty of fluids, do not get dehydrated. ❤
Hello to Mr Tom n the kitty krew. U have the kind of food prices we can only dream of in the state of AZ. We r paying at least twice the price on many of those items. I am so happy for u, enjoy every bit of that wonderful food. Wishing u a healthy 2025. 😊🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hello Mr. Tom, I sure do enjoy your videos and kitty cats! I’m in California and let me tell you about our eggs prices… Over $13 for an 18 count, there were plenty at one store, but probably due to how expensive they are. Also, Costco was all out of eggs today, and they have been running out often these days. Nice grocery haul, especially the meat! Thank you and take care. God bless you.
Wow! You got a great bargain on the meats. My first grocery haul of this year cost me a whopping 187.00 That's to last me until next month. Of course, it includes things other than food. I tend to shop at Food Lion. I paid just 3.99 for their brand of large eggs, regular price. The cheapest sliced cheese was 3.99, on sale. The French onion dip was 2.99, regular price. Of course, I had to have chips, and they had Lay's Wavy on sale for 3.00 for a 7 3/4 oz. bag. I needed black pepper, and you are right about spices being high priced. A 3 oz. container of McCormick's set me back 4.59, regular price. I bypassed the meat section because the prices were too high for my pocketbook. Instead, I bought corndogs 8.99, pot pies 1.00 each, sandwich meat 5.98 for 16 oz., Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits 6.49 on sale, frozen Stouffer meals at 2/5.00 on sale, foil pack tuna 1.00 each on sale. I also bought some canned and frozen vegetables and other basic food items. It all adds up quickly. Like you, I make do with what I have and am content. There's no use crying over what you can't get. I have a roof over my head, clothes on my back, food to eat and a way to watch my favorite UA-camr so I'm satisfied. God supplies us with our needs, not our wants. I hope the meat prices where you're at makes its way up here to North Carolina. I haven't had pork chops in almost 2 years because of the high prices. Glad you made it home from your trip okay. Long trips are exhausting in themselves. Just making short trips like to the doctor or pharmacy wears me out. I forgot to tell you, but I didn't personally go and buy the food myself, I utilize Instacart services as they deliver. Best 10.50 a month that I've ever spent. Rain or shine they deliver. Hope you and your furry friends have a nice day my friend. I sincerely hope that you get great news on your health on your next visit.
Ur convenience foods are giving u little besides empty carbs. If u bought meat you would get way more food but u would have to cook. Just compare the cold cuts at $6# to $4.50# for ground chuck.
I think we are getting screwed on the eggs too. But it's nice to have eggs and there are 12 of them. I usually figure how many meals do I /or will I get out of what I am buying like meat. Salmon here is about $10 a pound but my husband and I will get a meal and a 1/2 from a pound or more. It's expensive but it's cheaper than a restaurant meal with a 3rd of the Salmon. So, it's nice to treat yourself every now and then.
It’s exhausting mentally and physically to get groceries. I have to tell myself I’m lucky to have food and a home to take it to.
Definitely so friend. Blessed to live in places where we can go to grocery stores, that are abundantly stocked with so much variety. 😊❤

Stay warm!
Praying for your good health and healing, Mr. Tom. Take good care of yourself and the Kitty Krew! ❤️🙏🏻❤️
I can’t imagine buying fruit
I can’t imagine buying vegs in winter
Besides potatoes, carrots, onion, cabbage maybe
I’m from Roch area! R u in da Cuse?
Your prices are cheaper where you live...i think you have a great haul!! God bless you sweet man!! Enjoy all that good food❤
Great score on that meat Mr Tom 🙌 (no shame in taking a nap! I have to too after groceries. It’s hard when your ill 😢🙏 for better, healthier days ahead for you)
Thank you, I do appreciate the support!
Always a pleasure to hear from have a great day .😊😊
Aldi is a blessing for many of us. We'd be really stuck without Aldi.
Thanks for showing your grocery haul hope you n kitty crew well
Another great video Mr Tom!
Mr Tom, great to see you as always.
I always enjoy your videos Mr. Tom. God bless you and please stay warm this week.
You did good! I got a few thing last week since we knew the winter storm was coming. Meat is still high, but I may hit up a butcher shop when I can. 28° with snow and ice in KY. You and the kitties be safe and stay warm!
Your prices are pretty good there! Prayers you are feeling better today, be sure to get some rest!
Great value large eggs are 7.42 a dozen in Colorado and in Oklahoma they are 4.53😊
Hi Mr Tom your video truly help relax me I’m grateful to you Gracie and the kitty krew.
I love your videos. Your prices are about the same as here in Eastern Oregon. God bless you.❤
I pay allot for my spices too but it lasts a long time so in the end it worth it. Maybe this spring grow some thyme for yourself. maybe put a pot on your of thyme in your kitchen window.
Nice haul MrTom, good to visit again, thanks for sharing, YAH bless brother !
Blessing to you Mr. Tom.
Hi Mr.
Thank you for telling me that my ground beef needs to beef fatty to have a good taste I have been buying 85/ 15 I will buy the 73/27 next time for flavor. O all most forgot naps are awesome to do sleep heals the body. Wish We had a super foods love your prices our ground beef is at Kroger is 16.99 for a 5 roll so I will give it a try have a great day Mr. Tom.
Hi Mr Tom! Great prices on the meat! I love macaroni salad so i hope you do a video on how you make it
In Canada my 12 eggs LG cost $3.12. The high incr. of eggs in the states lately is because of the avian bird flu and they had to cull a lot of birds I hear ,therefore less eggs to go around mr. Tom. Nice grocery haul!
Hello Mr Tom. Glad to see ya and the Kitties 😊
Mr.Tom; u r one of realest, most genuine man on utube. Luv the hominess of your videos. Just a real life down to earth “dude” By the way your grocery haul is superb!!
It’s a pleasure to be a part of your day!
Mr. Tom, 👀👀👀 I enjoy watching your Pantry of Food Haul, on your channel. Mr. Tom, you pick out some good stuff from the Grocery Store. Take care Mr. Tom! - Keyneisha Wells
Hello I just found your channel and I really enjoyed this video I just wanted to say I love that stuff you had got you could have gotten at your local food pantry so that might help your food budget some try finding one utilize that as well 👍❤️❤️❤️
I was intending to but about a month ago I sprained my ankle like an idiot so I'm in recovery.
Hi Mr Tom good prices everything here in Augusta Georgia at grocery store is very high take care and God bless you and the kitty crew
Sweet haul, mr Tom!
😎👍
You all stay safe n warm out there. Prayers for you everyday 🙏
Blessings to you and Kitty Krew 💙😻🙏🙏
Great grocery haul Mr Tom they always have good prices on pork chop and hamburger meat got to go down there and get some.
Except for the thyme and eggs. Very good prices. Good haul. God bless you and your kitties. 👍👍😃❤️🙏
God bless!❤
It is great to have you aboard!
Good morning Tom!! Glad to see yoi
Try the Badia spices. Really good and less pricey. They are in the Hispanic food aisle at my stores.
@terri5757 I do the same thing. Go to the grocery store early and look for those sale stickers and the marked down stickers on the meat.
Powdered milk and making your own bread and muffins. Help with not going to the store!
@@sandravollmar6646 I haven't been able to perfect the sandwich bread yet, but I'm going to get back to that soon.
Buy cheese to last the month instead of missing milk
Shred n freeze it if want also
Bread u can make all sorts of
Sour cream will last a month too
Good evening, Mr. Tom❣️Many of your groceries had very reasonable prices compared to ours in mid-Michigan. The lettuce and green onions were a great deal! Stay warm and safe with all of the storms coming in. I'm sure we will get a whopper soon....and we are due😊😊
I have looked for that swaggert sasuage we don't have it . I have my groceries delivered since my car is broke down but I prefer going to grocery.
Glad to see you truckin on in the new year.
Great deals Mr Tom! Except for the eggs. They’re over $7 dozen here. I was shocked. Stay warm Mr Tom!
Watch silver hair homemaker . She does a lot of cookin for one!!!!!
@coloradopackratprepper thank you I appreciate it.
Cook for a family
Eat it twice
Freeze rest
Or exchange half ur meal with a friend n eat 4x for 1 cooking!
No freezer
Hey 👋 from far East Texas! A very nice haul there Mr Tom! Be safe during this upcoming storm.
Re Avocados:
*1/2 of the avocado. Lightly smashed
*Tomato slices
* Cheese slice

1. Toast bread
2. Little swipe of mayonnaise
3. Place smashed avocado
4. Top with Tomato Slices
5. Add piece of cheese
Pop in Toaster Oven (or regular oven until cheese is melted.
Enjoy
Mr. Tom my Navy daughter is stationed in WA state. She told me she just paid 1$ an egg! She said some produce is cheap cause they are near Cali but everything else is outrageous. She can barely pay rent etc..she has a roommate and isnt eligible yet for offbase housing allowance
..shes a Nuke..🙏🙏 for our Country all Service members and each other. Stay safe and warm
Hi Tom, from what I heard the bird flu has a lot to do with cost of eggs theres plenty of chickens being raised that’ll take time to
produce eggs that’ll come down in cost. Eggs here in the North
are expensive and for extra large organic free range eggs they cost around $5.27 but the quality is excellent.
I add a slice of 🍅😋.
Yesterday sat.jan 4 at Lidl's Va.Beach carton of 18 eggs $3.19.Had a limit of 6.Very interesting to hear prices in different parts of country.😊 Tnanks❤
I enjoy seeing your grocery haul. ❤️
Red Gold is great stuff. Tomatoes in can too.
If you have an Aldi somewhere near you, their spices are 99 cents a jar including thyme. A few spices are more, but that is their basic price.
Hope you and the kitty crew are staying safe and warm in the big storm ❤
You're such a good shopper. I pay that much or more weekly. You got some deals! Sure wish I had a Super foods here. Blessings! ❤️🙏👍
Get your rest Mr Tom. I'm in midwest Kansas and we have 6 in of snow. My daughter is in Northern Kansas with 14 in of snow.
God Bless you and your dear beloveds Mr. Tom!
Nice haul! Don't forget to drip the cold water in the bathroom or kitchen to keep your pipes from freezing in below freezing temperatures day or night, also cover your outdoor faucets. Take care, be safe, God bless!
Best thing for cancer prevention is Vitamin D. Take Vit D along with K2, to avoid hardened arteries, and also magnesium to uptake to K2. Also Vit C. Fenben.
Mr Tom is that plant in three back is gorgeous.
Oh Mr Tom I absolutely love watching your channel You are such a pleasure to listen to xxxxx Shirley from Canada 🍁
Thank you Shirley, I hope you're staying warm up in Canada.
Hello to Mr Tom n the kitty krew. U have the kind of food prices we can only dream of in the state of AZ. We r paying at least twice the price on many of those items. I am so happy for u, enjoy every bit of that wonderful food. Wishing u a healthy 2025. 😊🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
good afternoon Mr. Tom!! pray you are feeling better!! God bless you and your sweet kitties!!
You did great job shopping.
Thanks for sharing! ❤ California here. I like your calm approach! First time .blessings!
So glad you enjoyed it and thank you for stopping by!
Mr. Tom I live in Georgia and I paid 1.99$ for 12 large eggs this past week. Something’s very wrong in Alabama.
They’re $12 or more for a 36 pack in MS lol
