Who in the right mind would explore an abandoned train and say this is Romania. Look at the shit in the sun that dries up in California, and then talk about other countries.

@@michaelahass2695 what reality? That there are abandoned train cars? Don't you think that they are in every country? Did he go in every country to inspect them ? No. He showed them in Romania, like this was all he could show, from so many wonderful things that Romania has.

Gabriel, go in winter in the hot countries and in the summer in countries with colder climates, to be able to show the country in a better light. To so many countries you do more damage than good.

    • @05biglaur
      @05biglaur 6 років тому +19

:)I'm sure you say that in a positive way emphasizing the fact that Romania is a developing country and some areas are neglected. From Gabriel's videos Brasov and Sighisoara sure look welcoming and visually attractive. This state of dissatisfaction is good if you use it right because it reflects hunger for immediate progress, specially after escaping from that evil communist regime. For example I visited Brazil's favelas which i found amazing and human beautiful but... that's poor. Come on man, you're probably in the top 5 contries with the fastest internet speed in the world, you're so diverse geographically, stop denigrate, change your vision, romanians are beautiful and smart. Expand your view, enhance your ideas, discover and chage the world positively. Instead of throwing a negative comment use that energy to change something and think more about the consequences of your acts in general. Peace!

    • @05biglaur

Calistrat Hogaș I see from your channel that your motto is:"Fu.k life, I hate everything", that explains this comment full of hate and the narrow minded thinking. Gypsies came from India and the authorities were unable to make them adapt the rules of the society. I Hope you get well soon, smile and enjoy the world. P.S. I think gay people are alright:)

11:17.. I can't believe no one told him this is the house Vlad the Impaler was born, hence the name. The front is a small restaurant but they let you go to the back rooms. They show what is thought to be the room he was born. The rooms are lit up in red with a few paintings on the wall. He really missed out by not stopping in there.

People are so stupid to vote and elect a political party that is stealing from the country and their citizens and the party is mocking them by voting rules in favor of the party so that they can steal legally. Almost the worst country in the world and the stupidest so yeah, dont go to Romania, its a trap!!

@Oricand, i feel so sorry that you dont know who founded and who were the first leaders of PSD. I dont care under what mask they are going and hidding now, they can call themselves democrats, you can call them the same but i know the founders of this party who they were and i pity the people from there that they still believe in them after all they did to that country, i pity the land cause you have beautiful land and nature but in rest is total chaos! If you are young and live there, run boy run, you can build a future for yourself.

Man I haven't seen a train car like that in over a decade. They replaced most of them with more modern ones, bought second hand from Austria, I believe. But they still keep some of them on the slowest trains on certain routes, the ones that stop at every little village station and, as you can see, not many people ride them. No reason to up the costs for something people barely use. What you experienced are the OG Romanian train cars. If you lifted the toilet seat up, you could've said hi to the train tracks. It's just a literal whole in the floor there.

if it stops in every station it's a 3rd class train, the worse train you can get
there is nobody on that train because it's so slow and ugly that everyone avoids it
on some routes you can get trains that have showers, restaurants and beds if you pay extra & book a place in advance
please note that on the Arad - Brasov line the trains run slow because there is a huge EU project to modernize the railway

Romania I think that is intentionally leaving their trains to die, but the system of buses and planes is fantastic. You travel for 15-20 euros from Transylvania to Bucharest by plane, and all the buses are in good condition (no difference compared to the States). You should also USE AIRBNB in Romania, it's really developing. And ask about Cazare where you "Cazare" sign. It's also full of pensions, just look for PENSIUNEA. You already stayed at "pensiuni". They are much cheaper than the hotels and some have better conditions. Hotels are also good in Romania, but not all of them especially the 3 star ones. 4-5 stars are all awesome level. Restaurants are also very good. Normally if you visit Eastern Europe, Romania is really good level. Sometimes better than in West.

Andrej....I'm over here in Texas (USA) but have always been fascinated by Siberia. Every time I come across a documentary about it---I make sure to watch it. There's just something about the natural beauty, and the remoteness of it, that interests me. I like seeing how the people live in that far-flung, scarcely populated environment. I assume they have a tough, strong nature as well...to endure the winters! It's such an interesting place. I would love to see Gabriel make some videos from there. One night I stayed up for many hours searching out videos on Siberia, one after the other...couldn't stop watching....it's a fascinating area of Russia. Have you thought of making videos of your town? I would watch them for sure!

Really like your down-to-Earth style of presentation. So many vlogs come across glossy and touristy. Your videos come out real! Good choices in music also.

the reason the train was abandoned is because that type of train is usually only used by locals. and because the villages in that area are pretty small, there are not usually a lot of people. and the reason why they looked so bad is because they dont make enough money to be replaced, but taking them out completely would be terrible for some locals. and yeah, most people who travel by train take the faster ones, which are the only ones id recommend.

Very lovely tranquil little medieval town there where big stone arches with spiked gates :) but I wonder what life was like with Vlad Dracul growing up there ? Hmmm, those giant spiked gates, not many people in this town, I think this place is haunted at night , mhmm . . .
