The tradition of a kickstarter should be continued on with modern motorcycles. If you can't kick start you bike.. then perhaps you shouldn't ride!
You ever heard of" work smarter not harder" I don't want a broken angle just trying to go for a spin on my bike. Fk the old school sh..t give me an electric start. I'm all for old school but I have my limits
Electric starts are great when you gotta get up for work at 4 AM and don’t feel like exerting any energy. Kickstarts are great for feeling badass in public on the weekends. Both have their place lol
Back in the DAY 71 bought first bike..BSA 441 Victor..sharp looking w/ yellow gas tank.. Huge single cyl w/ a compression release.. Trying to start and couldn't get the timing right for the release.. Gas on ,choke, on it's kick stand.. I'm a thin[125ish] 19yo and precede to stand on the kickstart both feet..Hand on comprelease and start to jump down as hard as i can and let out the release and well not at right time as it kicked back and i had a limp for over a 2 day.. 2 days brought back to dealer and bought a HONDA 450 twin w/ ELECT start..No Harley's,Norton's, BSA's for me, but appreciate the look n feeling..Ah memories,
I've had my battery die in the middle of a trip before and I wish it was a Kickstart or had a emergency option for a Kickstart

I’ll take my metric cruiser with the electric start at half the price and more power anyway. Funny to see the Harley bois look surprised/happy when it actually starts up.
