Candace Owens slammed rep. Ted Lieu for playing an audio clip of her talking about Adolf Hitler and nationalism without giving context to her response. She said Lieu "extracted" a segment to create a "narrative." She also slammed Democrats for not attending the embassy opening in Jerusalem.

Of course she doesn't speak for the black community just as most other who'd like to think they speak for the black community really don't and all black people don't think alike either, doesn't change the fact that she's still a black woman at the end of the day and can speak to the black experience.

This is why we're doomed as a society. People have deeply held beliefs about things that are refuted with the click of a mouse.

The first part of this was Mr. Liu saying "
"I don't know Miss Owens so I'm not going to characterize her, I'm going to let her own words do the talking". He then said; "I'm going to play for you the first thirty seconds of a statement she made about Hitler".
So he made it clear this was not the entire statement, and he never made any such "assumption". Maybe they should play the entire interaction and see that Candace brought "black people" into it with no provocation to do so.
