It's also true that dead people did vote in the 2020 election but that's not really exclusive to the 2020 election that's been happening for decades. The 2020 election had plenty widespread irregularity from people receiving unrequested absentee ballets to dysfunctional voting machines changing votes from one candidate to another to poll watchers not being able to actually watch votes being counted, it's no wonder that people were so pissed off about such an insecure election. I am going to college for free (computer engineer) and excelling in it, a college of all other ethnic groups too with. I can do anything I put my mind to. I have teachers and btw, they are white and are not racist and treat me the same as others, with the heart for me to succeed. Why do I say that? Because I was told that for me as a Black American college in a pwi would be more difficult because of racism by a Black American in my life. Turns out the exact opposite is true. Much of what was told to me about white people is untrue. The same Black Americans who told me these things are in deep oppression and are not succeeding so I pray for them to wake up and see the lord in their life and the freedom that they have. Yes I am free and I will make it. And if I can do it, other Black Americans can do it too

I speak specifically about white people because that is who has been seen as the oppressor and villian the entire time in the black community where I am from (not speaking for all of the black community but from my area and experience). I have been told by other Black Americans that white people are the problem, and that Black people can't get ahead because of systemic oppression and white people oppressing. I have to say that is a load of crap. What's stopping black people are black people with racial oppression in the mind like I had for one week before God set me free. Most white people will give Black people a chance. My experience speaks for itself. Most white people are willing to help black people if black people stop playing victim and actually do the work. Sure there are racist white people but they aren't most like the media makes it out to be and they don't have power. Racism also comes in every form, but it's not common to experience racism like the media makes it out to be and what's mostly thought of as racism may not be racism, but a perception of it only because it's a conflict between two different ethnic groups for some other reason. Some Black Americans (not all and I am not even saying most) need to understand that they are not entitled to special treatment and entitled because we are Black American. Yes we deserve to be valued as a human being and ethnically appreciated. But not everybody will appreciate us but it's safe to say that most do. Racial oppression is being loud because the media broadcast something not common to make it seem common.

As a black woman I'm appalled by the BLM movement as a corporation. The statement itself doesn't bother me. It's turning a 3-word statement it into a monetary gain. I often wondered what's the reasoning for needing donations... were they buying bus tickets and paying for lodging and food for people to travel to protests? Were they paying medical or legal bills for people injured or arrested at protests? No! They simply took this 3 word slogan and preyed on people's emotions and got rich! And I'm not justifying nor condemning any reasons as to why ppl protest to begin with, I'm simply not in agreement with this movement being monetized and with the BLM founder being an opportunist and exploiting the same group of people she claims to care so much about.
