Those clips becoming a little bit brittle might he due to the heat between the panel and the roof. Can get toasty and plastic hates long term heat exposure.
Why are you removing these temprorarily ? We have moved away from enphase and got shorter strings with DC optimizers on the edges were the chimney is or a weather station carrier. Needs less investment, does not require the whole day energy as the previous ones which used about 3W per panel. And that added up a lot.
Dave is putting the panels into the road. He has come to see the light...SOLAR FREAKING ROADWAYS FOR THE WIN! LOL...
Solar Freeekin' Driveways and Patio ways and Deckways and Swimmin' Pool waves! 🤣🤣🤣
@@plusmanikantanr driveway is better than the road since most people are at work during the day...and much less wear & tear!
@@oambrosia Line the swimming pool with them. The water will amplify the rays and produce more electrons. 😇
Tried, but they keep breaking when I drive over them.
@@EEVblogLOL! You need to get that Aussie funding...

are you replacing the panels Dave?...seemed to be a major component missing! :P
So what was the reason for ripping them out?
Preparing for big home renovations
Putting them in his driveway.
@@ncot_tech 🤣
Making way for the diving board?
Solar freakin driveway
Those microinverters create a heap of nasty noise on the HF bands.
Your gutters must be full of electrons.
Got the feeling that there was something missing.

So no dramas with them so far? Would recommend?
No dramas at all.
what's the point of the led if they are hidden under the panels?
You can look under and see it. Not meant for everyday use, but probably useful for troubleshooting/install.
Those clips shouldn't be getting brittle already with a system that is supposed to run for decades.
In general service they woudln't be unplugged/replugged too often after initial install though?
@@JamesTK no, but they should be serviceable without breaking.
He turned them on, then took them apart.
Are you upgrading from intermittent dirty imported solar to reliable clean cheap sustainable native nuclear?
adding another floor to the house O_o
Interesting. Teardown, please :)
They are potted.
@@EEVblog2 yeah, pretty reasonable given the application.
