I decided to spice things up by putting all the food idioms in the following sentences. Since your teaching program is not a lemon and the quality is not cheesy, I am kind of attracted to it. As you said its your bread and butter and both of you bring home tha bacon, I will give you thumbs up. But since you are not single any more you are not my cup of tea any longer. In a nutshell, I need to keep cool as a cucumber by not putting all my eggs in just one basket....funny

English is my first language and that "spill the beans" reference reminded me of a game we used to have called 'Don't Spill the Beans.' It had a pot and each player placed a bean on top but the person whose bean spilled the entire contents would be the loser. That game seemed to reinforce the importance of not spilling the beans.
What? Like "The president of my native country has a smile that's worse than cheesy; it calls up images of sharks on the hunt."
