You gave me so much hype when watching this .Im really feeling hands builds of lugia especially “the sauce” build and the sheamankes build as well ,great video man and explanation of everything
This was an awesome video! I would definitely watch more in this style. It helped me to understand the utility of wydeer, I have only played heavy Cincinno builds
Started collecting Pokemon again in late 2021 right after celebrations dropped. Mid 2022 started playing the TCG with battle academy being my first decks and making decks. Lugia was my first meta deck when Pokemon live came to mobile in 2023 and has been my favorite deck! Love lugia VSTAR!
I've been playing the Irida for a little while now and it's amazing! I've been thinking about swapping out the jamming tower for a lost vacuum, which is both searchable with Irida and thins the hand of dead cards to make gift stronger
Question I go to multiple shops for challenges and cups ,I don’t know my local meta so what build of lugia is more reliable? I’ve played the both cincinno and the double iron build I love both lol 😅
As someone who brought Lugia to worlds - I wish I watched this beforehand 💀. Still played fine but there were definitely some intricacies that I should have drilled into my head which I had to think through in the fly.
13:23 isn't two DTE attach only 190 - 40 = 150 x 2 = 300 damage on Gardevior EX for weakness? she has 310 HP how does this equal a KO? are we assuming she's attached energy?
Sorry should have clarified here and with the Wyrdeer stuff that there’s almost always some damage on the Gardevoir if they’re swinging with it. If that’s not the case then just adjust accordingly
@@DeadDrawGaming. okay that's what I had thought just wanted to clarify as well for others just incase! amazing guide nontheless re-ignited my love for the Lugia!!
What do u think about having 4 boss orders? And also no flutter mane? How do we deal with iron thorns without if opponent is only going to bench iron thorns
Forgot to include this info in the video my bad. With the heavy iron hands build, you generally want to go first since your plan is to Hands as fast as possible. Some matchups where I want to go 2nd are Charizard (scarier in Shrouded Fable cause of Dusclops but still correct cause the matchup is rough), Miraidon, and generally against decks that want to go 2nd. I think in Shrouded Fable making a build that primarily goes 2nd might be correct.
@@DeadDrawGaming. Can you explain your thought process for going second against zard? I'm not good at all, but ive found myself drawing dead and not being able to get anything benched before a zard or other 2nd turn attack decks take out my active. If I go first, then im basically guaranteed to at least get something on the bench before a KO attack can happen, but that might just be me because I'm bad.
Yeah Zard is really your most problematic meta matchup for the Cinccino-less version, especially if they're bringing Lugia techs like Temple of Sinnoh. Devo might be ok, just hard to guarantee you'll find it when you need it especially after an Unfair Stamp/Iono. At that point just going back to the Cinccino version is probably better.
Completely forgot to mention mirror my fault haha. Future booster is a huge buff in the matchup, letting you Amp a Lugia VSTAR for 3 prizes. Can KO that and a Lumineon for 6 prizes. Otherwise try to limit opponent’s Cinccinos and amp them as quickly as possible.
If you play the Cinccino version, Fluttermane if you tech it, otherwises pray to draw into boss If you play the iron hands version, Iron bundle is your best friend
One of the most detailed and informative videos I've watched recently. Thanks for your great work.

Thank you! Looking forward to an update in Shrouded Fables.
Yoooo lugia 👀👀👀 a free masterclass on a dope deck 👀👀

That spicy deck list got me 13th place in a 40+ cup. Had so much fun playing it
Nice class layout 👍 keep it up.

Vacuum sounds solid!
@@DeadDrawGaming. It feels worth a test but thinking about it, it's probably not a great idea if you're worried about snorlax
Cant afford 2 iron hands is a vibe.

I'd say play whatever build you feel most comfortable with and slowly learn what your local meta is and then switch for that if you must!

Yes, so at least 20 damage already on Gardy

canceling cologne also works
New player here - how do you KO benched pokemon at 34:13?
Just with Boss's Orders or Iron Bundle, my wording was a bit confusing there sorry!
Would you go first or 2nd ? 1st every match up ?

Thank you. I have been going first all the time lol with the cinccino build.

It's kinda awkward but if zard really dominates the meta maybe you could find a way to use devolution in the list.

so nearing stellar crown, rats or no rats in the last few weeks before the set is legal
This is pure gold, definitely trying the sauce
