Surya Bhedana Pranayama, also known as "Right Nostril Breathing" or "Sun-Piercing Breath," is a yogic breathing technique that involves inhaling through the right nostril and exhaling through the left nostril. In Sanskrit, "Surya" means "sun" and "Bhedana" means "to pierce" or "penetrate," so this practice is believed to activate the solar energy within the body. Here's how to practice Surya Sodhana Pranayama.
Surya Sodhana Pranayama, also known as "Right Nostril Breathing" or "Sun Cleansing Breath," is a variation of the Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) pranayama. It involves breathing through the right nostril while keeping the left nostril closed. The word "Sodhana" means purification or cleansing in Sanskrit. Here's how to practice Surya Sodhana Pranayama.

Help full for me too.
Hiya! Thanks for your videos, I find them really helpful, specially the corrections for different abilities.
I was taught this breathing differently, or maybe is a different pranayama? I inhale through the right nostril, exhale through left one, then inhale through left and exhale right, inhale right... and so on. Basically it's inhaling through the same nostril I just exhaled, six sets.
It works wonders for me, I end up having a total calm and relaxed feeling. I practice it before bedtime, whenever I'm too anxious, sometimes before going to work. 😊
that was narisodhan
@@Rahulsol Thanks!!!
