Saying Jon could trust Mance is kinda dumb, sure he is trustworthy but he could never ever guarantee for a 100k literal wildlings not to steal kill and rape south of the wall
Now you’re watching the beginning of the part that didn’t follow the books, curious if you will notice any difference in the writing having not read the books yet.
You need to react to Coldplay's Game of thrones The musical (full 12 minutes version). British band Coldplay join with the Cast of GOT (after they finish to record season 4) to make this vídeo for charity (red nose day). Don't worry as there's no spoilers. I can assure you that you gonna love it. It's 12 minutes of fun and maybe for once Pudgey will cry of laughing. It's a video that every die-hard fan of GOT have to watch. You will thank me later.
Charles Dance was F A N T A S T I C in his portrayal of Tywin Lannister. Every scene he absolutely commanded. Possibly the most perfect casting choice the show runners could have made for that role.
Also, great how Dance showed Tywin's vulnerability in the scene with Cersei. We saw the only time the character showed true discomfort and weakness--the truth about his progeny, his true legacy. Glad they included that scene before he died. So good!

That scene with Varys is always so funny: Varys: "Good, all according to plan. Time to go hom-" *Bells ring* Varys: *Homer disappears into the bush meme*
He realized it wouldn't take much for Cercei or even the likes of Pycelle to figure out who helped Tyrion escape, they've been buddies for a long time and practically telegraphed their connection during the trial.
I think he also knew that if the bells were ringing in alarm, something major had happened. He knows Tyrion did something. This is clever Varys, I think he also quickly put two and two together and equalled Tywin. In which case he doesn't want to hang around for the likely power struggle.
"The Children" episode title really doing heavy duty. Cersei standing up to Tywin to care for Tommen in her own way. Jaime rescuing Tyrion. And finally Tyrion and Tywin and their contentious relationship. Despite the fact that Tyrion is the most like Tywin among his children, he was always unloved, set aside, and now sentenced to death because he's a dwarf. Jon carrying out the lessons he learned from Ned about honor, leading by example. Dany having to chain two of her dragons up after losing control of Drogo. Bran reaches the heart tree and is the first man in centuries to possibly encounter the Children of the Forest. Such a banger episode!
@@Noone91875 I think the last time we saw Stannis was at the Iron Bank making a withdrawal to buy himself an army. Then after he bought the army they sailed to Eastwatch By the Sea ( I believe it's called ) the wall ends there because of the sea and then Stannis w/ army rode across and ran into Mance, Jon and the rest of the wildlings. That's what I'm assuming.
GAME OF THRONES: *_”We’re gonna give you Jon & Mance in an epic 1v1 sitdown, Daeny imprisoning her dragons after they murdered a little girl, Tyrion murdering Shay, Jamie breaking Tyrion out of jail, a surprise pincer ambush w/Stannis & Davos vs 100,000 Wildlings at the Wall, a Hound & Brienne epic 1v1 battle (to the death?), a Jon & Stannis moment, Varys escaping Kings Landing with Tyrion, a Jon & Tormund moment, a Jon & Ygritte final moment & burial (in the REAL north), Arya being ushered (in comfort) to the free city by Bravosi Knights, Tyrion murdering Tywin Lannister!”_* SPARTAN: *_”I mean, yeah, but why does Cersei get to live?”_*
People sometimes claim it's impossible for Brienne to have beaten the Hound, but keep in mind she had a Valyrian steel sword, elite (brand new) armor, and the Hound was feeling the effects of that bite would he refused to have cauterized, i.e. was physically weakened. And she BARELY beat him. I thought the fight was realistic as hell.
The bite and the infection it caused left him severely weakened. Man hadn't been eating and was fevered out, no way he was beating Brienne in that state
Pudgey is such a smart Game of Thrones viewer. I'm always so impressed at how she catches everything, makes connections and does good analysis on first viewing. I didn't catch everything on my first viewing.
Also, best moment of Stannis imo. "Few of the birds that Aemon had sent off had returned as yet. One reached Stannis, though. One found Dragonstone, and a king who still cared,” and "Lord Seaworth is a man of humble birth, but he reminded me of my duty, when all I could think of was my rights. I had the cart before the horse, Davos said. I was trying to win the throne to save the kingdom, when I should have been trying to save the kingdom to win the throne.” Stannis pointed north. “There is where I’ll find the foe that I was born to fight.”
I don't think Stannis was rightfully portrayed in the series then. I always saw him as a weak guy, I never saw him as a king. Book quotes like these makes me think he was really different in the books 🤔
Yeah they changed it from the books... Tyrion was more commanding and threatning to Varys in the books, made him take him to the Hand chamber... But it was a good change, Varys was like... NOPE.... Gotta fuck off now :))
Varys getting the hell up outta there as he hears the bells tolling to signify they've found the body of the Hand tells you all you need to know about the significance of this death is. When you think about it this is probably the single most consequential death based on the fallout and repercussions it goes on to have. Ned and Robb's death hit us all a lot harder on a character level, but this one is the most consequential.
I would say King Robert's death, then Ned's death were the most consequential and then Tywin after. I mean Robert's death plus Ned's arrest and death started the war of the 5 kings. That's damn consequential!
This season is the story of the Lannister fall from grace. They win everything only to lose everything. They remain nominally in power, but the foundation has cracked. The summary I always post at the end of this season reflects that rise & fall via the fortunes of one Tywin Lannister. The season starts with Tywin melting Ned's sword, at the peak of his power. Renly killed, Stannis defeated, Robb murdered, Greyjoys almost forced out of the North...House Lannister is finally the unchallenged masters of Westeros. The season ends with Tywin's downfall, not at the hand of any enemy, but brought down by his own hubris, murdered by his own son. During the last moments of his life Tywin finally has to come to terms about his grandchildren. For someone who valued family legacy more than the actual family, that had to be a devastating blow knowing his grandsons were not legitimate heirs. His victory is built on quicksand. This episode is fittingly titled "The Children" for the Children of the Forest, but it's also about Cersei, Jaime & Tyrion each in their own ways rebelling against the Lannister patriarch, with the last one ending up being fatal. A season ago Tyrion had a great line, "Seven Kingdoms united in fear of Tywin Lannister". Tywin held together a country in civil war with sheer force of personality. Now that glue is gone. Now that "gaping pit" has opened up. Now it's time for the Crows to Feast.
This might be a hot take but this is my second favorite GoT episode after that other finale! And the portrayal of Shae might be the single best original spin the show ever did.
@@Tormund_Giantsbrain they're stupid to do this tbh if they wanted to change shae then don't have the same ending and if you for some reason wanted to do the same ending don't make tyrion the victim and the centrist jesus
@@harsh_1910 I gotta agree to disagree. While Tyrion does come off as more of a victim here, it's pretty consistent with Tyrion's portrayal in the show up till now. Even here I don't believe he comes off solely as a victim. The story they told about Tyrion-Tywin-Shae from S1 onwards is more a circular firing squad of mutual recriminations. I think I know where you're going with this. I just don't think the Tysha angle would've fit GoT Tyrion as there was not enough set up done of that side of Tyrion's character for the revelation to have worked. Not to mention that's a different argument from how good GoT Shae is.
"And through the smoke another wedge of armored riders came, on barded horses. Floating above them were the largest banners yet, royal standards as big as sheets; a yellow one with long pointed tongues that showed a flaming heart, and another like a sheet of beaten gold, with a black stag prancing and rippling in the wind. Robert, Jon thought for one mad moment, remembering poor Owen, but when the trumpets blew again and the knights charged, the name they cried was “Stannis! Stannis! _STANNIS!"_
Spartan: "God damn dude, does the episode end here? No way! It actually didn't end on a horrible note. I'm...surprised!" Best way to describe the season finale, when you're finally not a sweet summerchild anymore and you're always expecting the worst because of it😆
Your discussions and chemistry with each other is why you're my favorite reactors right now. The dialogs before and after the show is a real treat. Keep up the great work, guys!
I really love the interaction between Brienne and The Hound this episode. Specifically when Brienne asks "So that's what your doing, watching over her?" and The Hounds response is "Aye that's what I'm doing". It's almost one of the first times that The Hound admits a genuine care for Arya and her well being. Their journey together began as The Hound wanting to retrieve a bounty and has grown to a point where he actually cares for her well being and is willing to put his life on the line to protect her from Lannister control through Brienne. Although WE know that Brienne is good at heart and actually wants Arya's safety, THE HOUND doesn't know that and assumes that Brienne is just going to take her back into Lannister control which he doesn't want for Arya because of how much he has grown to care for her.
23:14 Why is he so clueless? Ygritte shot Jon 3 times to inflict pain on him after she felt pain when he abandoned her after she risked so much for him. As the man said once before, if Ygritte had wanted Jon Snow dead he would have been so, she never misses.

This episode really demonstrates how badly Tyrion was screwed over. His father sentenced him to death for a crime he didn't commit, then his father hypocritically slept with the woman he loved, his words about Shae were proven to be right and he became a kinslayer all in the same night. No man can be the same after going through all of that!
From the book, it is surmise-able that Tywin created the secret tunnel to go from the Tower of the Hand to the brothel. And the reason he was so interested in Tyrion's whore is because he had already slept with Shae prior to the Battle of the Green fork. He is a hypocrite to the extreme.
That line where Tyrion says, "I am your son. I have always been your son" is meant to be the biggest insult ever after having shot Tywin. It's an admission that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and that Tyrion is just as evil as his father. It's one of the cleverest insults I think I've seen in film.
The hound and brienne - that fight was awesome and I think everyone struggled with it, because we love both of them and we don't want to lose one of them😅😂 Great reaction so far, as always❤
Important to note that the Hound was suffering from an infection. Arya mentioned on the previous episode that his wound had him moving a lot slower than normal. Not to say Brienne isn't an outstanding warrior, but the Hound wasn't at 100% RIP.

Greetings from Oklahoma, USA. I’m enjoying your reactions and sharing the journey through the GOT world. It’s like watching the series again for the first time. Thank you for all of the time and fort you put into getting your content out.
In Martin’s books he tells more about the children of the forest as tales that people recall to each other, an oral history. It’s not a one time shock. This episode is a good example of how D&D condensed Martin’s expansive universe to squeeze in necessary plot points to make it to the end of the story. Really love your excellent pre and post episode commentary and your appreciation for the story itself. ❤
Few of the birds that Aemon had sent off had returned as yet. One reached Stannis, though. One found Dragonstone, and a king who still cared. A thousand leagues south, Sam knew, his father had joined House Tarly to the cause of the boy on the Iron Throne, but neither King Joffrey nor little King Tommen had bestirred himself when the Watch cried out for help. What good is a king who will not defend his realm? he thought angrily, remembering the night on the Fist of the First Men and the terrible trek to Craster's Keep through darkness, fear, and falling snow.
It was good but idk , bran section is weird and too magical for me , it felt so out of place , the big drama with ygritte is a little too much and Daenerys part is still boring
One of my fav episodes definitely, I have to say that after I watched GoT a second time back then before season 8 came out, I realized how much I love Cersei as a character, this show wouldnt be the same without her, Lena Headeys acting is just too good, and the best is yet to come from her.
This was actually the reaction I was waiting for. It is a pretty BIG upheaval that Tyrion just did that. It is a shame that He and Tywin could never share a bond. Tyrion was the heir Tywin needed.
Tywins hatred and disgust towards Tyrion was his ultimate downfall. Had he nurtured Tyrion with him being very smart instead of the opposite I think the Lannisters would have been unstoppable. Ultimately Tyrion’s upbringing and him being a dwarf gave him a lot of empathy which doesn’t come easily to their family.
@@chezlolxo that kind of upbringing is indeed cruel, but it made him smart and the person he is, otherwise there's a big chance tyrion would be like the twins 😅
Joffreys death, Tyrions Trial, Obryn, Mountain and Viper fight, The watchers on the wall, and then THIS finale!! Season 4 is goddamn amazing. Top tier. Simply the BEST.
The twists and turns without anything being absolutely horrible, makes this my favourite episode in the series up until this point. All the deaths and what not are just so logical, and SO MUCH happens, and even some positives. Like technically this is the halfway point and the Starks vs Lannisters just started turning around. Perfection!
One of the times I really recommend the books is the difference between how the show handles Tywin’s death and the aftermath vs the way it was written. There are conspiracy theories, and more depth in the animosity between Tywin and Tyrion in the books
Watching you guys reactions to GoT brings back so many memories and emotions I had when I first watched the series. I can't wait for you all to finish the remaining seasons since you're halfway there.
I think a lot of people don't really get this Tyrion-Shae thing. For me, the fact that she was sleeping with Tywin was an act of revenge on her part (with maybe a bit of opportunism), because she was angry against Tyrion for the way he treated her earlier (he was in fact trying to protect her by doing so). It's also the reason why she lied against him at the trial. But she misunderstood his real intentions, and thought he was just rejecting her for Sansa because she was a "whore". So in fact, this last scene was just a crime of passion - her sleeping with his father being the last straw for Tyrion - which results from this misunderstanding : he tried to save her by being rude with her, but she resent him, and so it eventually brings her death by his own hands... The finale of season 4 was the finale of impossible love stories : Ygritte and Jon / Shae and Tyrion.
Shae was a lying whore. Well yes she was terrified of Tywin, but she quickly enjoyed being the most poweful man in Westeros' mistress. In the books she almost gets Tyrion to forgive her but makes the fatal mistake of calling him My Giant... as she mocked him by telling about their forplays in open court and the term she used to call him. Fatal mistake that makes Tyrion hate her insantly.
That really doesn't make sense as her 'revenge' would be too disproportionate. Either she was always working for Tywin (unlikely given the way she acted before) or it was just a bit of writing that didn;t quite make sense on the screen - unless we see Shae as some kind of abusive monster which doesn't seem to fit.
Exactly, in the books Shae betrays him because it was in her nature as a whore and the reveal that Tysha was never a whore showed that Tyrion lived his life thinking the only women who could love him were the ones he paid It justified Tywins death more and Jaimes reasons to free him from the dungeon.
This episode originally aired on Father's Day. Twyn will be missed. Wow, I'm so early. Stayed up working so late it's 4 AM here! I'll get some sleep and come back.
Stannis said it himself to Davos in previous episodes some time ago. He saw in the fire a great battle in the snow. He was bound to come to the North at some point.
This was one of my favorite episodes of the entire series! SO much happens! It sets up Bran's journey and finally meeting the three-eyed raven so he can learn what his purpose in this world, but Tyrion's entire sequence at the end was EPIC!
Varys wasn't supposed to leave. He's a member of the Small Council and was using that position to be a 5th Coolum for the Targaryen restoration. But warning bells and the context of the situation meant he realized what had happened. Since Jammie was in on the escape, he'd be outed so he had to flee as well.
Given that you guys want to read the books at some point there is a key factor to consider: Up to now, the differences between the books and the show have been small and most of them can be understood as it is an adaptation. Moving forward though, the differences in season 5 become massive. Therefore, you may want to read books 4/5 alongside watching season 5 to get an idea of how the story deviates, so you can see a bigger picture. Always enjoy your reactions, keep it up!
There are some storylines from season 5 that are from the books, like Dorne, Sansa, Mance etc, but those are so changed in the show that are almost beyond recognition.
Personal opinion, GoT is like hiking in the mountains. With season 4, the best, we reach the top. Now, two choices : either we stay there and enjoy the view, we stay at the top, or and inevitably, we go down. From time to time, we enjoy the beautiful view but the summit is reached and nothing will be as beautiful... I love your reactions, it takes me back years when I watched this serie and I had to wait for a year after each final. (Your french fan 🙂)
@@j.prt.979 People should really get over it already. Also, most of the people watching like me , never read the books and we were not loaded it with that obsession of this world and how it "should be". And I get it. I read most of the books for the Middle Earth (Lord of the Rings) and I get it. For these ones I was super super invested and looked at every movie very critically if they would do the books justice. But I never read these ones prior watchin GoT. So for me in its entirety the show was absolutely brilliant, all of it. Especially season 5 and 6 were just as awesome, again - for me. And what is more, we waited 1 year and a half for season 8. At the end everyone were just so hyped up and out of damn patience. And this is the main reason for me why under every freaking GoT video there are comments like this one. And I am tired because it devalues the fact that there are alot of people like me who do not see Season 4 as the peak. Like I said 1-7 were almost (with little exceptions) equally good for me. And I am almost certain, that for people who watch it now one season after the other w/o waiting years in between seasons (like Spartan and Pudge), it will be not so dramatic downfall.. Actually it might look rather logical and expected. Anyway, I got so tired of seeing these type of comments like they are stating objective truth. For me it is not. I just can't wait for these two and their reactions for what is to come and I expect it will be not what book-readers here would expect :D
@@mindshiftershub. Don’t get me wrong, there are several great episodes and storylines after season 4, but in terms of cohesive storytelling and writing it just isn’t as good.
@@j.prt.979 oh yeah, totally! Put like this I could agree, although for me they are more than several haha. But usually people are too dramatic in the comments sections and it is getting irritating for me.
Funny little detail: Season 4 of GoT came out 2014 pretty much right after The Last of Us game first came out. So around this time a lot of fans kept comparing The Hound’s relationship with Arya to Joel and Ellie. Season 4 also gave us Pedro Pascal, future Joel.
What an excellent emotionally charged end to an incredible roller coster season. For so long everyone always worry and predict that the Lannisters will kill Shae, it's just that they all end up being wrong about WHICH Lannister 😭
The chaining of the dragons broke my heart, always does. Drogon definitely didn't intend to burn a child. We've seen him cook his food recklessly so the poor child was probably too close to goat or got in the way.
I wish people would let those doing reaction videos to just watch the series and make their own opinion about it, without trying to push their own opinions to them about the future episodes, plotlines or seasons before they've even watched them. Hopefully Spartan & Pudgey don't read these comments and just watch the episodes without prejudice or set expectations and react to them just the way they feel about it.
The Hound was clearly weakened from his earlier wound. I got the feeling he cared for both the Stark girls more than anybody else in his life, a real legend. Valar morghulis...
there is a big thing that is omited in the show and only exists in the book but in my opinion that was a huge mistake bc it really shapes Tyrion story. when jaime says goodbye to tyrion he also tells him about his first love, the story tyrion tells shae first time he meets her ( you might wanna go back and watch that), tyrion all this time thought she was paid by his father but that was all a lie that girl really loved him and tywin destroed that by lying to him. that revelation that he( tyrion) had some1 who really loved him really broke him, and it that moment decides to go up to his father and shae. ofc in the show without this story its kinna shocking and weird tgat tyrion will do that. thats why i belive it was a big mistake not to put that in the movie
But how were they ever going to tell Tysha's story in this TV series? In flashback? By having him make repeated references to it? Or do you think that one scene WAAAYY back in season 1 was enough, and that it would still make a big impact three seasons later when Jamie says "oh, by the way, dad made me lie to you about your first wife"? No. In the book, GRRM could keep that story fresh in the reader's mind, because the reader is LITERALLY in Tyrion's head. But it was never going to work on TV. They HAD to make Shae the woman who loved him (which she didn't in the book), and give Tyrion that horrible choice between love and duty. And just like Jon Snow, Tyrion chose duty and it cost him dearly. Pretty good writing, really.
@@balonbuckley1025 I used to agree with your point, but the show refers to Tyrion’s first marriage several times actually… I think they could have pulled it off.
Spartan hates Ygritte because of the simple facts of her shooting John with arrows, but makes excuse after excuses for liking stannis and at one point tywinn. Ygritte died loving man and choosing him over people she'd known her whole life. Which is very hard to do in that or any world. Spartan seems to make excuses for the men doing things that aren't honorable but takes a different stance on women doing less honorable things.
Fun Fact that doesn't really come accrose in the series but The Three-Eyed Raven is A Targaryen Bastard - Brynden Rivers, he's the bastard son of King Aegon IV and his sixth mistress, Lady Melissa Blackwood.
The venom used by Oberyn is called Manticore venom and is stated it's so venomous it could kill and an Elephant and as soon as the poision reach the heart it's insta death. So it's very very unlikely the mountain would survive that XD
I removed your other comment because it has spoilers for an episode they haven't seen yet. Please review the spoiler rules we post on each video. Thank you!

Varys didn't plan on going with Tyrion, hence why he walked back towards the Red Keep. After hearing the bells though, he knew that Tyrion had done something and didn't want to risk being linked to it
Yes, Varys knew what the bells represented and he realised that if he remained in King's Landing his role in freeing Tyrion would be exposed so he had no option but to flee.
Interestingly though, Varys does stay in Kings Landing in the books. He didn't want to help Tyrion, Jaime forced him. Almost every character has "another side" to his/her personality, Varys is no exception but we don't get to see his "evil" side in the show, nor Tyrion's and others'.
@@HochspitzVarys is definitely more slimy and dangerous in the book than in the show, in the book he feels more more of a villian to me but in the show he seems more on the good side.
Tywin’s death, for me, was one of the most shocking moments in all of Game of Thrones. He was one of if not the top player in Westeros and in the end, he’s shot dead on the crapper by the one person he probably never would have expected. He might have hated Tyrion, but I doubt even Tywin ever thought he’d actually kill him.
Tyrion is in shock after seeing Shae had been sleeping with Tywin, and then having to kill her (in self defense, because she was going to alert of his presence there and he was condemned to death). She was his big love, and had been led to betray him by his father. He was deeply traumatized by the whole thing. He would have never planned to kill his own father, but he just did because of that horrible betrayal he was still processing. And he will have to process now that he has killed his lover and his father; which clashes with the kind of person he thought he was.
@@aaronia8092 In the books it was more than that though. When Jamie freed Tyrion, he confessed that he's the one who set the whole thing with his first wife Tysha on Tywin's command. That led to Tyrion cursing Jamie for his betrayal and going to confront Tywin about it. He then finds Shae in Tywin's bed, another betrayal and kills her. He then goes on to confront Tywin about Tysha, not Shae, and asks him where she went after she left casterly rock. Tywin responds with "Wherever whores go", and gets an arrow in the stomach. I understand why they didn't go with this version in the show but I love George's writing so much more

Exactly in fair conditions Brienne wouldn’t beat the Hound. She had a lot of things going for her in this fight
The bite and the infection it caused left him severely weakened. Man hadn't been eating and was fevered out, no way he was beating Brienne in that state
She even had to use a rock.
Brienne is also fucking built different. A legit beast.
"People"...usually dudes. In their mind, there's no way a *girl* could beat The Hound! It's heresy! 🙄
Pudgey is such a smart Game of Thrones viewer. I'm always so impressed at how she catches everything, makes connections and does good analysis on first viewing. I didn't catch everything on my first viewing.
Yes, it makes it a pleasure to watch. Spartan definitely has his moments too.

Other than Tyrion, acting as Hand, the last three damn Hands were killed! Just realized this from your comment
@@NiKiMa023 lol the ones before were also murdered with the exception of jon,
I would say King Robert's death, then Ned's death were the most consequential and then Tywin after. I mean Robert's death plus Ned's arrest and death started the war of the 5 kings. That's damn consequential!
Yeah, Tywin held the continent together and the show. The beginning of the fall has started.
Varys: “I’ve always hated the bells, they ring for horror”
@@IAmJustR Same! That's such a subversive shot.
GRRM himself said he loves this Shae more.
I'm...surprised!"
Best way to describe the season finale, when you're finally not a sweet summerchild anymore and you're always expecting the worst because of it😆
Not sure if you noticed, but the necklace Tyrion used to strangle Shae is the same necklace he gave her as a gift in season 2.
For hands of gold are always cold, but a woman's hands are warm
Fun fact, in the books the hand has a chain made of hands rather than a pin and that chain is what Tyrion used
Pudgey's empathy for the characters is a beautiful thing to watch

Poor little Tommen lost both of his grandfathers on Father's Day. 😢
God I forgot how freaking epic this episode was.
This is my favorite episode. Always.
And it's right after the battle at the wall. Season 4 is absolutely stacked.

Why not just pin this comment to the top?
Tywin brought this upon himself, he even said it, "Tyrion's a Lannister, and every day that he remains a prisoner the less our name commands respect".
And to believe that in the books it's even worse with that Tysha stuff, man Tyrion really got the horrible end of the stick

I have to say that Pudgey is far more sharper than Spartan when it comes to the understanding of certain scenes and situations 😅

One of my fav episodes definitely, I have to say that after I watched GoT a second time back then before season 8 came out, I realized how much I love Cersei as a character, this show wouldnt be the same without her, Lena Headeys acting is just too good, and the best is yet to come from her.
Fun fact. This episode aired on Fathers Day. And that was Joffrey cross brow that Tyrion used to shoot Tywin.
I like the fact these 2 are genuine in their reactions. They don’t seem forced.

Sadly Tysha was omitted from the show, the scene when Jaime tells the truth about her was so good and really impactfull in the book.
Well that goes for allot of things. I think the abridgement off the Catelyn storyline changed the story a lot.
Tyrion did tell the story on the show. but you're right, it was a missed opportunity for the show to never rectify that.
Also him going back for Tywin doesn't make a whole lot of sense without it.
Exactly, in the books Shae betrays him because it was in her nature as a whore and the reveal that Tysha was never a whore showed that Tyrion lived his life thinking the only women who could love him were the ones he paid
It justified Tywins death more and Jaimes reasons to free him from the dungeon.
Though after reading a Dance With Dragons, not hearing Tyrion say “where do whores go” ever 15 seconds for hundreds of pages is worth the omission.
This episode originally aired on Father's Day. Twyn will be missed.

But warning bells and the context of the situation meant he realized what had happened. Since Jammie was in on the escape, he'd be outed so he had to flee as well.
Given that you guys want to read the books at some point there is a key factor to consider:
Up to now, the differences between the books and the show have been small and most of them can be understood as it is an adaptation.
Y’all are easily some of my favorite reactors on UA-cam! Love your content

This is the most poetic take I’ve ever seen for this
Well, I guess that would be true if seasons 5-8 were at the same level as say, season 1 (the metaphorical beginning of the hike). But they are not.

This really is the halfway mark. So many of the story arcs reached watershed moments. So much more to come. . .
Ladies and gentlemen. This is a peakest of peak tv right there. Fking legendary season.
Watching u you two discuss this episode made me emotional as how excited and jolly you were made me remember my past
Arya making it out of the war is absolutely one of the best victories in the whole story.

💯
He can like whoever he enjoys watching… No need to go deep with it
Yes!!! 🤢🤢
Tywin and Stannis are two of the best characters on the whole show
Really trying to call him sexist because he didn’t like the character that shot John full of arrows? Pathetic.
Fun Fact that doesn't really come accrose in the series but The Three-Eyed Raven is A Targaryen Bastard - Brynden Rivers, he's the bastard son of King Aegon IV and his sixth mistress, Lady Melissa Blackwood.
"They was so rich, so everybody thought that Tywin Lannister can shit gold. And now, Tirion could see that Tywin Lannister didnt"
The venom used by Oberyn is called Manticore venom and is stated it's so venomous it could kill and an Elephant and as soon as the poision reach the heart it's insta death.
So it's very very unlikely the mountain would survive that XD
Been waiting for this episode's reaction since forever ❤
My favorite GoT episode of all time. All the plotlines came together in such a great way. Beautifully done. Enjoy this moment, you two.
Woohoo !! I love getting the Spartan and Pudgey GOT notifications.
I removed your other comment because it has spoilers for an episode they haven't seen yet. Please review the spoiler rules we post on each video. Thank you!
@@suddenimpulse030 I am so sorry I totally forgot. Thank you for removing it and i wont let that happen a second time. Again I'm very sorry !!
YESS! Perfect timing before I go to work to watch your reaction to this incredible season finale! Thanks guys for never disappointing! 🥰
It's 2 am where I live and I need to sleep so I’ll watch it later as soon as I can. Just wanted to say hi and I can't wait to see your reaction to this amazing season finale. 🤗 Definitely the best season of the show. However, there is still a lot of epicness waiting for you guys.
Pudgey is very observant, she's pretty spot on when she has a guess.
The music at the end of this episode is amazing and they timed the cut to black on the perfect note
Brienne is already like a top 10 fighter in Westeros so with the addition of the Valyrian steel sword she’s pretty much unstoppable
And I think they gave The Hound a bit of an out, with that neck/shoulder infection from the bite.
Arguably my favorite episode of the entire series..couldn't wait for your reactions and I wasn't disappointed.. XO
I understand why they didn't go with this version in the show but I love George's writing so much more
Watching Brienne and the Hound fight was so hard. Both of them just wanted to protect Arya. I was like, "No, stop, I love you both!"😂
Amazing season, great finale, and just as good reaction, thanks guys!
Thanks for uploading it this quick guys. You have no idea how many time I visit your UA-cam page just to see if you have uploaded more got content. Speaking of which I should probably subscribe to your channel.😅
The end of tywin means the diminishing of the lannister dinasty, IMO.
Varys didn't mean to leave at first, but as soon he realized Tywin was dead, he knew his implication would mean death at the mercy of Cersei, of all people, so my guy dipped immediately
4.9 and 4.10 are the best two season ending shows I’ve seen; nearly equaled by 6.9 and 6.10
This finale was like THANKSGIVING you eat it all up cuz it's SOOOO GOOD and end up SO FULL you can't digest lol.....soo much happened I remember watching live and was like you guys like HOLY S#!+
