Great job on the ribs. I don;t have the smoke issue, because I put the ribs on a tray, not the rack. The jiuces just run off the meat and onto the drip tray at the bottom and start burning after a while...hence the smoke. Season 'em as usual, then place them on a tray, then you can leave 'em in the fryer until they're done. The added benefit of having the ribs on the tray is that the ribs will cook in their own juices, making them even MORE tender. This works, trust me. Meat's too expensive to ruin!
Hey Ken nice first try doing Air Fryer Ribs they looked good and I'm sure they tasted pretty good. Oh!...I'm sure good old Charley had a great laugh of the smoke in your kitchen 🤣 😄. You and the family have a wonderful weekend and stay safe out there. Cheers
My husband and I have practically the same one but its the Power Airfryer 360 plus. We have done steak, pork, chicken, even fish in ours. At Thanksgiving, I will make Green Bean Casserole in it because normally the bird takes up the entire oven. Turned out pretty good. We have yet to try ribs in ours.
Yes, it’s basically the same cooker. I love mine. We use it a lot, especially in the colder months when I can’t get outside. These ribs came out really good, but I may re address this cook in the future. Next time, I will probably start in the foil for two or three hours and then finish out of the foil. Either way, these came out good, but don’t be afraid to experiment a little. Thanks for watching!
@@KenRogersMostlyOutdoors where did you buy the extra crisper and racks? We may buy the family size one of yours. Suppose to be able to do a whole 14lb turkery in that one.
I bought an upgraded version of the Emeril 360 that came with the extras. I’m assuming that you can still get them through the website; but I’m not 100% sure.
Love your channel and recipes! I used the air fryer for parts 2 & 1 of the 3-2-1 method and they turned out amazing! Head Country rub is popular here in Oklahoma and for part 2 I use my own BBQ sauce. Keep up the great vids!
Thanks so much! I will play with this cook some more for sure. I normally prefer to just smoke ribs outside, but I just had to find out. Lol Thanks for watching!
If you wrap your grease tray in foil you’ll have less smoke n easy cleanup.also I air fried mine 400 for 40 min.no wrapping,no mess.no sauceing.excellant
Thank you for this video - trying this today. Two slabs, cut in half - wrapped in foil packets - sat them in the basket of our Emeril Lagasse French Door Air Fryer 360 - 300 Degrees at 2.5 hours!!! Fingers crossed...
This is awesome! Thanks so much! I really need to do an update video on this cook. I have done a couple more cooks since that video and frankly, wrapping it first is the best way. I’m so glad this worked out for you!
Pretty good idea and hey they didn’t look too bad at all Ken! Famous Dave’s is good, some good sauces too. Good thing you didn’t burn down the house, the fire department would never let you live it down. :) Have a great weekend!
Thank you a lot,my wife and i just got the same fryer, also you made me very hungry. Thanks a bunch,However I'm going to use my own dry rub sauce on the side
Hi Ken, new subscriber here...The ribs look really good! I live in a tiny apartment and use a small bench top oven for practically everything! Every time I try something like this the smoke goes everywhere, all the doors and windows get opened smoke alarms go off it's a nightmare! I've never seen or heard of Famous Dave's Rib Rub but that and the sugar free BBQ sauce both looked like they did the job very nicely. Great cooking, thanks for sharing this and take care!
Lol… thanks so much! Honestly, I hadn’t had that machine too awfully long when I shot that video. I promise you that it isn’t that clean looking anymore.
Hi Tiffany... thanks for watching! I will see if I can come up with a cleaning video, but I will tell you that we all struggle together on this machine. Lol. Don’t get me wrong, my machine is cleaned a lot, but I get the same staining that everyone else gets. I have learned to live with it. Lol
Yes it would. However this video was made to answer a question about being done in this cooker. Ideally, I would smoke this outdoors. Thanks for watching!
The infomercial says that you save 40% cooking time. Looking at your cooking experience, it looks like that too is another lie. Thank you for your "honest" review.
Hey brother Ken I had a question for you... I have the emril legasse pressure cooker as well as the 360 air fryer and i havent used either of them, Which would you say is more bang for your buck?
Honestly, I don’t know the answer to that. I only have the 360 air fryer. I’ve seen others with the pressure cooker and they seem to love them. I just have no experience to speak of on this one.
I bought an upgraded version at the time that had extra racks. I’m not 100% sure, but I’m assuming that you can get the updated set from their website.
Sugar free BBQ sauce? I am diabetic, that sounds great, most sauces have lots of brown sugar or high fructose corn syrup in them. Looks good, nice video.
What have you figured out , how to stop most of the smoke ? I done a rotisserie chicken . I will never do a chicken in the house again . keep up the vids . today gonna try some pork steaks .
I probably won’t do that cook again without using the baking pan as a catch pan. That got a little too messy. It did come out good tho. Lol thanks so much for watching!
I did as the recipe book calls for: slow cook at 225 for three hours ... put foil in the basket ... no smoke ... no issues and awesome outcome! Tender, juicy.... I have 360 delux; works great...my rotisserie chickens are also awesome! Purdue chicken works the best....
The reason you have so much smoke is bcos you didn't put a pan UNDER those ribs to protect the heating elements from the fats dripping on to them. I'd like to see what the cooking results would be if you did that as the heating elements would be covered by the pan, thereby changing the way the heat is being distributed with the elements being covered by the pan on the lower level.

Hey from Fairdale old buddy. Thanks for the rib "How to", just bought an air fryer, and will be following in your footsteps on this one for sure!

Awesome and thanks for the tips. Do ribs outside all the time, but had to give it a try inside. I will give it a go again at some point.!Thanks!
Bruce do you wrap your ribs in foil for the entire 40 min?

*Update* The Babybacks made in our Airfryer this evening (2-20-24) were AMAAAAAAAZING. Thank you - they literally fell off the bone!!

I haven't used that rub yet either, so I guess I'm the only one left😂 These ribs look amazing 🤤
Yep.. it’s all on you now! Lol It is a good rub. Thanks Resa!

Cookies all I use, on chicken too...

Those ribs look good Ken! Nice work!
Thank you, Erika!
How do you get the inside of your oven that clean? Mine is gross
Lol… thanks so much! Honestly, I hadn’t had that machine too awfully long when I shot that video. I promise you that it isn’t that clean looking anymore.
OMG I asked the same thing!!!
Thank you for the tips on cooking ribs! My first attempt came out pretty awesome thanks to your video.
Thanks so much! I’m glad it worked out good for you! As good as these ribs were, I need to update this cook. Stay tuned!
Hey I enjoy watching videos. Question can you show how to clean this air fryer 🥴 I’m struggling!!

@@KenRogersMostlyOutdoors Thanks Ken!! Happy Holidays looking forward to more videos😊
it would be fast in your oven. plus no smoke. good recipe.

i asked a question about ribs ,,nevermind i saw one thanks
Thanks so much! These were some good ribs. I may have to do this again!
what size do you have. mine is the small 360 think about trying this weekend. get it right before the super bowl
Mine is the smaller one. I don’t think the XL had come out yet when I bought this. I hope you love it as much as I do mine. Thanks for watching!
@@KenRogersMostlyOutdoors so you ordered extra racks

Sugar free BBQ sauce? I am diabetic, that sounds great, most sauces have lots of brown sugar or high fructose corn syrup in them. Looks good, nice video.
Yes... sugar free. I was excited to find it. Lol
I’m not diabetic, but I am a big boy and need to be careful. Thanks so much!
put foil on the catch tray, huge time saver
Man, I rotisseried a bunch of chicken thighs. Smoked like crazy. Do a review on that Alabama white sauce.
Yeah, that happened to me too! Thanks, Tony!
Can you use the foil from the beginning cooking ribs in the Emeril af 360 Lagasse?
In this cooker, I think that would work fine.
What have you figured out , how to stop most of the smoke ? I done a rotisserie chicken . I will never do a chicken in the house again . keep up the vids . today gonna try some pork steaks .

Lol... that was my first in the 360, but certainly not my first. Thanks!
@@KenRogersMostlyOutdoors oh yeah that's what I meant! 😅
Check the sugar alcohol % cause there's a lot of food and drinks that say sugar and it's loaded with alcohol sugar

They recommend not doing that but several do. I’m sure it does help
The recipe book for this air fryer said for ribs to cover rack with foil before cooking.
It may be because you're using the fan when baking
Yeah... that was first attempt. I may do a follow up video soon on this one. Thanks for watching!
Never tell people you don't know what you're doing. It always lowers the confidence level is a red flag and scares people away

Mmmm… zero smoke, zero smoke ring! Lol
Thanks for watching anyway… that is if you watched at all.

Got it… lol… good day!
too much fukn around. par boil 15min. hungry in 30 min / beans n slaw. i win
You Win! lol
Marinate the ribs next time
