You could also once your done glazing them air fry another minute or two to help carmalize/thicken the sauce. I never do it but just wanted to let you know. 😜
Thanks for the tip, I used weber beer can chicken and their roasted garlic and herb seasonings. I went 18 mins on both sides at 400 degrees then addition 10 minutes for perfect crispy wings. I loved your addition of maple syrup to the honey mustard sauce. Try the roasted garlic and herb by Weber , you won't be disappointed!
I will try it for sure 👍, where do you get it at? I swear, I find myself making wings 2-3 times per week now that I got this unit. I also like the Baby Ray wing sauce....you can find it at any grocery store.
@@ONBLASTWITHMG I get the Webers beer can chicken seasoning and the Webers roasted garlic and herb seasoning at our local Walmart usually about $2.95 for a 5.5oz container, all natural ingredients and no msg, nitrates or preservatives. @@ONBLASTWITHMG Would have been nice of you to mention that. Never the less, I finally put the baking tray under on lower shelf and it helped. Wings were really good too.
@@ONBLASTWITHMG just got this air fryer (new version) and have only done frozen fries and hash browns, so no meat that will drip. I'm disappointed to hear that it will smoke. just curious why you had 2 different cooking times and 2 different cooking temps in your video. first it was 390 degrees at 55 minutes then 400 degrees at 48 minutes
I don't think you have to flip Wayne, I have made this recipe an additional three times and did not flip without problems. They were slightly more browned on the bottom but not burned.
I think there is. Per the instructions, the drip pan goes under the rods. I think if you place it above them you'll probably lose some heat and cooking times would vary.
@@ONBLASTWITHMG hi. Just found your channel because I got the 360 XL and was looking to see how to make hot sings using the air fryer. So what's the difference between the one you have and the XL?? Thanks
@@palomaaguirre86 Hi Paloma, The difference is size only. Here are the measurements between the standard and XL. Standard Size: 15.1” x 19.3” x 10.4” XL Family Size: 15.6” x 19.7” x 13” Enjoy
We just made them but couldn’t find BBQ rub. So we used Shake-n-Bake bbq flavor. Placed our foil over the basket and cooked for probably 40-45 minutes on air-fry. They turned out so good!
I'm with Gwendolyn and I also disagree with B.C.Raul. I worked in a restaurant where our menu was mainly chicken and fish (and other sea food) and by the way handling is totally different. I'm still certified because I keep up with my certification(because things change) we all know that. Yet still, it is recommended that not only chicken but all fowl need to be properly cleaned and kept separate from other animal proteins (which also have to be washed properly)and kept separated and kept at a certain cooling temperature, whether washed or not. But there is something about the bacteria that is attached to fowl and fish quickly that act more aggressively than one her animal proteins also other her foods. But I digress look it up in your own area about proper food handling or preparation and act accordingly. But rest assured I will always properly clean all my food whether it be animal, vegetable, starch etc. Before I serve it to anyone whether it be my family, friends, stranger or a stray animal digging in my garbage.
Wings look good video is not bad either. But according to the instruction manual your drip pan is supposed to be under the heating elements, in this video it is above them. Charles Taylor out.
True That Charles Taylor! Someone else told me that a while back and I remedied the situation pronto. Thanks for the eye of the tiger though. Carry on.
My man! Maybe my eyes are deceiving me but when you flipped the chicken over I saw no crispness about those wings. But I am on this foram to understand how to use this air fryer for more healthy eating and eating, please enlighten me.
Looks yummy !!! Why so many plastic bags ??? LOL The Grandma in me screaming...use a bowl !!! Seems like a long time for wings, but they look so good. Can't wait til my oven arrives .....backorder blues :(
I do use too many bags, I guess I preffer to sauce the wings using the bags as it makes it easier but will make an effort to reduce as I am conscious of the waste. Bowls would be nice. To answer your other question, these units do take longer than a standard air fryer but its worth it especially with all the other available functions. Enjoy your unit
Looks good but thats not fried. Thats why I am having an hard time on in investing in an air fryer. It seems like its an small oven, that chicken came out like it was baked.
Pretty sure that if you look at your Air Fryer the middle slot is marked clearly on the glass as requested number 2, 3 and 4 settings. Hence that slot covers a variety of settings including the airfry one.

Love wings, too bad they are extinct
I have one and I've tried to get them crispy not working but I'll try again after seeing this
Give it a shot, just watch out for smoke
Didn't you smoke up the kitchen since the chicken drippings were falling right on the hot grill bars or bottom below? Mine sure didi!??
I sure did, seems just about everything you cook something that has a drip it smokes like an old FORD

That's a good idea.
Last time I tried this my house was full of smoke and emeril 360 is clean?
This is a huge Emeril problem. No matter how clean this thing is it smokes more than a California wildfire.
Yes it does fill house with smoke and smoke detectors go off and everything! I seem to only be able to bake comfortably in this thing!
And its clean!
Yes, it sucks. I take all my detectors down when I cook with this thing and leave the windows and doors open.

Thank you, need those words of encouragement.
Do you have to flip? I thought that an air fryer was supposed to cook evenly. Like your recipe, we will be trying out soon.

Wait 😳🕵 so there's no need to place the pan to keep the grease from dripping on the heating rods on the bottom?

Where the heck is his drip pan at
@@Im_Him_1of1 should be at the bottom of your air fryer depending on what model you have. What model do you have?
