Big fan of your videos which I started watching last year when I was bedridden with Covid. To this day I'm convinced that travelling vicariously with you got me through the worst of that nasty illness!
Gabriel you' re not only a traveler, but a real explorer ... Enjoy Corsica, it "s beauty, wonderful landscapes, beaches, mountains, woods, almost all for yourself in february, if you are still there ... My best wishes from Paris 🖐
Videos like this perfectly explain my favourite kind of tourism which is exploring islands. Corsica, The Caribbean, Sardinia, Malta, Hebrides etc. It always spells adventure and the most scenic views among several others.
Hi Gabriel, The Island of Corsica is well fortified a strategic point in the Mediterranean sea between Italy and France a very good spot to watch ships moving along and communicate positions they definitely must of had some skirmishes.
That coastline controls the Strait of Bonifacio and thus an important point of control in the Med. I suspect the fortifications were originally French but the Germans would have used them in WW2, especially after the Allies had beaten them in North Africa and everyone expected some sort of invasion. A large gun emplacement there could sink any ship trying to pass between Corsica and Sardinia.
Hi Gabriel, I was so blown away by the pink building you discovered in the village of Pino in your last video, I looked it up and was amazed to see its called the "Pink Mausoleum" of the Picciono family containing the ashes of Valentinr Eiffel daughter of Gustave Eiffel. Along with all that eroded Baroque Architecture round there, man what a find what a place. Keep on keeping on....
If you ever explore the US east coast more - off the coast of NH there is the Isle of Shoals which was an old WWII military base, now abandoned. They do tours... think we actually went as a field trip when I was a kid.
Wowwww what a nice beautiful 😍 Corsica island is totally Paradise So beautiful breathtaking Views and beaches, I love it 😍 thanks for this Wonderful walk around tour video stay safe Godbless u sir Gabe from solid fan supporter from the Philippines 🇵🇭 sir Vhin 🙏🙂👏👏👏👍
Hi Gabe I was wondering if you are coming back to Croatia? Becouse island Vis was a military base for yugoslavia It is a interesting island to visit. Island Pag and Cres are also very unique Cres has wild voltures and sheep that you can see regularly.
With all that France has been through, it is curious how far back those bunkers date. Being as weathered as the island is, I can’t imagine them being centuries old. Although it is the birthplace of Napoleon, I’m guessing they are from the most recent world wars.
It's not "bonzjir" but it's pronounced "bonzjoor " like do, boo, flu, moo, zoo. Corsica looks nice and cultural, I'm surprised by how big it is too, need to sail their one day.

Legendary Title. Lengendary Traveller.
You should have a map, with a list of your countries visited. Maybe clicking it could link to certain videos?
Cool video 🎉 ciao from italy 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
I’m Mediterranean .
I miss my hiking near the Mediterranean Sea .
That was cool 😎
Nice
Hi gabrial. You should try puglia Italy. Its amazing.
Yeah seen similar bunkers in Spain.
With all that France has been through, it is curious how far back those bunkers date. Being as weathered as the island is, I can’t imagine them being centuries old. Although it is the birthplace of Napoleon, I’m guessing they are from the most recent world wars.
You can brought a drone camera good for you
Towards the end there with that long pipe has me thinking maybe some mining was going on in those cliffs??? :>/
Have you come across many ww1/2 structures? Maybe make one video from all those? Or a series where you go find bunkers etc in europe? :)
