I flew comfort plus recently and my entire experience was amazing. I wish I had the skill to create a video such as yours. I was so nervous when I arrived at the airport and actually was having second thoughts about getting on the plane. My experience was amazing, from the moment of check til the moment I landed. Delta is an amazing airline, the staff took care of us really well under the circumstances(covid). I had seat 19E on my return flight from Atlanta, talk about being spoiled;) Had the area to myself with a tv to watch and a screen telling me where we were flying over and how long it would take to arrive in John Wayne. Thank you for sharing your video.
@@MileHigh_Aviation Yes It is very beautiful flying over the the city and homes,I've flown to San Diego a few times from Atlanta,I like San Diego it's more laid-back than Los Angeles,it seems to me.
The emergency exit seats are always smaller than the normal Main Cabin seats. You lose some width in the seat because of the tray table in the armrest AND the fuselage wall around the exit door takes up some room next to the seat.
If you fly Deltas A321 (one of my favorites) don’t bother with comfort plus. Main cabin is just as comfortable without the cost or mikes to give up. Do yourself a huge favor and buy mail and pay the extra for 27A or 27F exit row with no seats in front. You’ll thank me.

I recently flew a round trip from Atlanta to Minneapolis and back. On the trip up, I flew comfort, and I sat pretty much dead center of the wing. The A321 was very quiet compared to the 757 that I flew back on. I have a lot of love for the thunder chicken, but it is getting very long in the tooth. The 321s in Delta's fleet are a joy.
Always love it when you review a delta flight! Really wish I could’ve seen the 757, but the A321 is my next favorite! Keep up the amazing work! I always consider you to be among the top flight reviews with Jeb Brooks, Paul Lucas, and QFS! 👍
I agree with your point about Delta leg room, especially on their smaller planes. As a tall guy, I practically don't fit! But I love Delta as an airline, so whenever I fly domestic, I go with the comfort+ seat.
That's a great video and such an amazing Air Bus . I always fly Delta Air Lines , either Domestic or International . I love flying on Airbus. Though I love the sound of those jet engines, Boeing engines are extremely loud even in the cabin. Airbus definitely seems quieter and more pleasant.
Same for me. Airbus is always quieter and more comfortable than Boeing from my 20 years of flying. Last flight was on the A321 to Orlando and it was very comfortable even in economy.
I will be flying Delta Comfort Plus in about 2 months time; first time flying in...I don't know how many years. And I seriously hope the on flight entertainment, still has Rick and Morty as a viewing option lol. Great video; even though I am pretty short and probably don't need the extra leg room, glad I got it since I get a little anxious flying and just so I can stretch out my legs. Thanks for giving us this inside view of the comfort plus experience.
Thanks for the vid! I try to fly Delta as much as possible 1) for the IFEs throughout the plane, 2) I've always had far better experience with their flight crews, 3) Their First and Comfort + products are great!!
I was on a connection flight form atl to smf and a few of the oxygen masks popped down but the crew handled it great and we made a stop for them to fix the problem
"Poor scheduling"-they are hampered by covid19. It really sucks but I am being patient with them.I fly Delta about 3 times a year as a paying passenger and occasionally I try to fly non rev as I am a family member of retired Delta employees (my dad was a pilot and my mom was a FA way back in the day)-but it is a pain in the ass and I don't want to risk being bumped and being late for work because I can't fly home. I have grown up flying Delta,so I may be a little biased, but I don't expect it it be perfect right now.I had to go to Atlanta to go to Salt Lake City last month, the nonstops from New Orleans were cut.It seems like Delta cut flights to other hubs along with the 95 percent reduction in flights. Everything is going back through ATL.Delta had several non stops from New Orleans prior covid19,including Salt Lake City,Minneapolis,Detroit, seasonally to Cancun, and JFK,etc...Now most have been cut.In 2 weeks I am going to Bozeman,Montana through Atlanta, then Minneapolis, then Bozeman. That previously would have been a 2 hopper, either through Minneapolis or Salt Lake sans Atlanta. But,I already noticed more flights in the week i was on vacation in Idaho/Utah last month. So more are being added weekly. My biggest gripe is customer service via phone/email/app.I tried to speak to a representative and could not.I tried for 2 days.calling,texting,emailing,etc...It really pissed me off but I understand that they are understaffed. Apparently they have rehired people to answer phones n stuff.I forgot the article title, but a travel writer dod address this a few weeks ago. PS-I love your videos.Stay safe and keep em up!
That “emergency pair” of headphones is definitely from Alaska Airlines. I recognize those. I never rely on airline earbuds because they sound terrible. At least in economy class, all headphones with a standard AUX jack are fully compatible with Delta’s IFE system. (Yes, even the 737-800s with the jack in the armrest.) Are there any planes or seats with those terrible double jacks I should know about to avoid?
Nobody, and I mean nobody messes iTripReports Stroopwafel lol. Other than that, A321 aircraft and cabin looks really good and that IFE is *Insert Emperor's New Groove Meme* and I will definitely try it out one day.... Whenever one day will it be lol.
I fly out this Sept. -3 hr. flight I haven't flown Delta since 2007,and it was economy seating. I can't wait I have booked a comfort plus seat, sounds like i will enjoy this seating better. I was just wondering when your standing in the comfort plus line to you stand in order of seat number and do they announce to us when its our turn to board :)
I don't fly often but my last flight on DL was TUS-ATL on a -90,ATL-IAH on an -88 in December of '14,in fact the last time I've flown period! IAH is my home airport and am long overdue for a family visit to TUS,am on the fence as to what airline to fly,may try SWA but if I can find a IAH-SLC segment both going and coming home I'll go that way--flying TUS-ATL makes for a long flight--based on this video,I can't believe DL and perhaps other carriers have cut out the inflight magazine! As for beverages, have US carriers simply gotten rid of choices? What if I want a soda or even coffee? During the boarding on this flight, noticed a guy in a blue T-shirt without a mask,am surprised he was allowed to board, thought facemasks were mandatory.
Great Video and thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience with the audience, keep up the great work,I just flew from Norfolk VA to Atlanta yesterday and it was a pleasant Flight indeed,I sat in Row 12 and it wasn't bad at all ,on my next trip if I'm flying on a much longer Flight I will take your advice on sitting in row 13 if possible, Thanks again 😉.
Would you guys recommend upgrading to comfort plus on a 4:20 hours flight from SLC to MCO? I wanted to upgrade, however there are only middle seats available smh
I always thought that the jumpseat at the 2R door was the oddest place to put it. It looks so weird that it's on the aisle and not by the window like other airlines.
Oh haha, at first it was a lot of family/work trips which made up my channel. But now that I started gaining revenue from it I’ve directly invested all of it to future flights 😅.
iTripReport That’s cool! So my friend Jayden (OneWorldFlyer) goes to school in Australia for aviation management and one of QFS videos was the subject in one of his classes. Crazy!
They’re honestly some of the most responsive systems out there. Zero to no lag, and work almost like a tablet. Much better than JetBlue’s old system which would take 1-3 seconds to respond to touch, which is the same issue American’s system currently has. Delta’s however; never had a lag issue with it
The only reason they have them (which i see as a waste) are to display the safety video to rows that don’t have a TV monitor directly in front of them, such as my row. Delta has been installing these on almost all aircraft, with 757s have some of them on bulkhead walls.
Nice legroom by the emergency exit. How cold does the seat get? I noticed on a different flight the exit row was cold though I didn't necessarily feel a draft.
Nice Video! However,The Restrooms on That plane are very tight squeezed and I feel for anyone who's overweight or obese try to fit into those lavatories!
Great video! But is anyone else worried that with the increasing ranges of narrow-bodied equipment we will start to see more and more trans-oceanic mid-haul and eventually long haul flights? I can't think of any way this will be pleasant. They are fine for short domestic flights but imagine spending 12 hours on an a321. Furthermore, imagine having a last-minute equipment swap where a widebody fitted for long haul is replaced with a 757 fitted with a domestic cabin layout. Then imagine paying for a business class ticket for a long haul flight, expecting a typical long-haul business class hard product, paying $4,500 + for the ticket, and ending up in whatever sad excuse US carriers are calling 'first-class' these days. Or even worse, sitting in an economy class seat, but with 29" or 30" pitch. representatives from the airlines claim that using smaller planes allows them to fly to and from smaller airports with much lower landing fees and other fees the airport charges airlines to operate out of. They claim that costumers are excited about this. Who is excited about this. I think that they just want to extend their crap domestic service on long haul routes while charging outrageous prices. This speculation applies to US carriers, obviously, that over the last few years profitable but instead of using those profits to improve the airline in any meaningful way and just focused on stock-buybacks.
So you would rather sit in a 17inch 777 seat instead of a 18.25inch A321 seat because the fuselage is wider and there is a second aisle and there's Hundreds more people? You spend 98% of your time in the seat, not in the aisle.
Haha, my seat was jammed for the first portion of the flight, I almost missed out on the swiveling seats. That video will hopefully come out next week!
I take trips like that all the time. I'm not to good at shooting and editing vidz tho. Wanna take some flights together? I have some cool ones coming up and you might, too.
