I wish they added a function where you could drag a window and it custom makes the window to a gap you drag in so you can easily make angled custom windows that would be amazing
It's definitely taken it's design cues from the Thunder Child vessels. I would run diesels with a clean auto trans. There's an incredible one on the workshop, but suffers with range. Maybe focus on a balance of fuel economy/performance mix with this one. Jet or props would be nice either way
Small RC boat on the side, that would be epic, dunno what it would do, it would just be epic. Also you should try an all electric engine, besides 1 gen ofc, it would be pretty fast, or even Electric+diesel/jet
I got some serious respect for your builds, you can create something in 30 min that would take probably most people a few hours to create. Keep on building, because ill keep on watching
I reckon jet powered water jets hidden between the side hulls at the rear of the centre hull would look very slick. Looks like a great design. I'm certainly inspired!
Most predreadnought and early dreadnought battleships had inverted ram bows like this....great in a close-quarters brawl but not so good at keeping water off the deck! Beautiful ships.
@@legogenius1667 So true! I've been skippering a Vanquish (check them out, vanquish yachts) - and as much performance as the inverted bows give, they certainly do chuck a lot of water on deck in the slightest sea, at low speeds.
@@phenixph3 I think I’m could become open but slot of stuff needs deleting to make room cause you can’t really put stuff on the corner pieces cause it’s to thin and still uff just starts sticking out. It is open but when you go to place stuff it’s a but cramped
I'd love to see you do a fluid jet setup on this. You have a fluid jet tutorial that's about a year old and I'm curious what if anything has changed. Also since fluid jets in game don't seem to have a power consumption rating I have no idea how much torque they need, whether they work better at high RPM or low RPM/high torque or what.
A suggestion for the engine and propulsion, considering it’s only a small boat and it’s gonna need to be fast; you could go with the Diesel engine but instead use water jets as you can use them to also turn the boat?
I've got a a trimaran style boat that is driven by jet engines. Its kinda fun to sail. The low placement and rear downward angle it sits means at max thrust it glides up to a nice high level and coasts along the water at 30m/s, and because of that, at highwaves it can want to hop out of the water. Adding to that, because it it jet engine powered... if it leaves the friction of the water it will take off. my boat has flown on several trial runs in heavy weather at max throttle.
This thing looks amazing! It looks mean, modern, and fast. So, I think it should be powered by jet engines powering a water jet. I think you should spawn this in career mode when it's finished, maybe with a small cargo tank. If you build this in career mode, I think you should swap the jet engines for diesel to save fuel and money.
At some point could you do a video on your actual thought process on designing vehicles? Cause I always start and then end up just not liking how it comes together, and am not too sure what I'm doing that I don't like lol. If not, just keep up the great vids :D
I know it doesn’t matter anymore and you get it probably hundreds of times but I hope one day, we can see the uscgc legeare resurrected, but thank you for everything you do for this community; honestly I think you are one of her best designers and the most innovative in this community
Now I can see how bad I am at building. 25min and MrNJersey has an amazing boat. Yesterday I spent 3 hours building a motorboat so that the next dog poop 💩would come out of it. In addition, you can't steal vehicles from rescued people anymore, and that was the only way for me - beyond the steam workshop - to have a nice vehicle. I'M JEALOUS!!! Please create the "Building Vehicles for Dummies" series. I'm already looking forward to the next episode.🚁🛥️🚢🚑🚒🚜
Check out his tutorials. They helped me. He also has over 2000 hours in stormworks. Im at about 500 and ive just gotten good at boats and the logic for them. I cannot build a plane to save me
I think it would be sick if it was electric and would fit with a modern theme next build series a base that's underwater with a helipad and a surface solar farm and a bed and a sub dock underwater with an elevator to the surface
Can you make a Vietnam PBR (patrol boat river)? It’s a water jet powered military riverboat. AND DON’T PACK IT WITH TOO MANY FEATURES! Keep it realistic.
Worried about the buoyancy, I'm sure you will find a way but custom windows are going to be a nightmare. Even if it's fine when upright, storms might be a huge pain with the loss of buoyancy in the cabin.
Lmao, I came to watch this to see the boat i am building. You said tri hull and I started looking for a camera. As I also have fins on the back like you have to for air and exhaust for the engines. However the vessel im building is much larger than this one.
idea for mc bacley it dectect when water is in the cabin in and with check if doors are open and cloes them then pump water out but with a button th override to keep the door open if you want say you are walking in a npc

Don't we all.
last time i checked literally everyone who has played stormworks wants that
RedPug indeed that’s why I said it lel
I greatly agree.
tint would be nice too. When i saw the thumbnail, i thought there was tint and i was just missing it.

give it a firefighting cannon! RC water cannon boat
Yea
Pretty cool

This is like the thunderchild, nice build.
I was thinking the same. Awesome boats.

Beautiful hull shape. I await the completion of this project with great anticipation.
MrNjersey: as you can see we’ve got this really nice open design
Me:that’s the most cramped thing I’ve ever seen
I dunno man, seems kinda open to me
well keep your opinions to your self, at least hes putting in the effort
Jesus calm down I was making a funny funny not an insult

The thing looks so fast lready, I think it deserves Jet engines and water jet propulsion. Jet boat squared!
Beautiful 😊
I think jet engines and possibly a hydrofoil would be awesome and make this boat fast! And maybe have a small rib you can tow behind you
What a great hull shape! Definitely water jets would look the best!
Looks like it is based on the XSV20 ‘Thunder Child II’
I knew it would be a SAR boat. Great video and have fun building!
I smile every time I hear MrNJeresy! Awsome design!

by far my favorite boat to use to this day
The space under the ship aft of the middle hull is a great spot to put your propulsion and rudders.
Cool design. Love your vids. Waiting for the finished design
Hey jersey you should do jet powered water jets.
P. S. Love the build series
I'm working on this myself, I have had many laughs working it out
JET POWERED JET
Beautiful design.
So funny, i just finished designing the norwegian RS 165 rescue boat used by The Norwegian Sea Rescue Society. Now im working on the RS Ulstein :)
I've built a boat just like this only bigger and WAY FASTER, like 200 knots faster. Search for Shearwater HSR on the workshop.
Wow Your a Very talented builder A+ for you
Add one fast boi engine, and maybe even hydrofoils that can retract?
This build look amazing!!
More and more modern boats nowadays are becoming electric, so maybe an electric jet drive? Love the videos 😉

9:26 in video, wish you posted finishing the hull so i could follow along.. haha
I’d like to see how a jet turbine boat would work. I’ve been trying to get one working. Nice design man.
I'm working on that now as I want to build the ms geico.

LOVE you're vids amazing and informative as always!!
Many build series's recently, this is fun
Or you could go for a modular diesel, which powers the fluid jet.
Kolorado 72 yea cool but modular engines are very unstable right now
@@svenvolwater5473 and very under power.
Smokyblackeyes oh i didnt knew that
I do know that you need very much power for water jets because i never have enough power for them

The highest part of the roof shud be the same height as the part with the windowns
Love it. Keep it coming.
It looks like it might have some buoyancy issues when you put the engines in, maybe you could extend the center hull to make up for the extra weight?
looks familiar , kind of like thunderchild.

ps. can you please post the hull on the workshop so people can build off it?
20:37 do diesel. you always use jet and jets make very loud noises
Full electric without any fossil fuels. Make it work :)
Stay crunchy.
Can you make a train build series pls enjoyed your vid 😄
Yea
Jet for sure
Hay Bild a EN-57 and your videos are afsome
I think it would be sick if it was electric and would fit with a modern theme next build series a base that's underwater with a helipad and a surface solar farm and a bed and a sub dock underwater with an elevator to the surface
Yay another video!!!
You should go with jet engines
Can you make a vid on how to do the side hull 9:25

I think jets will be cool
Love the vids
Nice design. Tried to do similar one but mine basically sits one block above water so not sure where I went wrong. 🙂
can I download the hull like that, cuz it already look awesome.
There are a few on the workshop XSV 18 and the thunder child 2 both have hulls like that.
What happened to the Patrol Vessel build you started a while ago?
Next series’s you should try to make a hydro foil
I all ways subscribe his builds
Take a shot every time he said the word wedge in this video lmao
looks good from the front but the from the side it looks hella stretched, still great looking though!
Hey NJ think about space in stormworks "save a ship loosing orbit" "refuel the iss" the rescues Lorgses creation just think about it
You should use jet engines!
Amazing how fast you are. I spent weeks doing 3 hulls and still didn't end up as good as this. They aren't child builds but, they aren't this...
Do a diesel/electric hybrid

I feel like the deck would look good in a light brown, sort of like a wooden deck. That’s just my opinion 🤷🏻♂️
2 V 18s powering water jets
They need to make a windows update where you can make custom windows with tints
idea for mc bacley it dectect when water is in the cabin in and with check if doors are open and cloes them then pump water out but with a button th override to keep the door open if you want say you are walking in a npc
The new wedge and pyramid pieces still seem bugged. My ships triple their speed when using the old 1x1x1 parts. Kind of sad
waht about water jets?
when will you post the hull
can you do a 20 cylinder modular engine??
jet n diesel
can I follow along with the build?
Jet engines By Far!!!
Diesel water jet
Hi :)
add hydrofoils!!
You actually said MY Channel twice in one sentence 😂
Second!
Not that anyone cares, I know
Why multiple hulls?
I lowkey hate watching you build because it reminds me how BAD I am. LMAO You brain just works in a different way and its a great thing.
What software is this??
its a game on steam called stormworks
How did he get it on land lol
It's been 1.5 years now, What happened with this??? It LOOKS awesome!! I want some closure here!
Check my workshop page
Me watching while filling up 100k fuel on my oil tanker
Make a modular engine
Sexy hull, but...
500 imaginary dollars says that once its fleshed out with engines and fuel itll be decks awash in 2' seas.
Hull needs to be taller.
We have magic to be done and I will show how you can make the hull heighten without adding anything
Ooooooo! Looking forward to it ;)
Hey it's me I sent you a Dm on dis and I sent pic of a sar boat and said can you make a sar boat for the next build series
I was the 169th like
epic
I thought the winning poll was ship, not boat?
Wait dear sir
@@MrNJersey i am foaming at the mouth for a ship build
