    Kaw - Liga
    Your Cheatin' Heart
    Honky Tonk Blues
I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry
    Jambalaya (On the Bayou)
Hank Williams Kaw - Liga Lyrics
Kaw-liga was a wooden Indian standing by the door.
He fell in love with an Indian maiden over in the antique store.
Kaw-liga just stood there and never let it show,
So she could never answer "yes" or "no."
Poor ol' Kaw-liga, he never got a kiss.
Poor ol' Kaw-liga, he don't know what he missed.
Is it any wonder that his face is red?
Kaw-liga, that poor ol' wooden head.
He always wore his Sunday feathers and held a tomahawk.
The maiden wore her beads and braids and hoped some day he'd talk.
Kaw-liga, too stubborn to ever show a sign,
Because his heart was made of knotty pine.
Kaw-liga was a lonely Indian, never went nowhere.
His heart was set on the Indian maid with the coal black hair.
Kaw-liga just stood there and never let it show,
So she could never answer "yes" or "no."
And then one day a wealthy customer bought the Indian maid,
And took her, oh, so far away, but ol' Kaw-liga stayed.
Kaw-liga just stands there as lonely as can be,
And wishes he was still an old pine tree.

It would have been much better for us blacks is we had followed his lead, instead of keeping our own counsel and ending up with the filth we currently produce, a filth that’s threatening to bring down the entire civilization.😢

Hank Williams - who knows what songs were left unwritten? 29 years old and all those great songs!
Listen to the words on I’m So Lonesome - a great poet too.

I appreciate them pointing it out cuz I'd like to think I am a big fan & I definitely have a lot of respect & admiration for Charley Pride. I Didn't realize the spelling either until I saw that lady's reply to someone else paying tribute. I also believe Charley would forgive us. There are a lot of people who make this mistake & he never showed irritation over it. I am a big fan, not only for his voice & choice of songs, but also for the class he showed everytime in public.

There's a reason blacks don't leave the USA.
It's the same reason blacks from all over the
world swarm to live here. Ask yourself, why
would blacks choose to live in a systemically
racist country? If you're honest, which you don't
appear to be, you'll understand that you've
been lied to... and you prefer to believe the
