I've seen trials bikes, motorcycles, all the way up to Russian Ural 6x6 trials. But this, this is without doubt the coolest trials I've seen. Thanks for sharing 👍
Great fun for the competitors -------------------- can't believe the abuse given to these irreplaceable, valuable and rare vehicles. The only place in Australia to see such cars are in museum's and the occasional enthusiast's show & shine get togethers.
I love you brits (im American) never see anyone do this with Model Ts or As. Then theres tou guys friggin giving it full send lol. My hats off to you all!
People in America: I'm not sure if I should take my classic car out. Looks like rain. People in Britain: Wob your nob guv' we're goin' t' the top o' the witch's teat t'day!
there were many variations on those austin engines, all the way from flathead stockers to dohc all out racers. there's a video somewhere on ytube about the austin performance engines. really fascinating stuff.
Hello it's the bloody colonist,I love the older prewar cars like those . Built simple and effective transport, a friend of mine got a prewar Morgan it wasn't fast and the dark hunter green, when the Lucas acted up I fixed it or push started her, the leather flat fan , generator belt always slipped. I miss that little popper ! !
Excellent trial, only Brits can invent such things! Love it!
Thanks
Crazy! Most modern cars wouldn't do it, but a 10 HP Austin Seven does the climb!
Its 7 hp!
There usually modified to like 60 hp
@@dugletmarshmallow1559 I doubt whether an Austin 7 could reach 60BHP and not last more than 10 seconds !
@@bertiewooster3326 if you have the right parts and some money it could

On no, i hate to see beautiful old vehicles treated to such abuse. Although I must admit it looks like lots of fun an a good day out.
Didn’t realise this type of event still took place, marvellous! Loved the young enthusiastic comentary😉
Thanks

The straw hat crowd at Amelia Island is having a few massive heart failures seeing these being enjoyed. .. LMAO 🤣
Sheesh, hold the camera still!

Mud tyres and they’d have all made it no problem. Lovely exhaust noises
Great fun
Luvin the commentary keep up the good work and you will be the next budding Murray walker .(ps any idea when and where the next event will be ?.)
Probably sometime in the winter

What happens if they don't make it up? Do they reverse back down, or does that Land Rover at the top give them a tow?
Yeah the Land Rover sends a rope down and we take them up
Tough old British cars ....... I've had a few , love em , fantastic . And a couple of old Ford model A's made the hill
That 7 was screeeming🙄🙄🙄 Awsome
Cracking vid.
Is this a byway open to all traffic or private land?
Private land
Really cool video bud. Some the cars are so small
Amazing how angry and buzzy those little Austins sound when they're wound up. You can see why they were so popular as budget racing cars.

kinda hard on the old cars i would say.

Good content .. How do model T`s normal do at trials ? I`m guessing way too high geared?
There’s no model t’s but the model A is quite good
One went up Ben Nevis. Though a stripped down special
Model T's would probably stop for not getting fuel (gravety-fed with the tank under the seat). You'd have to at least modify it and put a fuelpump in
@@CaptainKrimson My Dads pickup (built in the UK 1926.) has the fuel tank under the windscreen. It has a two speed axle .
@@benmk21600 that would be a modification, a Ford model T with the tank under the windscreen?
