Absolutely right ! Spent 45 minutes and wasted about 30 of my prime swear words using a pair of channel locks trying to losen the basin nuts, finally quit and looked at You Tube and saw your video . Went to home depot, it was 19.99 and arrived home and had both basin nuts off in 5 minutes. Thank you ! Never knew this tool existed !

This is a great tool. I just used it to install a new Kohler kitchen faucet. However as much as this tool covers, didn't help in removing a 12 year old Kohler Faucet. When you remove the Cube shaped Metal attachment, the tool will fit the two screw heads in the Round Lockdown Ring to tighten the Faucet to the Countertop. On the old Kohler it's a Oval Ring, too wide a gap for the tool to grab those screwheads. I used a couple of small vice grips to grab each screw head to crack it, then was able to unscrew it by hand. The Rigid tool worked fantastic on socking the new faucet down. PS...$15 at one of the big box hardware stores. Excellent recommendation and review!

think the screw driver is for leverage.

That is a neat tool, thanks for exposing it to me. The screwdriver hole is there to give greater leverage when twisting, or you can use a wrench on the flats above it - just giving you 2 different options it seems.
